Below, furious faces react with the line "BECAUSE OF THE WAY WE LAUGH..." A man shouts at another, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU IDIOT!I WHY DO YOU THINK... TONOYASU SACRIFICED HIMSELF..." The swordsman declares, "TWO-SWORDS STYLE..." The large central panel erupts with the massive technique "720 POUND CANNON!!!" as the attacker swings his blade, sending enemies flying. On the right, a grinning face explains, "EVERYONE CALLS THIS THE EBISU FACE HERE IN WANO!!" and "THAT IS WHY THIS TOWN IS CALLED EBISU!!"

The 720 Pound Cannon strikes with explosive force. A beast-like face recoils in shock as the impact sends bodies flying amid cries of "KYAAA AAAH!!" and heavy sound effects. The swordsman presses the assault with a massive follow-up strike, the clash marked by "ガキキイ!!!" (Gakikii!!!). A hooded woman watches with wide eyes while a bloodied man gasps in recognition, "THAT'S BOSS KYOSHIRO...!!!"

Chaos erupts across the castle grounds as structures collapse amid massive impacts. A retainer cries out, "MY LORD... YOU ARE BEING TOO CARELESS. HOW COULD YOU LEAVE THE CASTLE WITH SO FEW GUARDS WITH YOU...I" while screams of "K'YAAAAM!!!" and "UWAAAAH!!!" fill the air. A giant dinosaur-like creature looms and roars "GYAA AOOO OH!!" A terrified man realizes, "THAT RONIN... HE WAS TRYING TO KILL ME...!!!" The ronin stands firm as another figure demands, "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!I THINK CLEARLY!!!"

Drake rampages through the area in his dinosaur form, smashing buildings as panicked voices yell "DRAKE IS ON A RAMPAGE!!!" and "UWAAAAH!!!" Amid the destruction, someone orders "FIRE!!" while the beast roars "YOU BASTARD!!" The ronin is hurled through the air by the assault. In the lower panels the dinosaur continues its rampage with heavy impacts and sound effects as a voice commands, "THEY'RE ALL YOURS." The reply comes, "ALL RIGHT!!!"

Chaos erupts as panicked soldiers shout, "WHAT IS UP WITH THAT CARPENTER!!!!!!" A massive furry figure roars "GYAAAAA AAAAH!!!" while a grinning man in a tall hat unleashes "STRONG RIGHT!!!" with a mechanical arm that taps rapidly "TAP TAP TAP". Nearby troops yell in confusion, "WHY ARE OUR GUNS NOT WORKING!!!II" Below, a cloaked man with a topknot is struck and cries out as allies declare, "WE WON'T LET YOU BE LEFT HERE ON DISPLAY!!" "DON'T WORRY!!" "HE TOOK LORD YASUIE!!" Onlookers in the distance ask, "WHAT IS HAPPENING OUT THERE!I" "WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE!I" In the lower panels a blonde woman and a stern samurai watch tensely while a small figure is blasted away with "UWAAAAAH!!" amid flying debris and impact lines.

Orochi rages from his palanquin, ordering, "KILL EVERY LAST PERSON WHO DARED TO TURN AGAINST ME!!!" "MAKE SURE THEY DIE!!!" and "TAKE THE SHOGUN BACK TO THE CASTLE!!!" A horse neighs "NEIGH!!" as the procession is attacked. A cloaked fighter blocks him, shouting "I CANNOT!! BECAUSE I AM..." while Orochi screams "GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" Elsewhere, soldiers receive orders: "THE SHOGUN HAS ORDERED US TO SUBDUE THEM ALL AT ONCE!! YOU CAN KILL THEM IF YOU MUST!!" "A REBELLION HAS STARTED IN THE BAKURA DISTRICT!!" "ALL SOLDIERS, MOVE OUT!!" The Shogun's guard dog growls, "THE SHOGUN'S GUARD DOG." Explosions and smoke fill the Flower Capital streets.

Smoke rises over Wano Country-Udon as a sign labels the location. Luffy shouts, "TAKE 'EM DOOOOOOWN!!!" and "KEEP IT UP, EVERYONE!!" with sweat flying and mouth wide open. In a nearby camp an old man in a cap laughs, "WAHAHAHA, WHAT AN INTERESTING BUNCH!!" while a box states, "SO THOSE ARE THE ONES YOU CAME HERE WITH, STRAW HATI TO AIM FOR OROCHI'S HEAD..." A soldier reports, "MASTER QUEEN, THE CRIMINALS OUR MEN CAUGHT IN THE FLOWER CAPITAL HAVE ARRIVED!!" In the arena a prisoner yells, "SLICE UP THAT SCUMMY GUY!!" as Zoro is urged, "NO!! DO IT, ZORO!!" and questioned, "ARE THEY YOUR ALLIES, STRAW HAT-MAN!I IS THIS NOT BAD FOR-...!!"

At the prison entrance a guard reports, "LORD OROCHI SAID YOU CAN DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH HIM..." while another notes, "KAMAZOU THE MANGLAYER IS ONE OF THEM. HE FAILED TO COMPLETE THE MISSION LORD OROCHI GAVE HIM." A large man demands, "TELL ME WHO THEY ARE, OLD MAID!!" Inside, captives are presented: "ON OUR WAY BACK, WE CAPTURED CAPTAIN KID, THE ONE WHO ESCAPED FROM THIS PRISON!!" "AND UNEXPECTEDLY..." The crowd reacts in shock, "WHOAAA, IT'S KAMAZOU!! HE'S THE TALK OF THE TOWN!!" "WE'VE BROUGHT KAMAZOU THE MANGLAYER!!" A chained, bandaged man laughs "FA FA FA!!" as Kid is dragged forward. An old man yells, "KID!!!! YOU'RE SUCH A FOOL!!" while Luffy stares in surprise, "SPIKY-GUY!!"

The masked prisoner laughs wildly as flashbacks show him being shot multiple times without resistance. "I GUESS HE FORGOT ABOUT HIS SEASTONE HANDCUFFS!! HAHA!!" "AND THAT'S WHY HE'S WITH US NOW!!" "SO WE SHOT HIM A COUPLE OF TIMES, AND HE DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER RESISTING." "WE HEARD HIM YELLING AT US FROM THE DISTANCE, AND THEN HE RUSHED TOWARDS US..." The scene shifts to the present where the spiky-haired man questions him. "AND THEN ONE DAY, YOU STOPPED LAUGHING ALTOGETHER." "HEY... YOU'VE ALWAYS HATED THAT LAUGH OF YOURS." The masked man continues laughing "FA FA FA!!" while others wonder if he got caught on purpose. In the lower panels, an intense confrontation erupts as the curly-haired man demands answers. "WHAT DID KAIDOU DO TO YOU AFTER WE SEPARATED!I OR WAS IT OROCHI!I" "AND WHERE'S THE REST OF OUR CREW!I" "AND NOW, AFTER ALL THAT... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!I" The masked figure laughs louder "FA FA FA!!" as the curly-haired man shouts "ANSWER ME!!!" and recalls how the mask completely hid his face one day.

Killer screams in rage, his face bandaged and mask removed. "KILLER!!!!!!!" "FA FA!!" "HEY!!" A flashback shows the spiky-haired man questioning what was done to him. "WHAT COULD THEY HAVE DONE TO YOU FOR YOU TO ACT LIKE THISI" Others react with shock "GYAHAAHAAAAA!!" and surprise. Luffy stares in disbelief. "...!I" "HUH!I" The scene returns to the present as Luffy realizes the truth. "DID HE TRY TO SAVE HIS COMRADE WHO FELL VICTIM TO THE SMILEI" "THAT'S... THE MASK GUY FROM BACK THEN...!!!" "HOW PITIFUL...!!!" Killer's anguished voice echoes "FA FA FA!!" as Luffy's eyes widen in fury. "WHO DID THIS TO MY PARTNER!!!" The background shows chaos with horses and fallen figures amid the prison grounds.

Killer continues his mad laughter as the scene shifts to prisoners being lowered into water-filled chambers. "GYAHAAHAAAAA!!" "YEEAAAH!!!" "NOW WE'VE GOT EVEN MORE PRISONERS TO EXECUTE!!!" The executioners laugh "FA FA FA!!" while the chained men struggle and cough underwater. "BUAGH!!" "COUGH!" "HUFF... HUFF..." A large man with a topknot yells "SINK 'EM!!!" as the prisoners are submerged. The masked executioners mock them. "WAHA HAHA!!" "I JUST THOUGHT OF A FUN GAME!!" One onlooker watches grimly. "HOW CRUEL... SO HE GOT CAUGHT IN THE END..."

The Great Sumo Inferno Tournament resumes with a loud announcement. "SORRY FOR THE DELAY!! THE GREAT SUMO INFERNO TOURNAMENT SHALL RESUME AT ONCE!!" Explosions and impacts rock the arena "DODODON!!" as fighters clash. The executioner explains the deadly rules. "NOW THESE TWO WILL REMAIN IN THE WATER AS LONG AS YOU TWO ARE ALIVE." "...IN OTHER WORDS, THEY WILL REMAIN SUBMERGED UNTIL YOU BOTH DIE!!" "THAT PART HASN'T CHANGED, BUT~" "THE MOMENT YOU LEAVE THIS RING, THE BLADES INSIDE YOUR COLLARS WILL KILL YOU IN AN INSTANT!!" Luffy glares furiously. The executioner taunts further. "EVEN A PERSON WHO'S COMMITTED GRIEVOUS CRIMES TO GET A LARGE BOUNTY... WILL DROWN WHEN SUBMERGED IN A MERE 5CM OF WATER!!" "BUT IF THAT'S THE CASE... WHY ARE YOU HESITATING NOWI" "OF COURSE YOU MIGHT THINK THAT..." Luffy snaps back, "THAT'S STUPID!! I'VE GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM!!!" The executioner presses on. "IS IT BECAUSE THEY'RE THE RIVALS FROM YOUR GENERATION!I IF THAT'S THE CASE... THEN WHY DON'T YOU DIE NOW!I"

A massive hand lunges forward with a loud GRAB!, seizing a smaller fighter by the head. In the ring below, Luffy stands ready as the towering opponent roars, "THEN YOU SHOULD GET IN THE RING!!! I'LL TAKE YOU DOWN TO END IT ALL!!!" The giant swings a devastating punch, sending Luffy flying with a massive impact. The large sumo-like fighter with a topknot and spiked bracelets follows up, spinning Luffy violently through the air amid debris and smoke while shouting, "...WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TOI" Luffy crashes down with a pained "UWAAAH!!" On the ground, Luffy glares upward as the brute and another masked fighter loom over him. "DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU COULD WIN AGAINST USI DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU'D LEAVE HERE ALIVEI WHY HAVE YOU BEEN FOOLISHLY CLINGING TO HOPEI" one demands. Another voice adds, "DON'T GET AHEAD OF YOURSELVES, YOU BRATS." A background figure mutters, "IT'S BECAUSE HE HASN'T HAD ANY O-SHIRUKO TODAY..." while another replies, "OH, NO, HE'S GRUMPY TODAY...!!"

Luffy, bloodied and furious, yells back, "I'M THE ONE WHO'LL DECIDE...!!" as a massive oni-faced brute looms close, snarling "SHUT UP!! YOU'RE ALL GOING TO DIE! EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!!" A thunderous THUD shakes the area, followed by a colossal impact that shatters stone structures with the declaration "WHERE I DIE!!!" Guards and onlookers in the rocky prison yard react in shock: "HUH!I WHAT WAS THAT!I" and "!!I" Below, the brute's face fills the frame as he growls "O-SHIRUKO..." while the narration notes "THE 'CRAVING' IS DRAWING CLOSER!!" Nearby guards discuss, "WE'VE LOST ALL COMMUNICATION WITH THE GUARDS OUT THERE... IT CAME FROM OUTSIDE THE GATE... HEY, WHAT'S WITH THAT NOISE!I" The page ends with the One Piece logo and chapter notation.
