A speech bubble reads "...!!!" A penguin-masked zombie grins widely in close-up. Next, a stitched-face, bandaged man glares intensely. A wide-eyed girl with pigtails stares forward. She urgently whispers to someone nearby, "DON'T MAKE A SOUND, CHOPPER!! HOLD IT IN!!" The stitched man grunts in pain, "... UGH... UGH...!!!" while the girl exclaims in terror, "HE IS HUGE, EVEN FOR A GIANT! WHAT'S THAT... THAT GI-GIANT... CORPSE!I"

Luffy stands as a dark silhouette with arms crossed. Gecko Moria looms over a struggling shadow figure of Luffy, shouting triumphantly, "I'M YOUR NEW MASTER!!" while binding it with the command "BE STILL, STRAWHAT LUFFY'S SHADOW!!" accompanied by SFX "じた" and "ばた". Moria continues from behind, "FORGET EVERYONE YOU KNEW FROM THE PAST. ABIDE MY WILL AND BECOME MY SOLDIER!! YOU WILL LIVE AS A ZOMBIE FROM NOW ON. I'LL GIVE YOU A VOICE AND FLESH." Luffy's face appears in shock with "....!!" Moria finishes with a wide, menacing grin, "KISHISHISHI. CONTRACT COMPLETE." as Luffy's silhouette slumps with SFX "コクン...!!"

WE SHOULD HAVE BOUND CINDY-CHAN WITH THE 'PAST ERASURE' CONTRACT, TOO..." *literally: knee's plates. Hogback looms in his coat as he shouts, "...NOW, AWAKEN...!!!" A massive horned silhouette erupts with impact lines and debris, while a terrified face gasps, "THE SHADOW...!!!" Below, a blonde woman stares in shock, "!!I" as the enormous chained beast bursts free in an explosion of rubble, roaring, "FROM YOUR 500-YEAR SLEEP...!!!" with a loud "ZUU" impact.

Silhouetted hands claw desperately at stone walls amid crashing debris and motion lines reading "ズ..." and "ズズズ..." The colossal chained zombie fully awakens in the center spread, its body covered in stitches and massive chains marked "SK 900I" and a medallion reading "SHURUN," with wild hair, horns, and a gaping maw as it towers over the wreckage. In the lower panels, Hogback laughs triumphantly, "KISHISHISHI." A small girl stares wide-eyed beside a striped figure, murmuring, "Luffy's shadow..." while the beast's arm swings with sharp sound effects "カキン..." and "カキ..." A voice nearby utters, "HUH..."

Below, the enormous chained giant zombie strains and bursts its bonds amid repeated "PAKS PAKS PAKS" and heavy "ゴゴゴゴ" impacts; its skull-like chest and tattered wings shake the rubble as "!!I" escapes a nearby voice. Farther down, a tall stone tower swarms with bats while more "ゴゴゴゴ KIII! KIII! イィィィ" cries ring out. A narrow panel shows the giant's chained torso still pounding "PAKS PAKS" as a close-up of another stitched, bandaged face stares blankly.

The chained giant's fist smashes forward with "ドドドド" and "バキバキ" impacts. A terrified face screams "!!I" while a hand clutches desperately. Someone yells, "YOU CAN'T!! DON'T SCREAM!!!" as a small figure is shielded. A dragon-like zombie rears up with "バギュルルル" and "ドゴォ" roars. The top-hatted man continues shouting warnings. A wide-mouthed stitched creature laughs "シャアアアアアア..." Nearby, a girl with pigtails and goggles watches calmly. Bats flutter with "バサバサ" and "ギィィ ギィィ" cries. More stitched zombie faces grimace and roar amid continuing "ドドド" tremors and debris.

A massive, ear-splitting roar erupts across the tower as a colossal stitched giant begins to stir. GYAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! A wide-eyed zombie head jolts with ギョロッ!! shock. Below, Perona in her frilly dress clutches Kumashi the bear while a tall stitched man stands nearby. She yells, "HEY, KUMASHI!!! DON'T TELL ME YOU'VE BEEN HIDING THE PIRATES...!!!" Kumashi panics with ああああああ どこだ...!!! as the corpse beneath them twitches. "THE CORPSE IS MOV-" the stitched man shouts. "WHAT'S THAT...!!I" Three terrified faces react in the lower panels: "THE DEMON HAS AWAKENED!!!" "DID WE MAKE SOME SOUND...!!I" and "DA...DA-DA...!! DAMN IT, WE'VE BEEN FOUND OUT!!!"

The giant zombie's eyes snap open with a fierce "OH...!!!" as chains rattle violently. PAKIN!!! BEKIBEKI... BARIN!!! echoes while the beast tears free. "IT'S THE PIRATES!!! CAPTURE THEM!!!" voices cry. Absalom roars, "THAT IS MY BRIDE!! WHY WAS SHE IN THERE!I" with ガリリ sound effects. Perona and Kumashi stare in horror, murmuring "OH... OH..." In the enormous splash panel, the enormous demon Oars rips apart massive iron chains with ease amid ゴゴゴゴ and ゴゴゴ impacts. A foreground voice exclaims, "HE'S RIPPING OFF THE BIG CHAINS SO EASILY." The Straw Hats' group watches from the ground as debris flies.

Aboard the massive ship, Sanji shouts "SANJI!! FOOD....!!" as the vessel lurches violently. Someone yells "WOO-OOO!!!" while another voice wonders, "HMMI WHO IS SANJI!!!I" On the ground, a group flees at top speed. "I WON'T LET THEM GET AWAY!!!" one figure cries. Observers react in shock: "THEY RAN AWAY AT FULL SPEED!!! WHAT FAST LEGS THEY HAVE!!" "HEY!! WHERE DID THE PIRATES GO!I" Dr. Hogback's zombie creation lurches forward as a girl explains, "DR. HOGBACK'S RESTORATION OF LIFE.....!!" A running figure adds, "....!!! SO THAT'S WHAT IT WAS!! A 'ZOMBIE', I MEAN." The shadow-possessed form of Luffy's body staggers ahead while voices gasp, "HAA... HAA... WHEN THEY PUT LUFFY'S SHADOW IN... IT STARTED MOVING...!!!" "HAA...!! WHAT WAS THAT...I WHAT WAS THAT JUST NOW!I" "THAT HUGE MAN'S 'ABILITY' IS PROBABLY FROM A DEVIL'S FRUIT!!" The group races down a long corridor as sound effects echo around them.

Nami stares in realization as she pieces together the clues. "I SEE!! SO HE HAD SANJI'S SHADOW INSIDE HIM!!...AND THE SAMURAI THAT HIT US WITH THE BACK OF HIS SWORD WAS BROOK'S." She continues, "THE SANJI-KUN-LIKE PENGUIN WE MET ON THE LOWER BRIDGE... IF SO... TRY TO REMEMBER...!! THAT HUGE MONSTER'S PERSONALITY IS DEFINITELY LUFFY'S. HIS FIRST WORD WAS 'MEAT', WHICH MEANS..." Panting heavily, she gasps, "HAA". In another panel, someone declares, "CREATING ZOMBIES IS NOT A GAME!! HE'S MAKING A FOOL OUT OF PEOPLE'S LIVES!!! WHAT IS HUMANITY'S DREAM...I WHAT IS THE CURE FOR DEATH!I" Chopper reacts with shock, "CHOPPER...I" while a voice growls, "GII...!!" Usopp shouts in fury, "OUR NAKAMA ARE ABOUT TO BECOME VICTIMS OF THOSE WANNABE ZOMBIES!! THERE'S NO TIME TO BE SAD ABOUT THAT...!!!" Nami glares, "DR. HOGBACK IS A GREAT MAN!! I RESPECT HIM!!" as Chopper cries out, "CHOPPER...!!" Usopp finishes, "HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT SAVING PEOPLE!!! HE IS JUST A VILLAIN!!!"

The group races up the grand staircase inside the massive stone building. A voice recalls, "HE SAID, 'GO THROW HIM ONTO THE SHIP.'" Nami wonders, "I WONDER IF HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THOUSAND SUNNY." Someone urges, "TO WHERE LUFFY'S REAL BODY IS BEING TAKEN!! LET'S HURRY... US!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!I THE ONES WHO MUST SAVE THEM..." Usopp yells, "NEED OUR HELP...!!!!" Nami adds, "...REALLY, THEY... THEN THEY'RE PROBABLY ALL IN THE SAME PLACE...!! IF ZORO AND SANJI MET THE SAME FATE..." A massive explosion erupts with the sound effect "ドゴゴゴゴ" as debris and smoke blast outward. Nami stands amid the chaos, reacting with shock, "!!I" while impact lines and rubble fly everywhere.

A beast-like creature snarls and bites down hard. "GA...!!!!" It lets out a pained "BUHA..." as it recoils. Nami stares in shock, sweat flying, "HUH!I" The creature clamps onto her arm. "IT HURTS!! LET GO OF ME!!!" Nami yells desperately toward the distance, "USOPP, CHOPPER!!!" A large man in a top hat and long coat stands holding Nami tightly. "SHALL WE SAY FAREWELLI" he asks calmly. The beast growls nearby. "THIS WOMAN WILL BE MARRIED TO ME TODAY," the man declares. An unseen voice reacts in awe, "WHAT STRENGTH... HE HAS...!!!"

Usopp shouts while firing, "WOOO!! USOPP, THAT WEAPON!!" The cloaked figure swings a weapon, "GACHI!!" A voice taunts, "HAA... MORON! IF I CAN'T PROTECT EVEN ONE GIRL... THE MAN USOPP HAS NO VALUE IN LIFE!!" Usopp unleashes his attack, "SIX VIPER STAR"!!! The impact explodes across the scene with "SNKK!!" "WHAT'S THAT...!I ANOTHER STRONG SCENT IS MASKING HER SCENT!!" Two armored figures stand guard at the base. The black rider is suddenly struck from the side in a massive impact, "WOAH!!!" as a huge armored zombie swings a weapon. "... WHERE IS THAT VOICE COMING FROMI" one armored figure asks. "ZOMBIES... I LEAVE THE REST TO YOU." "CAPTURE THOSE TWO AND BRING THEM TO MORIA-SAMA!!" the other commands, hands raised. Dramatic impact lines and debris fill the clash panel.

Chaos erupts as more zombies swarm the stone halls. "WHAAA, THERE ARE PAINTING ZOMBIES, TOO!!!" "WE'LL BE CAUGHT!! AND THEN OUR SHADOWS WILL BE TAKEN TOO." A massive struggle breaks out with grotesque zombies grabbing at two figures. "GYAAA AAAAAA AAAAA!!!" "DAMN IT, LET GO OF ME...!!!! DAMN IT!!!" "WE CAN'T LET OURSELVES BE CAUGHT...!!!" "DAMN IT!!! THAT'S DIRTY!!! YOU RELY TOO MUCH ON YOUR IMMORTALITY!!!" One zombie taunts, "YOU JUST NEED TO GIVE US YOUR SHADOW, BIG BRO." "GEHIHI HIHI!!!" A stitched-face zombie yells, "... GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF MY FRIENDS!!! THEY ARE LIKE MY LITTLE BROTHERS!!!" while another screams "HAU!! HAU!!!" amid flying debris and motion lines.

Panic erupts across the battlefield as rotting figures collapse and allies are suddenly purified. "AH...", "WHO ARE THOSE GUYS!! THIS IS ROTTING BAD!!!", "WHAT'S THAT!I OUR FRIENDS ARE BEING PURIFIED!!!", and "HEY!! THERE'S SOMEONE THERE!!!" ring out amid the chaos. In the center, Nico Robin stands calmly while a massive Franky looms overhead, roaring "VIG VLOOOOOO!!! (BIG BROOOOOOO)" as he swings his massive arms. Someone screams "ROBIIIIIIIN!!!!" from the side. Below, Robin turns toward Franky with a concerned expression and asks, "ARE YOU INJUREDI" Franky, bruised and glaring, replies, "CHOPPER. USOPP. SO WE DIDN'T GET HERE IN TIME, HUHI THERE'S ONE MISSING." Impact lines and debris fill the scene as the purification continues around them.
