Kid turns with a fierce grin, growling "KRSSSH!" and "KILLIN' YA RIGHT HERE!" He points forward and announces, "WE'RE GOIN' OUR OWN WAY FROM NOW ON!" Killer steps up beside him as Kid yells, "LET'S GO, KILLER!" and finishes with a determined roar, "WE'RE GONNA GET OUR FRIENDS BACK!" Smoke and debris fill the air around the two pirates.

In the ruined prisoner's mine of Hakumai, the samurai and prisoners argue heatedly. Voices shout, "HOW CAN WE TRUST HIMI HE'LL JUST BETRAY US SOMEWHERE DOWN THE LINE!" and "A PIRATE IS THE LAST PERSON I'D TAKE HELP FROM!" One replies, "YES, BUT NO!" while another cries, "THAT STRAW HAT KID'S A PIRATEI! JUST LIKE KAIDOI!" The title box reads "UDON INSIDE THE PRISONER'S MINE." An old man with a topknot exclaims, "CRAP... SOMETHING'S MISSING. THESE GUYS HAVE REGAINED THEIR SENSES, BUT..." Raizo appears, declaring, "THAT MAN IS THE KEYSTONE OF OUR PLAN TO DEFEAT KAIDO! Trafalgar Law sits at a table with medical equipment, arguing with Momonosuke and a young girl. Law snaps, "BLUFFING THAT IT 'DOESN'T WORK ON ME'... IF YOU'D JUST STAYED PUT, I WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO ALL THIS! VIRUSES HURT, DON'T THEYI!" Momonosuke points and yells, "DON'T TOUCH HIM! I'M STILL WORKING ON FINDING AN ANTIBODY." The girl adds, "LOOK AT HIM! HE'S DEFINITELY NOT OKAY." and "BUT I'M GLAD YOU'RE OKAY!" Law retorts, "WHEN WILL YOU LEARN THAT YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCESI! APOLOGIZE TO ME!" Momonosuke apologizes, "I'M SORRY... IT HURTS..." Law continues scolding, "SILENCE, YOU RUDE FOOL! I WON'T STAND TO BE INSULTED LIKE THAT!" while Momonosuke fires back, "YOU'RE THE REAL IDIOT, OKAYI AND YOU'RE A COWARD, AND A WEAKLING, AND A SCAREDY-CAT. YOU'RE HOPELESS." The girl tells Law, "YOU'RE A BIT OF AN IDIOT, LUFFY... BUT YOU REALLY ARE AMAZING. I COULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING." Suddenly an explosion rocks the area; someone shouts, "HUHI GYAAAH! QUIT IT, DUMMY! YOU'LL DIE!" as debris flies and voices cry, "THEY'RE WAITING FOR YOU OUT THERE!" and "YOU'RE THE ONE!"

Momonosuke stands alone, thinking, "THEY SEE MY FATHER... THE VAST SHADOW OF THE FAMILY THAT HAS SUPPORTED WANO ALL THESE YEARS... THE KOZUKI CLAN! IT ISN'T ME... I'M NOT THE ONE THEY SEE WHEN THEY LOOK AT ME." He recalls the heavy responsibility, saying, "I'VE NEVER FELT SO HEAVY WITH RESPONSIBILITY. DON'T BACK DOWN NOW, MOMO." In a vision of the ruined castle he vows, "I WILL TELL YOU ALL WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY, AT ODEN CASTLE." and "I-I'D LIKE EVERYONE TO LISTEN TO ME." The crowd of prisoners bows deeply before him. Momonosuke continues, "THERE IS SOMEWHERE I MUST GO, AND PEOPLE I MUST MEET, BEFORE THE FINAL BATTLE." An old man replies, "I SEE. MM!" while another voice states, "LORD MOMONOSUKE'S REGAL FIGURE HAS ALLAYED MY FEARS. I MUST SAY, AND WITH HASTE." The massive crowd cheers with relief, shouting, "WE ARE SO GLAD THAT YOU ARE WELL!" and "A DREAM!" as the word "獄" appears amid the smoke and ruins.

In a desolate, ruined landscape of Wano marked by broken fences and withered trees, a group of samurai and retainers stand solemnly. A large map of Wano Country highlights regions including Kuri, Udon, Hakumai, and Onigashima. Narration recounts, "AND DIED. THE DOLDRUMS GOT TO THEM. THEY HEADED FOR ONIGA-SHIMA." The samurai continue their heated discussion amid ruined fields and distant mountains. Voices lament, "BEFORE THE BATTLE EVEN HAPPENS. WE'LL DIE OF ILLNESS. WE DON'T EVEN HAVE FOOD! BECAUSE WE REFUSE TO BEND THE KNEE TO OROCHI." Flashbacks show destruction as figures cry, "THEY BURNED OUR CROPS! GYAH HA HA HA! THEY DESTROYED OUR WELL! IT'S KAIDO'S ARMY!" A determined warrior yells, "IF WE'RE NOT LONG FOR THIS WORLD, WE WANT TO LEAVE AS SAMURAI. AT LEAST... LET US DIE WITH OUR SWORDS IN OUR HANDS! DON'T STOP US!" Another roars, "QUIT COMPLAINING! THIS ISN'T A DOG'S DEATH! IF WE DON'T GATHER AS MUCH MEN AS WE CAN UNDER THE KOZUKI NAME, WE DON'T STAND A CHANCE! WE CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE, SHUTEN-MARU!"

The warriors rally with passionate cries. One declares, "TO THROW AWAY OUR NAMES AND THOUGHTS! WE'D YELL THAT WE NEEDED CLEAR YOUR MIND AND DIVE INTO THE FRAY!" Others recall, "WE KNEW THAT PEOPLE GET SCARED BECAUSE THEY VALUE THEIR OWN LIVES! WE HAD A CHANT WE'D SCREAM TO TEST OUR COURAGE. D'YA REMEMBERI WHEN WE WERE KIDS..." A massive splash panel shows burning ships on the sea with the bold declaration, "NO LIFE AND NO FEAR!" followed by the chant "ヤアアアアアアアア!!" A voice urges, "LET'S HEAR IT, BOYS!" In the waves, figures call out, "COME BACK, MEN! COME BACK!" A close-up shows a tearful, intense face reacting to the memories.

Amid ruined stone pillars, the group stands resolute. A large SFX "ベベキ!!" echoes. Voices question, "THERE MUST HAVE BEEN SOME REASON! ONLY THE ONE WHO SENT US CAN KNOW. WHY SO LONG... A large group of fierce samurai and allies raise their swords in the air, shouting with rage and determination. "WE WON'T LET LORD YASUIE'S DEATH GO TO WASTE!" "WE'VE WAITED FOR THIS DAY!" "OF COURSE, LEADER!" A massive impact sound "バキン" erupts as a huge, curly-haired man with a dark beard glares furiously. "BUT NOW WE'RE 20 YEARS STRONGER THAN YOU LOT!" Nearby, a grinning man with wild hair and glasses calls out, "YOU GUYS ARE THE SAME AS YOU WERE THAT DAY, RIGHT, KINEMONI" "ONCE UPON A TIME, WE WERE THE SAME AGE." "ASHURA!" Another voice snaps, "OI, COME OFF IT. NONE OF US CAN STOP A FIGHT BETWEEN RED SHEATHS!" A small "HUHI!" reaction appears. A voice accuses, "YOU'VE BEEN ACTING STRANGELY." Another replies softly, "AH..." while a third asks, "WHAT'S THE MATTERI" A sign reads "FLOWER CAPITAL." Inside a building, a stern woman with long hair and a headband glares and says, "THE SOONER YOU TALK, THE SOONER THIS WILL BE OVER." Beside her, another figure agrees, "YEAH. OUR TASK IS SIMPLE."
