The village headman suddenly realizes something and panics, screaming, "HAH!!!! OH NO!! SHIRUKU IS IN THAT SHOP!!". Luffy, ignoring the panic, asks, "WHERE CAN I GET FOOD?". The headman points down the street, "RIGHT THIS WAY!". Luffy walks toward a building with a sign reading "Ba-baba Restaurant", saying, "OH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Luffy enters the restaurant. Shiruku is sitting at a table, holding her sword. She looks up as the door opens. Luffy says, "WELCOME." and "HEY." Recognizing him as a pirate, Shiruku instantly leaps across the room and slashes her sword at him, shouting, "PREPARE YOURSELF, PIRATE!!!". Luffy dodges the slash with a surprised "WAH". He falls back and quickly waves his hands, saying, "WAIT, I'M NOT A PIRATE." Shiruku pauses, confused: "EH?". Luffy grins and adds, "NOT YET, ANYWAY."

Luffy sits at a table, stuffing his face with food with loud chewing sounds. He complains about some dishes while praising others: "AH, THIS IS GROSS!" "THIS IS GOOD!!" "THIS TOO, BUT THIS ONE'S GROSS. Shiruku watches him, resting her chin on her hand. She remarks, "NO WONDER, I THOUGHT YOU LOOKED WEAK. YOU DON'T HAVE A WEAPON EITHER. BUT THAT SHIP IS GYARI'S, ISN'T IT? WHERE ARE THEY-" Luffy swallows his food and points a finger, saying, "LISTEN TO WHAT I'M SAYING. I'M GOING TO BECOME A PEACE MAIN." Shiruku blinks, "PEACE MAIN?". Luffy explains, "THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PIRATES. VIOLENT PIRATES WHO JUST PILLAGE AND LOOT ARE CALLED 'MORGANIA'. 'PEACE MAINS' FIGHT THOSE GUYS AND GO ON ADVENTURES. HAT'S WHY I WANT TO MAKE A CREW OF PEACE MAINS." Shiruku looks skeptical, pointing out, "AND SAIL WITH THEM, BUT THERE ARE SO MANY MORGANIA PIRATES IN THE WORLD.. EITHER ONE WILL JUST WIND UP PLUNDERING IN THE END, WON'T THEY?". Luffy replies, "I DON'T REALLY MIND. I'M NOT AN ALLY OF JUSTICE OR ANYTHING."
