The story begins in the town of Whisky Peak. Roronoa Zoro stands in an alleyway, surrounded by the unconscious bodies of numerous defeated Baroque Works bounty hunters. He holds one of his swords, looking up with a confident smirk. On the roof of a nearby building, three figures look down at him: Igaram (Mr. 8), Mr. 9, and Miss Wednesday (Vivi). Igaram, a large man with curly hair, speaks with a stern expression. "HOW DISGRACEFUL... TO BE BEATEN TO THIS EXTENT BY A SINGLE PIRATE SWORDSMAN..." He continues, "AS PROUD MEMBERS OF BAROQUE WORKS ENTRUSTED SPECIALLY BY THE BOSS TO WATCH OVER THIS TOWN, WE HAVE A MATTER OF RESPONSIBILITY TO WORRY ABOUT." Zoro listens, unfazed by their presence.

Igaram reaches into his coat and pulls out a saxophone. Zoro watches him intently, a bead of sweat on his face, wondering what the man is doing. Igaram puts the mouthpiece to his lips and suddenly blows into it. Instead of music, the saxophone fires a rapid barrage of bullets like a machine gun. "IGARAPPA!!" Igaram shouts as he fires. Zoro's eyes widen in surprise, and he quickly leaps backward to dodge the hail of gunfire. The bullets tear up the ground and the walls of the alleyway where Zoro was just standing, creating a cloud of dust and debris. Zoro exclaims, "WHOA!" as he evades the attack.

On the roof, Miss Wednesday bites her thumb and whistles loudly. "COME GIVE ME A HAND, CARUE!" she calls out. Suddenly, a giant, yellow super spot-billed duck wearing a saddle, a striped hat, and goggles bursts out from a nearby building, crashing through the wall. "QUACK!" the duck cries. Mr. 9, standing next to Miss Wednesday, says, "LET'S GO, MISS WEDNESDAY!" She replies enthusiastically, "YES, MR. 9!" Zoro watches from below as the giant duck makes its dramatic entrance. A small caption box introduces the creature as "SUPER SPOT-BILLED DUCK CARUE".

Miss Wednesday leaps onto Carue's saddle, ready for battle. "SHOW YOUR FAMOUS SPEED THAT CAN OUTRUN EVEN A LEOPARD!" she commands the giant duck. "ALRIGHT!" However, instead of charging forward, Carue simply sits down on the ground with a dull "QUACK." Miss Wednesday is furious, yelling and pointing at the bird. "THE HELL? WHO THE HELL TOLD YOU TO SIT DOWN!?" Down in the alley, Zoro bursts into laughter at the ridiculous display. "HAHAHAHA! ARE YOU SURE YOU SHOULD BE LOOKING SOMEWHERE ELSE RIGHT NOW?" he taunts them, finding the situation highly amusing.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Mr. 9 leaps from the roof, performing a series of rapid, acrobatic flips through the air towards Zoro. "I WONDER IF YOU CAN KEEP UP WITH MY ACROBATIC FINESSE?" he boasts as he descends. He draws a metal bat and swings it powerfully at Zoro. "NEKKETSU NINE... KONJOU BAT! (Hot-Blooded Gutsy Bat!)" Zoro reacts quickly, raising one of his swords to block the heavy strike. The weapons clash with a loud clang, sparks flying from the impact. Zoro grits his teeth, holding his ground against the forceful blow.

Mr. 9 grins confidently as their weapons remain locked together. "HAHA! THESE ARE METAL BATS! BE CAREFUL NOT TO LET YOUR SWORD GET CHIPPED!" he warns Zoro. Zoro just smirks back, unconcerned. Suddenly, Zoro notices movement behind him. Miss Wednesday, now successfully riding Carue, is charging at him from the rear. "WHAT'S WRONG, TOO SCARED TO MOVE?" she taunts as she approaches rapidly. Zoro glances back, realizing he is being attacked from two sides simultaneously.

As Miss Wednesday swings her weapon, Zoro swiftly ducks and dodges out of the way, causing her attack to miss completely. He immediately turns his attention back to Mr. 9. "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ACROBATIC FINESSE?" Zoro mocks. With a swift motion, Zoro strikes Mr. 9 with the hilt of his sword, sending the bounty hunter flying backward. "AGH! GAH! NGH!" Mr. 9 grunts in pain. Mr. 9 protests, "OH I'LL SHOW IT TO YOU ALRIGHT! JUST BE SURE TO KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!" Zoro follows up by grabbing Mr. 9 and flipping him over his shoulder with immense force.

Mr. 9 crashes headfirst into a stone wall with a loud crunch, his body slumping to the ground, defeated. Zoro stands over him, looking annoyed. "ISN'T THERE ANYONE MORE COMPETENT?" he asks. Miss Wednesday, still mounted on Carue, calls out to him. "IF YOU WANT SOMEONE COMPETENT, THEN LOOK NO FURTHER! PREPARE YOURSELF, MR. BUSHIDO!" She stands up on the duck's saddle and begins a strange, swaying dance. "NOW... GAZE DEEPLY AT MY BODY... <3" The concentric circle patterns on her top seem to swirl hypnotically. "MIWAKU MEMAI DANCE!! (Captivating Dance of Dizziness!)" Zoro stares at her, his eyes widening as he gets caught in the hypnotic pattern.

Zoro stumbles, his vision blurring and his head spinning from Miss Wednesday's hypnotic dance. "UGH!" he groans, trying to shake off the dizziness. Miss Wednesday smiles triumphantly. "FUFU, <3 THAT'S A NICE BOY." She then pulls out a weapon consisting of a string of sharp, feather-like blades attached to her fingers. "NOW FOR THE FINISH... LET'S GO, CARUE! KUJAKKI SLASHER! (Peacock Slasher!)" She commands Carue to charge forward, swinging the deadly blades towards the disoriented Zoro.

Just as Miss Wednesday is about to strike, Carue suddenly panics and runs in the completely wrong direction, carrying her away from Zoro. "YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY! STOP! I'M GONNA FALL!" she screams as the duck speeds off. Zoro watches them disappear, looking utterly exasperated and disappointed. "I FEEL EMBARRASSED AT MYSELF FOR HAVING TO FIGHT THESE LOSERS..." he mutters, clutching his head. Suddenly, Igaram's voice rings out. "IGARAPPA!" He fires another barrage of bullets from his saxophone. Zoro quickly snaps back to attention and leaps out of the way as the bullets strike the ground near him.

The bullets from Igaram's saxophone blast a large hole in the ground where Zoro was standing. Igaram looks down from the roof, his expression serious. "CUTTING A HOLE TO ESCAPE BELOW... HOW FUTILE..." Zoro, having dodged the attack, sprints towards the building Igaram is standing on, preparing to counterattack. Igaram watches him approach and says ominously, "ALLOW ME TO SHOW YOU, THE TERROR OF MY TRUE STRENGTH."

Igaram reaches up to his cravat and pulls a hidden string. Suddenly, the large curls of his hair pop open, revealing that they are actually the barrels of multiple shotguns. Zoro stops in his tracks, assessing the new threat. "THAT SHOTGUN'S A REAL PROBLEM... HOW CAN I CLOSE THE GAP TO GO IN FOR THE CLOSE ATTACK...?" he thinks to himself. Just then, Mr. 9, who has recovered from his crash, leaps out from behind a corner, swinging his metal bat. "HOW DARE YOU HARM ME TO THIS EXTENT...! I SHAN'T FORGIVE YOU! BUT YOU HURT YOURSELF ON YOUR OWN. KATTOBASE SHIKOMI BAT! (Hidden Home-Run Bat!)" He swings the bat, and the tip detaches, flying towards Zoro.

The detached tip of Mr. 9's bat is connected to a strong iron wire, which wraps tightly around Zoro's left arm and one of his swords, binding him. "IRON WIRE?" Zoro says, surprised. Mr. 9 laughs victoriously. "HAHAHA! I'VE SEALED UP ONE OF YOUR ARMS! THERE YOU ARE." Suddenly, Miss Wednesday appears right next to the sleeping Luffy, holding her sharp Peacock Slasher to his throat. "EXACTLY! HAHA HAHA! I WON'T LET YOU ESCAPE!" she declares. "NOW, MR. 8! FINISH HIM OFF! TIGHTEN! MOVE EVEN A SINGLE MUSCLE, AND CONSIDER YOUR PRECIOUS FRIEND'S LIFE FORFEIT!" Zoro glares at her, realizing he is trapped.

Luffy continues to snore loudly, completely oblivious to the blade held to his throat. Zoro sweats nervously, thinking, "THAT IDIOT... YOU COULD HAVE WOKEN UP AT THE VERY LEAST BEFORE YOU BECAME A HOSTAGE." On the roof, Igaram laughs heartily. "HAHAHA! NICE, MISS WEDNESDAY! NOT ONLY CAN HE NOT ESCAPE ANYMORE, BUT HE WON'T BE ABLE TO ATTACK EITHER!" Igaram grabs the strings connected to his hair guns, preparing to fire. "PREPARE FOR FIRE! PULL! PREPARATION COMPLETE!" Zoro looks up, his eyes wide with alarm as he realizes the imminent danger.

Igaram pulls the strings, firing a massive, devastating barrage from all the shotgun barrels hidden in his hair simultaneously. "IGARAPPAPA!" he roars. Down below, Miss Wednesday screams in shock at the sheer firepower. "WHA!? AHH! WHAT IS HE, AN ACTION FIGURE!?" Reacting with lightning speed, Zoro grabs the iron wire binding his arm and violently yanks Mr. 9 towards him, pulling the bounty hunter directly into the path of Igaram's incoming bullets to use him as a human shield.

A massive explosion erupts as Igaram's barrage hits. Zoro dives out of the blast radius at the last second, dragging the unfortunate Mr. 9 with him by the wire. The force of the explosion is immense, blowing Miss Wednesday and Carue backward through the air. Smoke and debris fill the alleyway as the destructive power of Igaram's attack is unleashed.

The explosion completely obliterates the side of the building. Miss Wednesday screams, "KYAAAA!" as she is thrown by the shockwave. Amidst the chaos, Zoro leaps high into the air and lands squarely on Luffy's massive, inflated stomach. "I'LL BE BORROWING YOUR STOMACH!" Zoro yells. The rubbery stomach acts like a trampoline, bouncing Zoro high up towards the roof. Igaram looks up in absolute shock as Zoro flies towards him. "WHAT IS HE...?" Igaram stammers, unable to comprehend Zoro's maneuver.

Zoro lands gracefully on the roof directly behind Igaram, his swords drawn and ready. "FINISHED," Zoro says calmly. Igaram, realizing he has been outmaneuvered, collapses forward onto his face, defeated without Zoro even needing to strike him. Down below, Miss Wednesday looks up in stunned disbelief at the sudden turn of events. Zoro exhales a breath of relief. "WHEW."
