One Piece Chapter 1.1, page 42-44: Romance Dawn (Version 1)

Luffy looks at Gyari with a calm, confident smile, saying, "I'LL ALSO SMASH AND SINK YOUR TREASURE.". Gyari laughs nervously, shouting, "DON'T SAY SUCH RIDICULOUS CRAP!!! IF YOU CAN DO SUCH A THING...!!". Luffy simply replies, "I'LL DO IT. Upon hearing this, Gyari's crew completely panics and begins jumping overboard into the sea, screaming, "U... UWAH, THIS IS BAD!! ESCAPE!!" and "IF IT'S HIM, HE'LL REALLY DO IT!". Gyari tries to stop them, yelling in frustration, "OI!! WAIT YOU BASTARDS!!!".

Luffy leaps high into the air above the ship, stretching his leg incredibly high into the sky. He grins widely, shouting, "SMASH IT...". Down on the deck, Gyari looks up in absolute terror, sweating and screaming to his fleeing crew, "STOP HIM!! HURRY!!! STOP HIM!!!".

Luffy brings his giant, stretched leg crashing down onto the center of the pirate ship with immense force. The ship is split completely in half down the middle with a massive explosion of wood and water. The text reads: "...TO PIECES!!!".
