In Wano Country's Flower Capital, Rasetsu Town falls into complete chaos. People scream, "Get out of Rasetsu Town!" and "It's an all-out brawl!" as the chapter title appears: Chapter 945, "O-Lin." Orochi flees in his palanquin, shrieking that everyone who takes Yasuie's side is his enemy and ordering his men, "Attend! Attend, you rats!" His command turns bloody: "Capture them all! And cut off their bloody heads!" The capital's confusion has become a manhunt against anyone connected to Yasuie.

Zoro continues clashing with Kyoshiro while Orochi is carried away. Someone shouts, "Stop it, ronin!" and Zoro roars, "Get back here, Orochi!" Kyoshiro only smirks, holding him off. Onlookers are stunned that Zorojuro can go toe-to-toe with Boss Kyoshiro, asking, "How strong! Zoro-juro" and "Who the hell is this guy?!" Then the next danger arrives as the crowd cries, "Orochi's Oniwaban are here!" The shogun's ninja forces pour into the street.

The Oniwaban realize Hawkins was telling the truth: these intruders are indeed the Straw Hat Pirates. Their leader orders, "Capture one of them. I do not care which. Torture should reveal their true objective." His subordinates answer, "Yes!" Robin reacts sharply to a weapon, saying, "That's just a gun!" and counters with "Ninja Art 'Hell Lute!'" while the street battle widens. Usopp warns, "Yeah. I got it! Watch out for that dinosaur!" as X Drake charges. Sanji apologizes, "Sorry, Usohachi!" and O-Toko still cries and laughs, "Daddyyyy! Ahahaha!"

X Drake lunges through the capital in dinosaur form, roaring as Sanji faces him. Drake recognizes the black-suited fighter and says, "You're Soba Mask, aren't ya?" before snapping at him with a massive "CHOMP." Sanji kicks back and snarls, "You!" Drake has already gathered information and says, "I've seen our intel on you. I can't believe you're part of that Vinsmoke line." Sanji explodes at the name, shouting, "Don't you dare" and "Utter that name ever again!"

Hiyori reaches O-Toko and calls, "Toko!" When Toko panics, Hiyori tells her, "Do not worry. The people that have carried off Toko and Yasuie are my friends. We should get you out of the capital, too. Now, while you have the chance!" But Brook appears nearby as the starving skeleton, sending the Oniwabanshu into terror. They cry, "He's here again! The starving skeleton!" and Brook cheerfully curses them, "Curse youuuu!" Fukurokuju spots Hiyori with Zoro earlier and orders, "Get after that girl." Raijin and Fujin answer, "Yes!"

The street battle clears just enough for another confrontation. Trafalgar Law arrives, and his captured crew calls out, "Captain!" Hawkins faces him calmly and says, "I knew you'd come, Trafalgar Law." Law notices that one captive is missing and says, "There's one missing." Hawkins answers, "A white bear." He explains the trap: "Your power can easily whisk these prisoners out of here. Do you think me enough of an idiot to put all of our hostages somewhere visible to you?" Law realizes Bepo has been hidden away beyond his immediate reach.

Hawkins tells Law, "Very soon, you will be joining your friends inside that cage." Law doubts him, but Hawkins smiles, "I wonder. Have you?" When Shachi and Penguin cry out in pain, Hawkins shows the hostage mechanism behind his confidence. He draws his blade and says, "You cannot defeat me." At that moment, he possesses four lives: his own life is linked to three of Law's subordinates. To kill Hawkins, Law would first have to kill his own crew.

The Flower Capital keeps shaking under pursuit and explosions. Someone shouts that the voice of a beautiful woman can be heard, then another calls, "A beautiful woman is being chased!" The beautiful woman is Hiyori, fleeing with Toko as the Oniwabanshu close in. Sanji hears that she is waiting for him to save her and instantly hurls himself toward her, crashing through the street with a huge impact. The battlefield briefly becomes a rescue scene driven as much by Sanji's outrage and attraction as by the chaos around them.

Sanji reaches Hiyori first, only to find Zoro already carrying her. One pursuer shouts, "You protect her?! So you are allies!" Zoro runs with Hiyori while she apologizes, "Zorojuro! I'm so sorry!" He snaps, "They're chasing you, dummy!" and she explains, "I thought my face was covered!" Sanji stares in disbelief, then rage and jealousy overtake him: "Mosshead knows that babe?! That bastard... His bounty's lower than mine!"

On the outskirts of Bakura Town in Kuri, Kin'emon and his group face Ashura Doji. Ashura snarls, "So ya tried to topple us ta bring us inta yer fold?!" Kin'emon is knocked down and calls his name, while another pleads, "Wait, Ashura! We admit our fault!" Ashura accuses them: "You lot burned down Head Mountain!" They admit they acted rashly, saying they were proud of their great cause of a lord's honor and tried forceful methods in haste. They confess they should have prostrated themselves and begged from the very start, because they did not stop to think how twenty years of days and nights might change a man's mind. They ask, "Forgive us, Ashura!"

Kin'emon insists that their plan still lives because Lord Yasuie gave his life to pull wool over the enemy's eyes. The captured samurai now know the moon tattoo on their ankles is no mere fad. Kin'emon declares, "On the night of the Fire Festival... we will storm Onigashima!" and explains that if they can free the samurai in the capital, those men will surely lend their strength too. He asks Ashura directly, "Will you fight at our side, Ashura?!" Ashura answers by turning away and saying, "Come with me. There's somethin' I gotta show you lot."

At the Udon Prisoner's Mine, the gates have been smashed open. The guards panic that the front gates were destroyed and that the second and third gates are gone too. Then Big Mom steps through, and the prisoners scream, "Big Mom!" Luffy, still in the ring, asks, "What's a Big Mom? Is it tasty?" The guards realize she is another Emperor of the Sea, on the same level as Kaido, and cannot understand why she is here when they were told her ship had sunk. The only explanation is that no ordinary granny could destroy steel gates like that.

Big Mom, still acting as O-Lin, sniffs the air and calls, "I smell oshiruko!" She calls for O-Tama and says, "Let's eat some together!!" Chopper realizes O-Lin is calling him and that the lie about oshiruko inside the prison actually worked because the gates opened for her. He tells the others that now they can save Big Brother Luffy. Kiku warns that the leader of Udon is Queen, a headliner of the Hundred Beast Pirates, and tells Chopper that they must proceed carefully. Meanwhile, O-Tama is told to stay hidden with Momonosuke, because Momonosuke most of all must not be found.

O-Lin asks, "Oshiruko, you said?" The guards try to appease her, saying that if she came here, she can get some because she has come from very far. Big Mom happily answers, "I heard. Yes! Please give me some, quickly!" Queen refuses to believe anyone would dare invoke oshiruko and then recognizes how dangerous the situation is. He shouts that oshiruko is his favorite food and asks whether she is trying to provoke him. The guards warn, "Lord Queen's begun transforming!" Luffy interrupts the argument from the ring, yelling, "Oi! Hold up! While you two are arguing, Spikey's gonna drown! Can you hoist 'em out, first?"

Queen's men try to calm him, arguing that this new O-Lin is a nice version of Big Mom and that violent enemies might scare her. Big Mom only says, "Give me..." and listens when someone tries to explain, but Queen transforms anyway. He becomes an ancient zoan, the Dragon Dragon Fruit, Ancient Type, Model: Brachiosaurus. From above, Queen bellows that the prison has plenty of oshiruko, but it is all his, and he refuses to give a single drop to the old hag. Big Mom looks up and answers, "Your oshiruko? I'm not giving you a single drop, you old hag!" The clash begins as the prisoners scream, "Lord Queeeen!" and the chapter ends on the collision between Queen and Big Mom.
