Complete Loss of Face

The Ocean Forest. A few minutes earlier... Whales and fishes are swimming away from the forest. A blonde girl in a star-patterned top asks, '...What do you meanI' A small fish-man replies, 'Nyuuu... I'm sure Jimbei-san and the Strawhats would defeat Hody easily enough...' The girl continues, 'I think this must be... exactly what Boss was afraid of...!!!' The small fish-man adds, 'But I can't see Hody giving in so easily...!!!' A large man in a black hat and pearl necklace declares, '...This is no ordinary phenomenon... Something must be happening on the island...!!!'

An urgent message from the Minister of the Left blares: 'ALL ISLAND CITIZENS ARE TO BE EVACUATED FROM THE ISLAND!!' Citizens panic as the view shows Fish-Man Island and Coral Hill. Voices cry, 'If by any chance that thing were to come crashing into the island again...!!! It would be a complete disaster!!!' '...There's no doubting that was the Noah that almost crushed our island just now!!!' 'I don't understand what's going on...' A voice reports, 'Apparently it was Princess Shirahoshi that stopped the Noah from crashing into the island just now!!!' The large man shouts 'WHATI!!' Others yell, 'I've got word direct from the plaza...', 'Everybody get out into the open water!!', 'We should do as the Minister says!!'

In Water-Wheel Town, panicked citizens shout about the crisis. "That twisted stalker!! Is there anything he won't doI!" one yells. Another points upward, "That's what they're saying." A third exclaims, "You mean Decken was behind thisI!" The sign for Coral Apartments stands nearby. Below, the evacuation begins in earnest. "We can't just run away and save our own hides!!!" someone cries. "Is it true that Shirahoshi drew the danger away all on her ownI!" another asks. A large speech bubble commands, "EVERYBODY EVACUATE!!" while a worried voice wonders, "Who knows when that ship might come hurtling back towards the islandI!" Citizens flee through the coral structures as the panic spreads. "EVERYBODY EVACUATE THE ISLAND!!!" echoes again. In a close group, a fish-man growls at the princess, "I hope you're not planning to waste that time doing nothing to help!!!" while another declares, "Our princess willingly placed her own life in mortal danger to buy us this time!!!" Shirahoshi looks on with concern as the crowd reacts with screams and "AHH HH..."

High above the clouds, a long-haired mermaid calls down, "ARE YOU ALL RIGHTI!" while fish-men shout, "YOUR MAJESTY!!" King Neptune stands amid the chaos. Citizens discuss the falling ship: "That ship beginning to move was one thing I could never have foreseen... Curse that madman Decken!" Neptune replies, "INDEED!" A fish-man asks, "Did you witness the Noah...I" Neptune answers, "No matter. I must offer my sincerest apologies!! It shames me to have failed to aid you at a time like this...!" He adds, "If it had collided with the island and the princess, then that truly would have been the end of everything." The evacuation order continues as a mermaid urges, "YOU MUST LEAVE AS WELL, YOUR MAJESTY!!!" Neptune agrees, "YES... VERY GOOD..." A large panel shows him shouting, "FOR THE MOMENT, WE HAVE ISSUED AN EMERGENCY ORDER FOR ALL CITIZENS TO EVACUATE THE ISLAND. THIS WAS ALL SO SUDDEN, WE HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING TO REACT..."

Neptune declares, "I WILL AWAIT THE PRINCES." A small bubble replies, "NO..." Suddenly the scene erupts into violence. A massive fish-man-like figure with horns and a trident roars with wild sound effects "わああああああああ" as soldiers react in shock, "WHAT IN THE WORLD...I" and "!!" The ground shakes with impact lines and debris. In the lower section, a giant creature crashes down amid the coral ruins, sending up massive clouds of dust and rubble. Panicked voices cry out, "WHAT IS GOING ON HEREI!" "WHERE DID ALL THESE PIRATES COME FROMI!" and "I NEED EXPLANATIONS!!" Citizens and guards scatter as the destruction spreads across the landscape.

The rampage continues with massive fish-like creatures and a horned attacker thrashing through the ruins, sound effects "わああああ" filling the air as bystanders flee in terror. In the next panel, a striped figure points a sword while a chained man in a crown and floral shirt stands nearby. A bubble states, "THE STRAW HAT PIRATES..." Below, the chaos peaks as a voice shouts "JINBE...!!!" amid swirling dust and debris. The horned attacker continues his rampage on the right while the central figures react to the sudden arrival of the Straw Hats and Jinbe.

King Neptune roars with fury, "VERY WELL!! I HAVE GRASPED THE CURRENT SITUATION!!" Below him, his ministers react in shock: "I SEE, I SEE...!!" "AND DECKEN...!!" "AND HODY..." "SO THE PRINCESS...I" Neptune continues, "AFTER POINTING FALSE ACCUSATIONS AT THESE PEOPLE AND FORCING THEM TO PROTECT THIS COUNTRY IN OUR PLACE, WHAT DIGNITY HAVE WE LEFT TO PROTECTI!" He commands, "WITH THEIR MEN TAKING CARE OF THE MORE POWERFUL ENEMIES, ALL THAT REMAINS IS A RABBLE OF RUFFIANS!!! LEND YOUR AID TO JIMBEI AND THE STRAW HATS!! ALL MEN, INTO THE PLAZA!!" Neptune's soldiers charge forward in formation as massive sound effects echo across the battlefield. In the lower panels Neptune orders, "AND ALL CIVILIAN OBSERVERS ARE TO LEAVE THIS PLACE IMMEDIATELY AND EVACUATE THE ISLAND!!!" His troops salute and reply, "YES, SIR!!" "THE LEAST WE CAN DO IS TO OFFER THEM OUR FULL MILITARY SUPPORT!!!"

The crowd erupts in protest. A fish-man yells, "WE CAN'T JUST TURN AROUND AND RUN AWAY!! EVEN THOSE HUMAN PIRATES, THE STRAW HATS, ARE FIGHTING TO PROTECT OUR ISLAND..." Another voice cries, "WHAT IS THISI! WOMEN AND CHILDREN ESPECIALLY MUST HURRY TO SAFETY!! QUICKLY, NOW!!" "I DON'T WANNA!!!" Neptune's ministers shout back, "...THIS IS NO TIME TO BE STARING IN ADMIRATION, MEN!! GET DOWN INTO THE PLAZA AND FIGHT!!" "YES SIR!!" "SAME HERE, MINISTER!!" "ME TOO!!" One minister adds, "THOUGH THERE MAY BE NOTHING I CAN DO TO HELP, I WILL AT LEAST REMAIN HERE AND SHARE THEIR FATE!!" "I QUITE AGREE. WE ARE THE ONES WHO BEGGED THEM FOR HELP!!" Neptune bellows from his throne, "AND IF YOU CHOOSE TO STAY REGARDLESS, THEN ON YOUR OWN HEADS BE IT!!! EACH INDIVIDUAL MUST BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAD FOR SAFETY!! ENSURE THAT EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD IN THIS PLACE HAS HEARD MY CALL TO EVACUATE! I ENTRUST YOU THE TASK OF RELAYING MY WORDS!!"

Chaos erupts as Neptune's army opens fire. A soldier shouts, "SHOOT 'EM DOWN!!!" Another yells, "THAT'S THE NEPTUNE ARMY!! WE CAN TAKE CARE OF THEM!!" In the thick of battle a chained slave tank driver is ordered, "HEAD FOR THE SOLDIERS!!!" "ONWARD, SLAVE TANK!!" The massive tank barrels forward while its operators pant heavily. Below, a wounded fish-man groans, "DON'T SLOW THE PACE!! BRING IN A REPLACEMENT!!" Another asks, "WHAT HAVE WE HEREI" A defeated soldier mutters, "WORTHLESS WEAKLING..." The tank crushes through debris as the fighting intensifies.

A massive figure looms in the distance. Someone warns, "YOU JUST WAIT...!!" while another voice pants, "VNNN NNNGHH HHHH..." An observer remarks, "HOW POSITIVELY BARBARIC." Suddenly a gigantic form rises with the cry, "MEGA-NYUUDOU!!!" The enormous creature inflates dramatically as the command "PUFF UP!!!" rings out. A terrified voice screams, "WHO OOOOO AAAA!!" In the lower panels Sanji watches with a grim expression and asks, "...IS THERE EVEN ANY POINT TO THATI" Nearby fighters react in shock: "HE WAS BIG ENOUGH ALREADY!!"

A massive tiger blowfish fishman fills the panel, eyes wide as he taunts, "MPFFFF!! GNFFHHH!! HOWD'JA LIKE DAT, HUH, YOU SHOCKEDI! I'M A TIGER BLOWFISH FISHMAN, Y'KNOW!!" A tiny figure stands far below. A voice replies calmly, "NOT REALLY... AND WHY'RE YOU TALKING SO FASTI" "YOU TOTALLY SCAREDII" Sanji appears in close-up, cigarette in mouth, reacting sharply, "WHATI! THE KRAKEN'S STILL BIGGER, YOU KNOW." The blowfish fishman squeezes his mouth shut, explaining, "'CAUSE IF I KEEP MY MOUTH OPEN TOO LONG ALL THE AIR'LL COME OUT!!" In a vast splash panel the enormous creature surges forward as Den yells, "DEN HOW ABOUT NOWI!!!" Panic erupts below with screams of "AAA HHHH HHH!!" "HE'LL CRUSH US ALL!!" "MOVE IT!!"

Wadatsumi thrashes wildly, smashing his own allies as voices cry, "WADATSUMI-SAN!! STOP ALREADY!!" "AAAAR GHHHHH!! WAAAAIT!!" "YOU'RE CRUSHING THE GUYS ON YOUR OWN SIDE!!!" "SOME-BODY HELP!!" Den's voice echoes, "DEN HOW ABOUT..." Sanji watches with a hand to his chin, noting, "STILL NOT AS BIG AS THE KRAKEN." A fishman prisoner glares and demands, "DO YOU THINK YOU CAN FREE THE HUMAN SLAVESI!" Nico Robin stands poised, hands raised, replying to an unseen speaker, "ARE YOU SUREI THEY HAVE EVERY REASON TO RESENT YOUR PEOPLE..." Chaos continues with impact sounds and cries of "NICO ROBIN!!"

A massive fishman with swirling hair and sharp teeth declares fiercely, "I CANNOT SIT BY AND WATCH HODY'S FOUL IMITATIONS OF THE TENRYUUBITO!! IF PIRATES COME AT ME WITH WEAPONS, THEN I WILL CRUSH THEM. BUT RIGHT NOW, THOSE MEN ARE NOT EVEN HUMAN." In the background a cloaked figure receives thanks. Nico Robin adjusts her sunglasses and answers, "VERY WELL. LEAVE IT TO ME." Ikaros Much activates his technique with a burst of ink and light, shouting, "IKAROS WINGS!!!" A nearby fishman stares in disbelief, "YOU CALL THAT 'WINGS'...I" while mechanical puffs sound, "PFFRT! PFFRT! PFFRT!"

Franky is sent flying by a massive mechanical punch, yelling, "GUEH HHHH HHHH!!" as the attacker boasts, "SOUNDS MORE LIKE 'WIND' TO ME!!!" Ikaros Much's squid-ink clone is revealed. A fishman warns, "YOU CAN'T GO UNDERESTIMATING OUR -" while another notes, "TOO BAD FOR YOU-HH!! THAT WAS MY SQUID-INK CLONE!!" Franky recovers and unleashes his attack, "FRANKY... FIREBALL!!!" Ikaros screams in terror, "EEEEEK!! YOU'LL TURN ME INTO DRIED SQUID!!!" as flames and impact effects erupt across the panel.

Franky, transformed inside a massive robotic battle suit marked with a skull and the letter F, unleashes a barrage from his chest. An opponent yells, "WAIT, YOU BLEW THAT YOURSELFI!!!" as the machine fires. A voice exclaims, "THERE IT IS!! FRANKY'S TRUE ULTIMATE ATTACK!!" and "HE SHOOTS MIGHTY BALLS OF FLAME FROM HIS CHEST!!!" The foe, a fish-man with a massive hammer, counters with "HEAVY POINT!" Franky retorts, "YOU THINK YOU HAVE TIME TO BE GETTING DISTRACTED, GYABANI!!" The hammer-wielder swings hard, shouting "HEAVY GOING!!!" Franky responds with a powerful counter, "T-SHOT!!!" The impact sends the opponent flying amid explosive effects and debris.

Franky, now in a hulking furry monster form with a star-patterned cap, blocks a hammer strike bare-handed. He remarks, "I GUESS I COULD'VE PICKED A BETTER FORM TO FACE A HAMMER..." and "THE ONE FORM YOU HAD THAT LOOKED PRETTY HUMAN... AIN'T LOOKING SO HUMAN ANY MORE." Chopper watches nearby. The opponent grunts in shock, "NNGHHH...!!! HE BLOCKED MY HAMMER WITH HIS BARE HANDSI!" Franky continues, "WHEN I SEE THOSE LOVELY SMILES... I JUST WANNA SLICE 'EM UP!! UWWWWWWWWW!!!" He transforms again into an octopus-like form, declaring, "NOW, I'D RATHER BE THE KIND OF MONSTER WHO CAN HELP OUT LUFFY!" and "I USED TO WANT TO BE HUMAN... BUT THAT WAS JUST SO I COULD MAKE FRIENDS!!" Chopper replies, "I SEE..."

A swordsman with a headband faces a barrage of blades from an octopus-like fish-man opponent. The fish-man demands, "BRING ME THE MOST POWERFUL SWORDSMAN ON ALL OF FISHMAN ISLAND!!!" The swordsman counters, "AND GIVEN YOU A CHANCE TO ESCAPE FROM MY BARRIER, TOO. JUST WHEN I'D BEEN NICE..." The fish-man retorts, "...TO KEEP ME FROM GETTING BORED!!!" A massive impact sound "バキーン" erupts as swords clash violently. In close-up, the swordsman glares intensely and states, "YOU'RE NOT EVEN ENOUGH..."
