A THIEF'S PHILOSOPHY

In the ruined streets of Orange Town, Nami sneaks away carrying a large, heavy sack of treasure over her shoulder. Suddenly, a loud sound effect accompanies Buggy's disembodied upper half flying through the air directly toward her. He yells, "PUT MY TREASURE DOWN!!" Nami turns in shock as she notices him. Buggy crosses his arms, holding three throwing knives in each hand, and glares fiercely. He shouts, "SINCE WHEN DID YOU THINK YOU COULD FOOL ME, NAMI!! LET ME SEND YOU PAINFULLY TO THE NETHERWORLD!!!" Nami breaks into a panicked sweat, thinking, "CRAP! HE NOTICED ME!!" In the bottom panel, Luffy watches the scene unfold with a serious, focused expression.

Buggy's upper half swoops aggressively toward Nami, who cowers and screams "GYAAAAAH!" while clutching her treasure sack. In a separate location, Luffy stands calmly beside Buggy's disembodied lower half, which is standing upright on its own. Luffy declares, "I'M NOT GIVING YOU A SINGLE THING!!" Suddenly, Buggy's face is shown in a close-up, contorted in extreme agony with sweat flying off him as he shrieks, "KUHCK!!" Nami looks bewildered, uttering, "HUH?" The bottom panel reveals the source of Buggy's pain: Luffy has delivered a brutal, direct kick to the groin of Buggy's defenseless lower half.

Buggy's upper half crashes face-first into the dirt, skidding violently along the ground as he cries out, "ARRRGHHH!!" Nami watches the crash from the background, still holding her sack. A close-up shows Buggy's face trembling and sweating in pain as he groans, "D...DAMN GOMU GOMU KID!!! DARE TO KICK MY BOTTOM HALF...!!!" Back with Luffy, he stands confidently with his hands on his hips, smiling. Behind him, Buggy's lower half lies collapsed on the ground, twitching helplessly. Luffy proudly states, "YOUR OPPONENT......IS STILL ME". Nami exhales a breath of relief, saying, "I'M ALIVE..." Luffy then turns his attention to her, yelling, "OI!! PUT THAT TREASURE DOWN AND GO SOMEWHERE SAFER!! YOU'RE GOING TO GET CHASED AGAIN OTHERWISE!!"

Buggy's upper half, lying on the ground nearby, reacts in disbelief, "Y...YOUR TREASURE..!?" In the middle panel, Nami clutches the sack tightly to her chest, shouting confidently, "OF COURSE!!! SINCE I'M A PIRATE-TREASURE THIEF AND I JUST STOLE FROM A PIRATE, I'M TELLING YOU THIS TREASURE IS MINE!!!" In the bottom panel, Luffy stands calmly, looking down at Buggy's detached lower half, which is twitching on the ground. Luffy remarks, "AH..." and "I SEE..."

In the top panel, a close-up of Buggy's face shows him furious, yelling, "WHAT NONSENSE!! THAT TREASURE'S MINE!! DO YOU THINK THAT IF YOU STEAL IT IT'S YOURS!!?" and "HOW THE HELL WERE YOU BROUGHT UP?!" In the middle panel, Nami turns her back and starts walking away with the treasure sack. In the top panel, Buggy's disembodied head screams in absolute agony, his mouth wide open and tongue sticking out as he yells, "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!" Nami cowers, clutching her treasure sack tightly to her chest and crying out, "KYAAAH...!!" Buggy shouts furiously, "STOP IT YOU IDIOT!!" In the background, Luffy is seen from behind, still holding Buggy's foot, with a silent "........." bubble. In the bottom panels, Nami's expression shifts from fear to fierce determination. She glares back and says, "THE ONE THAT'S GOT TO STOP...!" She plants her feet, stops running, and heaves the heavy treasure sack backward, preparing to swing it while panting heavily from the exertion.
