Explosions rock a chaotic battlefield as a massive creature looms in the background. Fish-Man soldiers clash violently with chained prisoners. A long scream echoes: "わあああああああああああ..." One warrior is hurled backward with the sound "URGH HH..." Another panel shows a spiked club wielder roaring "わおうああああああ" while striking down foes. A key is inserted into a lock with "KA-CHINK!!" Chains snap apart with "GASHA!!!" Prisoners break free amid cries of "LINH HHH!" and "AHH..." Dust and debris fly as the battle intensifies.

Confusion spreads among the fighters. Voices shout "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!!!" and "WHO UNLOCKED THE CHAINS ON THE SLAVESI!" Others yell "OUR CHAINS CAME OFF!!" A massive impact sends bodies flying with "AGHHH!!" In the midst of the chaos stands a woman with long black hair and sunglasses. She calmly holds up a set of broken shackles. She smiles and says, "I CAN'T TURN DOWN A REQUEST FROM A HANDSOME MAN." A voice replies, "WAS IT YOU WHO DID THISI! WHY DID YOU SAVE USI!" She answers, "THANK BOSS JIMBEI, NOT ME."

The woman activates her power, shouting "Cuerpo Fleur!!" Multiple arms sprout and strike an enemy with "NYUUUU" and "GA-HAHH!" The attacker yells "HAMO-HAMO!! I GOT YOU GOOD!!!" and "OH, YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THAT!!!" A fish-man warrior is sent flying. Another combatant growls "HMI" while dodging. The woman is grabbed from behind as voices cry "HUHI! GET OFF ME!! WHO THE HELL ARE YOUI!" and "WHOAAAI! WHEN DID YOU GET BACK THEREI!" She struggles, saying "THIS WILL BE OVER QUICKLY. JUST HOLD STILL..." while enemies shout "HEY!!!" and "WHY... WHY ARE THERE TWO OF YOUI!"

A massive impact rocks the scene as a powerful figure executes a devastating hold. "GUOO OOOOH HHH!!!" A voice roars amid the chaos. The attacker declares, "Double Clutch!!!" Below, human slaves clash violently with fish-men. "THE HUMAN SLAVES ARE RUNNING WILD!!!" one yells. Another retorts, "YOU FISHY BASTARDS AIN'T NO TOUGHER THAN US ON DRY LAND!!!" A cloaked figure stands over a fallen opponent, stating, "WE OWE YOU BIG TIME, LADY... AND YOU... YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO US...!" Panic erupts as someone screams, "AHHHH!! HAMMOND-SAAAN!!!" A voice cries out, "THAT WOMAN!!!"

Brook scans the area, thinking, "I SEEM TO HAVE LOST SIGHT OF HIM!!" and notes, "THAT INTERESTING FELLOW!" He reacts with surprise, "WHAT'S THISI!" and "HMMI!" as an enemy appears. The foe shouts, "CAMOUFLAGE CARPET!!!" while taunting, "I'M RIGHT HERE, YOU FOOL... HEH EHEHEH... BUT BY THE TIME YOU REALISE, YOU'LL BE LONG DEAD!!!" Brook is struck hard, crying out, "AAAA GHHHH HHHH!!!" as an unseen voice declares, "I HEARD A VOICE COMING FROM AROUND HERE!!!"

The striped fighter mocks Brook, saying, "THINK WHAT YOU *COUGH* - FOR YOUR DEFLGH - *COUGH* - YOUR DEFEAT IS IMMINENT!!! FOOLISH INDIVIDUAL!!!" and "YES, YES, I STABBED YOU. SOON ENOUGH, IT WILL RUST AWAY AND BECOME COMPLETELY WORTHLESS - *COUGH*...!!! DID YOU SEE THAT, SKELETONI! YOUR BLADE HAS FALLEN FOUL OF MY DEADLY 'BODY SWORD CRUSH' ATTACK...!" Brook counters with a fierce strike, yelling, "AHHHH HH...!!!" and "KAMIGAKURE FLAIL!!!" The attack lands as "66 NECK!!!" and "PWWRRSHKK!!" echo. Brook reflects, "OVER THESE PAST TWO YEARS... I HAVE COME TO UNDERSTAND... THE TRUE POWER OF THE YOMI YOMI NO MI...!!!" while enduring pain, "AAA AAAR GHHH HH!!!"

Brook explains his ability: "THROUGH MY MUSIC, I CAN TOUCH THE SOULS OF OTHERS WITH THIS ENERGY, DRAWING THEM INTO MY WORLD AND EVEN BEWITCHING THEIR SENSES!!!" and "...BY PRODUCING A UNIQUE AND POWERFUL ENERGY THAT IS ALMOST PHYSICAL IN FORM!" He continues, "IT REMAINS HERE IN THIS WORLD, ALLOWING ME TO LIVE ON... THOUGH MY SPIRIT HAS PARTED FROM MY BODY AND NOW BELONGS TO THE AFTER-LIFE..." An opponent retorts, "I THINK NOT!" Brook asserts, "I AM VICTORIOUS!!! A MEMBER OF THE STRAW HAT PIRATES HAS FALLEN BEFORE ME!!!" and "EVEN IF I LEAVE MY BODY BEHIND, I REMAIN VISIBLE TO OTHERS AS A DISTINCT ENTITY..." He adds, "YES, THE POWER THAT HOLDS ME IN THIS WORLD......IS NOT ORGANS NOR TENDONS NOR MUSCLES......BUT MY VERY..." as the enemy screams, "WHOO OOOOO OAAAAA AAA!!!" and Brook finishes with a powerful note, "...SOO OOOOO OOOOO OUL!!!"

The skeletal swordsman declares, "...NO ATTACK HAS ANY EFFECT UPON MY SKELETAL FORM!!" and "AS LONG AS MY BONES THEMSELVES ARE NOT SHATTERED..." while his afro sways. He continues, "TIME AND NOW IT IS TIME YOU LEARNED THE NAME OF MY BLADE, HONED TO PERFECTION BY TENAGA WORKMANSHIP..." as he clashes blades with the striped opponent. The striped fighter yells, "WHOOO OOOOOO AAAAA!! YEAH!" and "WH... WHOO OOOOOO AAAA... I FEEL SO PUMPED..." The skeletal warrior leaps forward shouting "SOUL SOLID!!!" and strikes with his glowing blade, proclaiming "WITNESS THE TERROR OF MY ICY BLADE!!!" and "EACH STRIKE IS IMBUED WITH MY SOUL'S OWN ENERGY, INFLICTING UPON ITS VICTIMS THE CHILL OF THE UNDERWORLD!" The striped fighter reels back, screaming "AHHHHH!! SO... SO COLD!!" as frost spreads across the impact.

The long-nosed sniper grins and declares, "ALL MY CREWMATES HAVE GAINED THE SKILLS TO MAKE IT IN THE NEW WORLD AHEAD... TIME TO SHOW THAT I'M NO DIFFERENT!!" and "TALK ABOUT A TOUGH ACT TO FOLLOW...!!!" He faces a massive shark-like creature and yells "HIDARUMA CUTTER!!!" while launching fiery attacks. The shark fighter taunts, "DON'T WORRY, I'LL MAKE SURE THEY'RE ALL NICE AND SAFE... IN TINY PIECES ACROSS THE SEA BED!!" and "AWWW, YOU WORRYING ABOUT YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS NOWI! KYAKKYAH!!" The sniper counters with "TAKE THIS!!!" as explosions erupt. The shark reels, shouting "WHOAA, THAT'S HOT!!!" while the sniper presses the assault amid smoke and debris.

I'M STARTING TO GET THE FEELING... YOU'RE THE WEAK LINK IN THIS CREW!!" and "NOT ONE OF YOUR USELESS SHOTS HAS PUT A SCRATCH ON ME YET!!" The sniper aims his slingshot, stating "...AND IT WILL ALL BE OVER FOR YOU!!" and "ONE MOVE... TWO MOVES... THREE MOVES... ON THE THIRD MOVE, MY SHOT WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN..." The shark sneers, "...WHAT NONSENSE ARE YOU BABBLING, HUH...I!" and "...THE BORING PART'S OVER, ALL MY TRAPS ARE LAID." In close-up the sniper reflects, "ONCE UPON A TIME, I USED TO SCARE OPPONENTS OFF WITH MY OUTRAGEOUS CLAIMS ALONE... YOU KNOW, I REALLY HAVE LOST MY TOUCH. BUT NOW, I FIND MYSELF FOLLOWING THROUGH!!!" The shark roars back, "QUIT DREAMING, YOU MORON!!! YOU'RE NOTHING MORE THAN A PUNY WEAKLING!!! WHO'RE YOU TRYING TO FOOLI!"

A guard yells, "WHAT IS THE CURRENT SITUATION WITH THE NOAH, THE PRINCESS AND THE PRINCESI!" Another replies, "I AM WITH HIS MAJESTY RIGHT NOW, JUST AT THE EDGE OF THE PLAZA!!" The Minister reacts in shock, "WHATI!!" as chaos spreads across the underwater city.

Below, a stern figure questions him: "WHAT IN THE WORLD DID THE HUMANS DO TO YOU, HODY JONES, TO DRIVE YOU TO THISI!" while another voice asks "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, HODY JONES, TO DRIVE YOU TO THISI!".
