One Piece Chapter 8, page 9-10: Nami

The flashback continues as the pirates pull up next to the small boat and find a young woman with short hair lying inside. "HEY... A GIRL!" they shout. "WHAT'S WRONG, GIRL? HAR HAR HAR! ARE YOU DEAD?" The girl weakly opens her eyes and says, "OH... I'M SEEING THINGS... THERE CAN'T BE ANYONE HERE IN THE VAST SEA..." She begs them, "I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE... BUT COULD YOU SPARE A LITTLE WATER? AND MAYBE A PIECE OF BREAD? I'M LOST AT SEA!" She points to a small chest in her boat, saying, "IF YOU WANT GOLD, TAKE IT... BUT PLEASE... HELP ME." The pirates greedily pant, "SURE, WE'LL HELP YOU... BUT FIRST LET'S JUST TAKE A PEEK IN THAT TREASURE CHEST!

The flashback continues. The girl pleads, "GO AHEAD, TAKE WHATEVER YOU WANT... BUT PLEASE... SOME WATER!?" The pirates ignore her pleas, saying, "PATIENCE LITTLE LADY! FIRST, WE GOTTA SEE YOUR TREASURE!" While they are distracted opening the chest, the girl quickly climbs onto their larger pirate ship. She smiles cheerfully and waves, shouting, "TAKE THE WHOLE SHIP! IT'S ALL YOURS! HEE HEE." The pirates open the chest only to find it completely empty, screaming in shock, "HEY!!! SHE'S LEAVING WITH OUR SHIP... AND OUR TREASURE!! HEY! THIS CHEST IS EMPTY!!!
