One Piece Chapter 7, page 16-17: Chapter 7: Friends

Koby suddenly yells at the top of his lungs with a massive "WHAM" sound effect, "I'M NO PIRATE!!! I'M GONNA BE A NAVY OFFICER!!!" Ripper and the other Marines stare at him in silence. Rika and Ririka watch from the background. Ripper walks past Koby with a "TP TP" sound, saying, "MANY OF MY FELLOW SAILORS HAVE BEEN KILLED BY PIRATES... DON'T TAKE BEING A SAILOR LIGHTLY." He then turns and says, "YOU'RE ACCEPTED..." Koby is overjoyed, crying, "YES SIR! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, SIR!!

Down at the docks, Luffy and Zoro are preparing their small boat. Zoro remarks, "THAT WAS SOME PRETTY BAD ACTING... I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THEY SAW THROUGH IT." Luffy replies, "IT'S ALL UP TO KOBY, NOW. HE'LL GET IN SOMEHOW!" Zoro smiles, "WELL, IT'S A GOOD TIME TO BE LEAVING... EVERYBODY HATES US... THAT'S THE WAY PIRATES SHOULD LEAVE A TOWN..." Luffy laughs, "HAHAHA. I GUESS THAT'S TRUE!" Suddenly, they hear a voice shouting, "L-LU-- L-LU-- LUFFY!!!" They turn around to see Koby running toward them.
