One Piece Chapter 14, page 8-10: Chapter 14: RECKLESS

Mayor Boodle stands in the middle of the street, gesturing proudly to the town around him. "AND LOOK AT US NOW! WE'RE A THRIVING PORT! WE OLD TIMERS BUILT THIS TOWN FROM NOTHING! IT'S OUR LIFE'S WORK!" Luffy and Nami watch him silently. Boodle continues with deep emotion, "THIS TOWN AND ITS PEOPLE ARE MY TREASURE! I'D BE A SORRY EXCUSE FOR A MAYOR IF I DIDN'T TRY TO PROTECT THE TOWN! I'M GONNA FIGHT!!!" as he raises his spear high in the air, determined to face the pirates.

At the Buggy Pirates' base, Buggy commands, "FIRE THE BUGGY BALL!!!!" A massive cannonball is launched from the cannon. Back in the street, Luffy, Nami, and Mayor Boodle look up in absolute shock as they hear the terrifying sound of the incoming projectile, with a giant "!!!?" exclamation appearing over them.

A massive, destructive explosion tears through the town with a giant "KABOOM" sound effect. Buildings are instantly shattered into splinters and flying debris as the powerful Buggy Ball impacts the town.
