One Piece Chapter 7, page 8-9: Chapter 7: Friends

Ripper politely but firmly states, "I'M SORRY, BUT I HAVE TO ASK YOU TO LEAVE. BUT TO SHOW OUR GRATITUDE, WE WON'T REPORT YOU TO THE NAVY." The townspeople outside grow angry, growling "GRR GRR GRR" and shouting, "NAVY PIGS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?", "YOU HATED MORGAN AS MUCH AS WE DID!!!", and "THEY'RE YOUR SAVIORS, TOO!" Luffy stands up and says, "I GUESS WE'LL BE GOING, THEN... MA'AM, THANKS FOR THE MEAL..." Ririka looks sad. Koby stands there silently. Luffy and Zoro walk past Koby with a "WSH" sound. Koby looks down, sweating, as Luffy and Zoro leave.

Ripper notices Koby standing there and asks, "AREN'T YOU GOING WITH THEM?" Koby is startled, stammering, "HUH? I'M..." Luffy stops and looks back, saying, "I'M..." Koby thinks to himself, "WE'RE GOING OUR SEPARATE WAYS, BUT WE'LL ALWAYS BE FRIENDS!" and clenches his teeth, sweating profusely as he mutters, "I..." He suddenly yells, "I'M NOT ONE OF THEM!!!" Luffy smiles at him. Ripper looks closely at Koby and says, "EXCUSE ME, PIRATES?...!
