One Piece Chapter 25, page 10-14: 800 LIES

Tamanegi runs up screaming that he saw a strange man walking backwards. The others are skeptical, but he insists it is true. In the distance, a mysterious man in a black coat and top hat is indeed seen walking backwards down the road.

The strange man introduces himself as Jango the Hypnotist. When the kids call him weird, he denies it, claiming he is just a passing hypnotist. The kids excitedly ask him to show them his skills.

Jango initially refuses to show his hypnotism but immediately prepares to do so anyway. He swings his pendulum, telling them they will fall asleep on the count of 'One, two, Jango'. However, he ends up hypnotizing himself along with the kids, falling fast asleep on the ground.

Usopp sits alone on the cliffside overlooking the sea. Luffy suddenly drops down upside down from a tree branch, startling him. Luffy then asks Usopp if his father is Yasopp.

Luffy explains that he has known Yasopp since childhood and notes that Usopp looks just like him. He tells Usopp that Yasopp is currently a sniper on Shanks's pirate ship, calling him one of his favorite pirates.
