One Piece Chapter 1.1, page 41-42: Romance Dawn (Version 1)

Gyari is terrified, his face sweating as he screams, "BASTARD!! WHY ARE YOU ALIVE!!? AND... HOW DID YOU GET ON THIS SHIP!!?". Luffy calmly replies, "I'LL ALSO TAKE BACK THAT VILLAGE'S TREASURE.". The pirates shout back, "WHAT!? THAT SHOULDN'T CONCERN YOU!!!". Luffy picks up his straw hat from the deck, saying, "YOU SMASHED MY TREASURE. Give it.". He then looks at the ship and asks, "BY THE WAY, IS YOUR TREASURE THIS SHIP?". Gyari tries to act tough, shouting, "WHA... WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY, BASTARD...!!! YOU DON'T SCARE ME ANYMORE...!! HITTING YOU DOESN'T WORK, SHOOTING YOU DOESN'T WORK, BUT......IF YOU'RE SLICED IN HALF, IT'S OVER! AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOU'RE A HAMMER!!! 'PROBABLY!!'". He orders his crew, "EVERYONE!! SEND THAT FREAK TO HELL!!!".

Luffy looks at Gyari with a calm, confident smile, saying, "I'LL ALSO SMASH AND SINK YOUR TREASURE.". Gyari laughs nervously, shouting, "DON'T SAY SUCH RIDICULOUS CRAP!!! IF YOU CAN DO SUCH A THING...!!". Luffy simply replies, "I'LL DO IT. Upon hearing this, Gyari's crew completely panics and begins jumping overboard into the sea, screaming, "U... UWAH, THIS IS BAD!! ESCAPE!!" and "IF IT'S HIM, HE'LL REALLY DO IT!". Gyari tries to stop them, yelling in frustration, "OI!! WAIT YOU BASTARDS!!!".
