Resurrection

A flashback shows young Tom speaking with his pupils. One pupil says, "TOM-SAN..." Tom replies, "YEAH." Another adds, "IT'LL BE FUN... LET'S HAVE DRINKS SOMEDAY." Tom encourages, "OF THE 'WORLD'S GREATEST SHIPWRIGHT', TOM... YOU CAN DO IT... YOU'RE THE FIRST STUDENT..." In a dramatic close-up, a determined young man with a cap and bandaged cheek declares, "I WILL CHANGE THIS TOWN!!!" A voice calls out, "TOM-SAN, I..."

A strained voice mutters from above the clouds, "DAMN... MY BODY... FEELS HOT...!!!!" Seagulls wheel through the sky as soft calls of "KUU... KUU..." drift by. Below, a massive scrapped ship slams into the shoreline with a blinding impact flash, its hull breaking apart. A lone figure stands amid the debris, thinking "...BUT I'LL LIKELY DIE LIKE THIS... I'M STILL ALIVE..." Another panel shows the same figure walking through the wreckage, declaring "IT'S A SCRAPPED... SHIP..." and "NO ONE'S HERE..." The scene shifts to a cluttered scrapyard filled with old machinery and buildings. The figure, a large man with a mechanical body, surveys the area and thinks "IT'S A REALLY... CALMING PLACE FOR ME..." with visible text noting "FIRST... I GOTTA DO SOMETHING..." and "WITH THIS USE-LESS BODY OF MINE...!!!!" A heavy "WUMP" echoes as he moves deeper into the scrap metal yard.

Four years later, the grand city of Water Seven rises with its iconic domed buildings and waterways. A large sign reads "4 YEARS LATER-" while another proclaims "GALLEY-LA COMPANY IS..." In the bustling streets, workers celebrate as one announces "ICEBURG WAS NOMINATED." A crowd cheers "THAT'S GOOD!" with signs for "GALLEY LA" and "4 DOCKS." Another voice asks "DID YOU KNOWI FOR THE NEXT MAYOR ELECTION..." The scene widens to show the lively canals and citizens, with one declaring "IF HE BECOMES THE NEXT MAYOR..." and another responding "WE'LL BE DAMN PROUD!!" A small boat glides past as the city hums with energy and "TMP..." sound effects mark the lively atmosphere.

Inside the Galley-La Company office, a woman with glasses stands before Iceburg at his desk and reports, "ICEBURG-SAN... YOU HAVE A VISITOR..." Iceburg, seated with a cigar, asks, "NMA. WHO IS ITI" In the next panel Franky sits at a desk holding a Den Den Mushi, reacting with shock: "FRANKY...!I" The woman continues, "HE'S A VERY STRANGE MAN... SO WE STOPPED HIM AT THE FACTORY. HE SAID 'TELL HIM CUTTY FLAM' DO YOU KNOW HIMI" Iceburg sweats and orders, "KICK HIM OUT......!!" She replies, "YES... HE'S NOT VERY WELL DRESSED... AND... HE'S WEARING SWIM TRUNKS..." Iceburg exclaims, "DID HE REALLY SAY THAT...!I!I" She offers, "WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO ESCORT HIM HERE...I" Iceburg answers firmly, "NO."

Franky stands before Iceburg outside the building. Iceburg remarks, "NMA... WHAT'S WITH YOUR UNUSUAL APPEARANCE... YOU HAVE A STRANGE WAY OF MEETING PEOPLE." Franky shouts back, "SO I HAD TO FIX IT WITH SCRAP METAL AND STUFF!!!" Iceburg snaps, "SHUT UP!! MY BODY HAD BECOME USELESS." The scene shifts to a tense confrontation inside a large room. A woman stands nearby as Iceburg sits on a couch. Franky yells, "DON'T HELP OUT THE GOVERNMENT!!! THEY'RE THE GUYS WHO KILLED TOM-SAN!!!" Iceburg retorts, "YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING!!! I WONT EVER FORGIVE YOU!!!" A large impact SFX "ばんっ!!" erupts between them.

A furious man with a headband glares and shouts, "THAT GAVE THEM THE EXCUSEI!!" while another voice demands, "AND WHO MADE THE WEAPONS..." A sharp "ギロッ..." sound effect cuts through. In the next panel, Franky in his striped shirt roars at the long-haired man in the star-patterned shirt, "HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR FACE TO ME AFTER WHAT HAPPENEDI!!" The long-haired man fires back, "DON'T THINK THAT I'VE FORGIVEN YOU IN JUST 4 YEARS!!!" and "YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PLACE TO SAY ANYTHING TO ME...!!!" Franky clenches his fist in rage. In the lower panels, Franky snarls, "I NEVER WILL...!!!" The long-haired man retorts, "EVEN IF TOM-SAN FORGIVES YOU..." A distant view shows the two facing each other in a large room as the long-haired man continues, "THAT'S WHAT THE GOVERNMENT TOLD US..." Franky stares in shock, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD...!!!" The long-haired man finishes coldly, "YOU...!!!"

The long-haired man in the star shirt sits up holding a rolled blueprint, muttering, "IS THIS...I" and "ISN'T THIS THE BLUEPRINT FOR THE ANCIENT WEAPON...!!!" while another voice asks, "WHAT...I" In the wide room shot, he warns, "...IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY TARGET ME. TAKE THAT THING AND GET OFF THE ISLAND... FRANKY." A voice from the side shouts, "THROW AWAY THE NAME, CUTTY FLAM...!!!" and "THE GOVERNMENT WASN'T ABLE TO GET THIS FROM TOM-SAN..." Franky, still in his striped shirt, protests, "WAIT A MINUTE!!" The long-haired man continues, "PLUS, IF YOU GET OUT OF HERE... THE WHEREABOUTS OF THE BLUEPRINT WILL FADE AWAY. AS LONG AS YOU DON'T CALL YOURSELF THAT... THE CUTTY FLAM FROM TOM'S WORKERS IS DEAD." Franky stares in disbelief as the long-haired man concludes, "THEN THERE IS NO LINK BETWEEN YOU AND ME." Franky reacts with shock, "TAKE IT...!I"

Franky kneels before Iceburg, clutching the rolled blueprint. "WE WILL PROBABLY NEVER MEET AGAIN," he says. Iceburg replies firmly, "HEY!! ICEBURG!!" as Franky adds, "WAIT!!" A suited man stands nearby while another panel shows a close-up of the suited figure asking, "WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN TO YOU IF THEY COME AND YOU DON'T HAVE THE BLUEPRINTI" Iceburg answers, "..... THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY." In the next sequence, Franky stands with Iceburg, who declares, "TOM-SAN DID GREAT THINGS." Iceburg presses, "IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE... WOULD YOUI" Franky refuses, shouting, "I WOULDN'T HAND IT OVER TO THEM EVEN IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!!!" The suited man warns, "YOU HOLD ON TO IT, AND WHEN YOU'RE IN DANGER, JUST GIVE IT TO THEM!!!" and threatens, "DO YOU WANT TO SUFFER THE SAME FATE AS TOM-SAN!!I" Franky retorts, "IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAND IT OVER, THEN BURN IT...!!!!" Later, Iceburg states, "EVEN IF I WERE TO HOLD ON TO IT..." while Franky insists on protecting the blueprint. In the wide view of the room, Iceburg concludes, "AS LONG AS THERE IS THE DANGER THAT NICO ROBIN... HE STAKED HIS OWN LIFE TO PROTECT THAT BLUEPRINT. THAT THING IS NEEDED..... TO DEFEND AGAINST IT!! WILL RESURRECT THE EXISTING WEAPON..."

Franky glares and asks, "DOESN'T THE FACT THAT I GAVE IT TO YOU... ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONI" Iceburg questions, "DO YOU TRUST MEI" Franky grips the blueprint tightly, declaring, "WHAT IF I DECIDE TO MAKE THIS THING!!I" Iceburg responds from a distance, "I WON'T FORGIVE YOU... AND YOU PROBABLY WON'T FORGIVE ME EITHER, BUT FRANKY..." while Franky and another figure stand apart. In close-up, Iceburg says, "WE YELL AT EACH OTHER AS SOON AS WE LOOK... WE NEVER CHANGE, DO WE..." Franky stares back with a grim expression. The scene shifts to a massive close-up of Franky's tear-streaked face as he sobs, "THAT YOU'RE ALIVE.....!!!" with sweat and tears pouring down. He cries out, "I'M GLAD.....!!!" while a small panel shows the suited man reacting with ".....!!! IDIOT..." and an exclamation mark.

Iceburg stands amid rubble, eyes wide with fury as he shouts, "I'M NOT LEAVING THIS ISLAND!!!" A close-up shows his sweat-drenched face yelling "ICE-BURG!!!" while a figure in the background doorway reacts with shock. Debris flies as someone roars "SHUT UP!! I'M NOT LEAVING!!!" and another voice demands "LISTEN TO ME!!!" The scene shifts to a devastated hall where a large man in a striped outfit declares "WERE TOLD ABOUT..." while another states "THE TOM THAT WE..." Small figures stand in the distance near a collapsed form on the floor. On the far right, a character sweats heavily, muttering "FUU..." repeatedly amid the destruction.

A man in a top hat holding a pigeon speaks calmly: "AND THE TOWNSFOLK ONLY FURTHER SULLY HIS REPUTATION. IT MUST BE DIFFICULT, HAVING TO BE HIS PUPIL, CUTTY FLAM." The pigeon coos "COO COO". Another large figure adds, "HAD GENUINE SKILL, BUT WAS A VIOLENT MERMAN WITH INCREDIBLE POWER." Cutty Flam reacts violently, shouting "HEY----!!" and "I DON'T GOTTA SAY ANYTHING......" while being restrained. The top-hatted man continues, "YOUR BURDEN WAS ALREADY GREAT, HAVING DONE ALL THOSE THINGS TO THE 'WORLD GOVERNMENT', BUT BECAUSE YOU HAD BEEN CONFIRMED AS DEAD THAT DAY DUE TO THE ACCIDENT, YOUR CRIME WAS DISMISSED... BACK THEN, YOU HURT OVER 100 CITIZENS AND WORKERS. THAT'S THE KIND OF CRIMINAL YOU ARE."

In a stark white room, CP9 agents surround a kneeling figure. One agent declares, "YOU SHALL ANSWER SLOWLY... REGARDING THE WHEREABOUTS OF THE BLUEPRINT FOR PLUTON," while another states, "WE WILL ESCORT YOU TO ENIES LOBBY... AS A CRIMINAL." The captive remains silent. Elsewhere, agents report to their chief: "HE SAID HE WISHED TO SPEAK TO YOU IMMEDIATELY" and "WHEN WE TOLD OUR CHIEF ABOUT THIS INCIDENT..." The chief, a tall man with a goatee, responds via Den Den Mushi. In a bustling office, an agent named Blueno mutters, "YEAH... IT JUST CONNECTED," as the line clicks. Suddenly, chaos erupts as a long-nosed CP9 agent spills coffee, shouting, "HOT HOT HOT!! I SPILLED MY COFFEE!! HOT!!" while another yells, "CUTTY FLAM...!! ARE YOU THERE... BEEN A LONG TIME." The chief reacts with shock.

A masked, curly-haired man with a mechanical arm stands in the Enies Lobby Command Room, declaring, "I'M THE MAN WHO ARRESTED THE TOM'S WORKERS 8 YEARS AGO, AS PART OF CP5!!" He continues, "I WAS TORTURED BY MY UNDYING ANGER... BECAUSE THE CRIMINAL WHO MADE ME THIS WAY WAS DEAD." An agent reacts in disbelief: "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT... BUT IT'S HAPPY NEWS" and "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'D STILL BE ALIVE AFTER THAT INCIDENT." The man presses, "YOU DON'T REMEMBER!!I" A sign reads "ENIES LOBBY COMMAND ROOM." The large plaque at the bottom identifies him clearly: "CIPHERPOL NO.9 COMMANDER IN CHIEF, SPANDAM."

In a ruined section of Enies Lobby, two suited agents stand at attention. One replies, "YES, SIR. HURRY UP AND BRING HIM HERE!!!" with a "CLICK" sound effect. Spandam laughs wildly in the next panel, "WAHAHAHA!! I'LL BE AWAITING YOUR ARRIVAL AT ENIES LOBBY.... YOU'RE SPANDA!!!" while gesturing dramatically amid the rubble. Below, a masked, bandaged figure struggles violently as agents pin him down. He cries out, "AH.....!!!" and "H... H...W...!!!" while another agent shouts, "OOOO!!!" and "DAMMIT, LET GO, YOU...!!!" A top-hatted agent orders, "LET'S GO." The masked captive glares fiercely with a "GLARE" effect. In the final panel the masked man breaks free, shouting "HEY, WAIT!!! LET GO OF HIM!!!!" as he kicks and sends debris flying, with "GREE" and impact sounds marking the struggle.

Close-up reactions continue the confrontation. An agent says, "YOU'RE..." while another yells, "HEY!!! YOU ONLY SHINE FOR A MOMENTI!!" The masked man answers simply, "SORRY." and "AH." A partial line reads, "ONE OF THE..." In a wide splash panel the massive fortress of Enies Lobby erupts under a devastating barrage; massive shockwaves and debris fly as the structure labeled "1" and "2" is struck, with the narration bubble stating "STRAW-HATS..." and large SFX "ビュオオオオオ". The bottom panel shows the Galley-La Company Headquarters engulfed in flames and smoke, the sign clearly reading "GALLEY-LA COMPANY HEAD-QUARTERS" as explosions tear through the city streets with heavy "ゴオオオオオ" sound effects.

A wide-eyed man gasps in shock, "HUH!!!I" Nearby voices cry out in panic: "IF THERE'RE PEOPLE STILL INSIDE...!!! THEY WON'T BE SAVED!!" "THE FIRE'S NOT GOING OUT!!" "WE'RE LOSING TO THE WIND!!" Smoke and flames rage as figures struggle in the background. Suddenly a massive explosion erupts in the center of the scene, sending debris flying outward with a sharp "!!!I" reaction from onlookers. In the lower panels, a spiky-haired man shouts "A REINDEER!!!" while others stare in disbelief. A towering figure is struck amid swirling dust and impact lines marked "Z Z Z Z Z!!!" as the crowd reacts with open-mouthed surprise.

A gigantic reindeer-like figure looms amid swirling smoke and impact effects, carrying a limp body. Voices shout, "AND PAULIE-SAN!!!" and "HE'S CARRYING ICEBURG-SAN......!!!" The massive form pants heavily with repeated "HAA..." sounds. In smaller panels, a striped-shirt man exclaims, "THEN... WHAT ABOUT LUCCHI AND THE OTHERS...!!!" and "THEY WERE STILL INSIDE!!" The reindeer figure sways with motion lines labeled "SWAY" while continuing to breathe "HAA..." A close-up shows sweat and a determined expression. At the bottom, someone calls out "NAMI......!!!" as the giant reindeer presses forward through debris.

A close-up shows a bare foot and a voice pleading "HEAL HER" while another replies "NO GOOD... I HAVE TO...". The scene shifts to a wide view of fallen bodies on the ground amid smoke and debris. Government agents in dark coats marked "GOVER" stand nearby as a loud "CLATTER" sounds and an impact SFX "ドサ...." echoes. Onlookers react with shock; one long-haired figure lies motionless. In the next panels a bandaged man with a headband sweats heavily while others stare in disbelief. Voices from the crowd shout "HELP HIM TOO!! HE SAVED THEIR LIVES!!!", "HEY!! WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE REINDEERI", "THEY'RE BURNT PRETTY BADLY!!!", and "H...!!! HURRY UP AND LOOK AT THEM!!!" as the injured reindeer lies smoking on the ground. The page ends with the "ONE PIECE" logo.
