One Piece Chapter 15, page 14-16: Chapter 15: GONG

Luffy steps forward and yells up at the balcony, "HEY, YOU!!! BIG NOSE!!!" Everyone gasps in absolute horror at the taboo word. Buggy's face contorts in extreme rage as he screams, "KILL HIM!!! GIVE 'IM THE BUGGY BALL!!!" Nami and Zoro react with shock. In the background, the animal-eared man and other crew members look on in terror.

Buggy's crew fires the massive cannon, launching a Buggy Ball with a loud "WOOBOOM!" and "FIRE!!!" sound. Nami panics, screaming, "LUFFY! GET OUT OF THE WAY!! YOU'RE GONNA GET HIT!!!" Zoro yells, "YOU IDIOT! DON'T YOU KNOW WHEN TO SHUT UP!?" Luffy remains completely calm, smirking as he says, "THAT MEASLY CANNON-BALL'S......NOT GONNA WORK ON ME!

As the Buggy Ball flies directly toward him, Luffy prepares his defense. He inhales deeply with a "HUFF" sound and calls out, "GUM-GUM... BALLOON!!!" His body inflates into a giant, round rubber balloon, absorbing the impact of the cannonball right in his stomach.
