Explosions rock the town of Udon in Wano Country as a massive sign reads "ELIMINATE THOSE SIX PESTS!!" and "CHAOS!!" fills the air. Luffy leaps through the air, dodging a hail of gunfire. A voice shouts, "THEY'RE NOT HITTING HIM AT ALL!!" Luffy yells back, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU AIMING AT!I" while another figure commands, "STOP IT!!!" The shooter retorts, "I TOLD YOU IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO I SHOOT!!" The narration box states "THE EXCITEMENT BULLETS..." as bullets fly past Luffy amid the destruction.

Explosive impacts rock the battlefield as fighters are hurled through the air. A striped-shirted prisoner reels from a blow, shouting GUGH!! while another screams UWAHHH!! amid flying debris and impact stars. Luffy, face twisted in fury, glares and declares, "I WON'T FORGIVE YOU FOR USING VIRUSES AS A WEAPON!!!" Beside him another voice yells, "THOSE PRISONERS ARE ALREADY WEAK FROM NOT HAVING ENOUGH TO EAT!!" Luffy begins his attack, "GOMU GOMU NO..." In the massive lower panel his giant foot crashes down in a HEAVY STAMP!!!, crushing multiple opponents who cry GWAAAH!! as the ground erupts and bodies fly.

A massive cross-shaped strike sends a prisoner flying with GYAAAH!! as someone shouts, "DO NOT LAY A HAND ON OUR COMRADES!!!" In the next clash a horned beast-like fighter roars while a tattooed warrior in a flowing robe delivers a devastating blow; onlookers scream "IT'S A DEMON!!!" The translator note reads "ANOTHER SUMO MOVE." The warrior follows up with a powerful YORI-KIRI!!! technique while a masked fighter on the side panel mutters "KAPPA STYLE..." More bodies tumble amid swirling dust and impact lines.

CLANK rings out as chains shatter. A stern-faced prisoner urges, "USE THESE, FRIENDS OF LUFFY-DONO!! I AM SURE THAT ONE OF THEM WILL FREE YOU FROM YOUR CUFFS!!" Nearby a wild-eyed fighter bellows "LIGHTNING SHURIKEN!!" while another screams UWAAAH!!! Two bandaged figures laugh "FA FA... FA FA." A goggled man with a stern expression watches silently. Below, a distant group fires weapons as a voice commands "FIRE THE EXCITEMENT BULLETS!!!" and prisoners cry GYAAAH!! amid flying bullets and HOP! sound effects.

Luffy grimaces, "DAMMIT, THEY'RE ONLY AIMING AT THE PRISONERS!!" Infected fighters panic as the disease spreads: "WAAAH!! DON'T GET CLOSE TO HIM!!" "HELP ME!! IT'S SPREADING!!" "I FEEL SO HOT!!" One victim shouts "I GOT HIT...!!" while another groans "DAMN UGH!!" A close-up panel explains the plague: "AND AN UNBEARABLE PAIN AS IF YOUR BODY IS ON FIRE!! BLOOD COMES SPURTING RIGHT OUT...!!!! IT CAUSES A HIGH FEVER THAT SPROUTS FROM AREA OF INFECTION...!!!" Luffy stares in horror as an infected man cries "AAAAAAAH!!!" A masked figure notes, "OH, THAT'S RIGHT... I FORGOT TO TELL YOU THE NAME OF THAT INFECTIOUS DISEASE..." while another infected prisoner wails "IT'S SO HOOOOOT!!!"

In the chaos of the Prisoner Mine, a massive Beast Pirate roars orders: "THE REST OF YOU, CHARGE AT THEM AS WELL!! DO YOU WANT TO BE BRANDED AS A REBEL!!I" Nearby allies warn that the prisoners of Udon remain enemies. Infected fighters collapse as walking human weapons, their bodies withering on contact. A voice declares, "CHARGE!! YOU'RE NOW ALL..." while another shouts, "ANYONE THAT TOUCHES THEM WILL BE FORCED TO SUFFER AS WELL...!!!" and "NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY THRASH AROUND... THEY WILL CONTINUE TO SUFFER..." The battlefield fills with dried, plant-like corpses. "THEY'RE ALL DRIED UP NOW, LIKE WITHERED PLANTS!!" someone cries. "LOOK!! THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO ARE INFECTED!!" Luffy stares in horror as the narration reveals, "THE MYSTERIOUS DISEASE... THE 'MUMMY' VIRUS!!!" and "IT'S ONE OF MASTER QUEEN'S GREATEST CREATIONS..."

Luffy lies on the ground, bruised and wide-eyed, as a cloaked figure with a sword on their back stands amid smoke and rubble. "IF YOU GUYS HAD NOT COME HERE... NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED...!!" the figure says. A masked woman pleads, "PLEASE... LEAVE THIS PLACE...!!" She continues gravely, "YOU STILL WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WIN...!!...KAIDO... THAT GIGANTIC FLYING DRAGON... WITH HIM AROUND, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO DEFEAT THE BEASTS PIRATES...!!!" Another voice adds, "THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE DIED 20 YEARS AGO... EVEN IF THE LOT OF YOU... ARE TRULY SAMURAI OF THE RED SCABBARDS..." The scene widens to show devastated ruins. "THIS IS THE DEVASTATION THAT HAS BEEN BROUGHT UPON US...!!" a voice laments. "LOOK AT THIS OVERWHELMING POWER...!! CREATED BY JUST ONE OF HIS SUBORDINATES... LOOK AROUND YOU...!! WITH JUST A SINGLE WEAPON..."

Luffy grimaces as voices blame the outsiders: "WE WOULD HAVE CONTINUED OUR NORMAL DAILY LIVES... WE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN SUBJECTED TO THIS... PRECISELY!! IF YOU OUTSIDERS NEVER CAME HERE..." Luffy reaches toward an infected body. "SPREAD... BLOTCH..." reads the sound effect as contact is made. A panicked woman screams, "NO!! YOU MUST NOT TOUCH THEM, LUFFY-TARO...!!!" Luffy recoils with a shocked "HUH!I" A powerful voice cuts through the dust: "STOP RIGHT THERE, ALL OF YOU!!!" as a massive figure blocks the path with a long weapon, sending everyone flying amid impact lines and debris.

Luffy's face fills the panel in fury as he growls, "...WHAT 'DEVASTATION'...!I" and "HAS NO EFFECT AT ALL!!!" while others yell, "WHAT YOU ARE DOING, SIR LUFFY-TARO!!!I" "FOOL!!!" and "HE TOUCHED US ALL ON HIS OWN...!!I" A close-up shows Luffy baring his teeth, declaring, "SOMETHING LIKE THIS... WHAT 'OVERWHELMING POWER'...I" In the ruined landscape, a voice insists, "BUT YOU GUYS... HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY BROKEN... ALL THE SAMURAI THAT I'VE MET ARE INCREDIBLY STRONG..." Another shouts desperately, "DON'T LIE!! GET AWAY FROM THEM RIGHT NOW, LUFFY!!!"

A prisoner shouts in frustration, "IS DOING EVERY LITTLE THING THEY SAY... AND RECEIVING DANGO AS A 'REWARD' WHAT YOU WOULD CALL 'NORMAL'!I" Another voice adds, "THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A 'NORMAL DAILY LIFE'!I" Luffy erupts in the center panel, "YOU'RE ALL JUST SLAVES!!!" with a massive impact SFX ビカーン and swirling smoke as he declares, "WAKE UP ALREADY!!!" Prisoners tumble in the chaos. In the lower panels a young girl with pigtails peeks out and says, "LOOKS LIKE BIG BRO AND THE OTHERS ARE SAFE..." while a small dragon-like creature beside her wonders, "IS HE!I HE LOOKS KIND OF SICK..." A large muscular prisoner stares in shock with "......!!!" as debris flies.

Luffy stands with his back to the viewer, shouting, "ARE OUTSIDERS NOT ALLOWED TO PROTECT THIS COUNTRY!!!I" A prisoner retorts, "WHO CARES IF I'M AN OUTSIDER!I" while another wonders, "DOES THAT GUY HAVE A SCREW LOOSE OR SOMETHING...!I" Luffy's intense close-up follows: "I MADE A PROMISE..." In the wide lower panel he continues, "I TOLD HER I'D MAKE SURE NOBODY WOULD HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT FOOD IN THIS COUNTRY EVER AGAIN!!!" with a large SFX ベン as he points toward a distant burning castle, adding, "...TO MY FRIEND, TAMA, IN KURI... WHO GAVE ME FOOD!!" Prisoners watch from the rubble.

Luffy's face fills the frame as he promises, "IT'LL BE A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN EAT UNTIL YOU'RE FULL EVERY DAY!!" and "I'LL MAKE SURE THAT BY THE TIME WE LEAVE THIS COUNTRY..." while the young girl watches with wide eyes. Prisoners discuss in the background: "HE SOUNDS LIKE HE WAS AN AMAZING GUY!! BUT WHEN HE WAS KILLED BY KAIDOU 20 YEARS AGO..." "I'VE HEARD ALL ABOUT ODEN!!" "THIS COUNTRY STOPPED MOVING, RIGHT!I" and "IF I FAIL TO DO THAT, THIS PLACE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A LIVING HELL!!" The page ends on Luffy's roaring close-up, "TO DEFEAT KAIDOU!!! WE'RE HERE..." with sweat and motion lines exploding outward.

Luffy addresses the crowd, "...SO MAKE UP YOUR MINDS RIGHT NOW!! WILL YOU FOLLOW US... OR KAIDOU!I" while a prisoner yells, "IT MAKES NO SENSE FOR POSSIBLE ALLIES TO STAND IN THE WAY OF THAT!!" An elderly prisoner with glasses shouts, "HE HAS GRIPPED THEIR WAVERING HEARTS... WHAT AMAZING LEADERSHIP!!" Another asks, "WILL YOU STILL GIVE US ANOTHER CHANCE...!I" A stern prisoner demands, "...ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS...I" In the final panels a round prisoner fires an "Excitement Shell" with SFX ぱしっ！ and PAO!, declaring, "...THIS IS THE EXCITEMENT SHELL!!" while an ally warns, "THIS IS BAD. HE'S PULLING ON THEIR HEARTSTRINGS..." and notes the 200-times virus effect as the crowd reacts.

A fish-like prisoner stares in shock, "HUH!I" as a massive horned figure in spotted armor raises a fist, shouting "ELE-PHAAANT..." while unleashing a barrage of strikes with loud "ゴゴゴゴ!" and "PAO PAO PA PA PA!" impacts. The fish-man gasps "AH... ACH..." in pain. Elsewhere, a wide-mouthed prisoner yells "IT'S TOO LATE!!!" with intense motion lines. Nearby allies plead "NO, PLEASE, YOU MUSTN'T!!" and "WAIT A SECOND, WARDEN!! THAT'S...!" while warning "HEY!! OLD MAID'S PLANNING TO SHOOT SOMETHING AT US!!" A cloaked figure mutters "HU... HU... I SAW A SLIGHTLY DANGEROUS FUTURE, SO..." as the horned warden twists with a loud "TWIST!" and delivers a crushing "PUMPH" blow that sends debris flying.

A massive explosion erupts with "BUGH!" and "PUGAH!!!" as Luffy is hurled back. An elderly prisoner grins widely, praising "WONDERFULLY DONE, STRAW HAT-MAN...!!! YOU HAVE BROUGHT US A VERY POWERFUL ALLY, KIN'EMON!!" A narration box states "8 DAYS BEFORE THE FINAL BATTLE... WITHOUT THE ENEMY'S KNOWLEDGE... UDON HAS BEEN CONQUERED!!" Prisoners cheer "GYAAAH!! UWOOOH!!" while others shout "WHAT A DEPENDABLE MAN...!!!" and "WAAAAR-DEN!!! MASTER OLD MAAAAAN!!!" as chaos spreads with "THUD!!" impacts.
