One Piece Chapter 13, page 16-18: Chapter 13: TREASURE

Nami grabs Boodle's spear, shouting at Luffy, 'I OUGHTA KILL YOU RIGHT NOW, BEFORE YOU CAN GET A CREW AND GO PILLAGE SOME TOWN!' Boodle tries to calm her down, but Nami continues to yell, 'YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST ME! THEN LET'S HAVE IT OUT RIGHT NOW!!!' Luffy ignores her ranting, walks past her, and drops a single, slightly damaged box of pet food in front of Chouchou with a soft 'PLUNK!

Luffy sits cross-legged in front of Chouchou, saying, 'THAT'S ALL I COULD SAVE FOR YOU, BOY! THE REST GOT EATEN, OR BURNED...' Nami gasps in realization, thinking, 'HE FOUGHT THAT LION......FOR THE DOG'S SAKE!!' Luffy smiles and tells Chouchou, 'YOU DID GOOD! YOU FOUGHT WELL! I DIDN'T GET TO SEE YOU IN ACTION... BUT I KNOW YOU DID GOOD!' Chouchou picks up the box of pet food in his mouth and walks away.

Chouchou stops, turns back, and barks happily at Luffy. Luffy grins widely and waves, 'THANKS... GOOD LUCK TO YOU, TOO!' Nami smiles softly. Meanwhile, at the Buggy Pirates' base, Buggy is informed that Mohji has been defeated. Furious, Buggy declares, 'TEATIME'S OVER, KIDDIES! WE'RE GOING TO LIGHT UP THIS TOWN!! UNTIL THERE'S NOTHING LEFT!!! READY MY SPECIAL BUGGY BALLS!!!
