In a coastal village, the residents are in a state of panic. A lookout shouts, "IT'S 'CRESCENT MOON GYARI'!!" and "WHAT!?" while another confirms, "THERE'S NO MISTAKE. THAT JOLLY ROGER... IT'S CRESCENT MOON GYARI'S SHIP!!". An elderly man with glasses, a small square mustache, and a topknot—the village headman—looks through binoculars as the villagers crowd around him. They anxiously ask, "WHAT DO WE DO HEADMAN!!" and explain, "HE'S A SCOUNDREL WHOSE NAME IS BECOMING WELL KNOWN RECENTLY" and "IT'S HEADING TOWARDS THIS VILLAGE!!". The headman sweats and says, "...THIS IS A SMALL VILLAGE. IF THIS IS THEIR AIM, I BELIEVE HANDING OVER OUR VALUABLES IS THE SAFEST OPTION, BUT...!". The villagers protest, "BUT...!! HANDING OVER OUR GOODS TO PROTECT THE VILLAGE IS JUST REPEATING HISTORY. IT'S UNBEARABLE TO HAVE TO KEEP GIVING UP OUR MONEY" and "BUT OPPOSING THEM IS TOO RECKLESS...!!".
