Luffy is sent flying backward from the impact. In close-up, a fierce fighter with a scarred face and fur collar glares and demands, "WHY DID YOU LOSE YOUR FOCUS...!I" Luffy crashes down hard with a "POP!" The scarred fighter, identified as Katakuri, mutters "MOCHI..." Nearby, a woman in a polka-dot outfit claps her hands to her cheeks and laughs triumphantly. A devastating mochi-based strike erupts across the panel with a massive "ビッグ!!" impact, prompting Luffy to scream "UWAA AHHH!!!" as he is hurled through the air.

A colossal mochi explosion erupts outward with the cry "GINCHAKU*!!" Katakuri's massive mochi arm smashes forward, sending Luffy tumbling violently across the shattered checkered floor. Translator note clarifies the technique. In the aftermath, Luffy lies battered amid rubble while Katakuri's face fills a panel, asking "WHAT'S THE MATTER, STRAW HAT...!I" Luffy struggles to rise as more mochi fists rain down around him.

Luffy pants heavily, thinking "...YOU DECIDED TO DISAPPOINT ME...!!" and "...JUST AS I BEGAN TO ACKNOWLEDGE YOU..." with visible "HUFF..." breaths. In a wide view of the ruined arena, a distant figure stands alone. A close-up of an eye observes, "I THINK I SAW IT!" An older man with glasses smiles knowingly and states, "BECOME ABLE TO SENSE IT UNCONSCIOUSLY!!" while adding "UNCONSCIOUSLY...!I" Luffy stands in the distance, replying in separate bubbles: "IS THE COLOUR OF OBSERVATION...!!! BECAUSE BEYOND THAT IMAGINATION... THAT'S FINE. OR MAYBE IT WAS JUST MY IMAGINATION...!!!"

Luffy's legs wobble violently as he stands unsteadily, marked by repeated "WOBBLE WOBBLE..." and "HUFF..." effects. Charlotte Flampe cheers with a heart symbol, "ALRIGHT." She lifts a crossbow-like weapon while commenting "PFFFFT!! WHAT'S WITH THOSE WOBBLING LEGSI" and "HE STOOD UP AGAIN!" Luffy continues wheezing with "HUFF... HUFF..." and "WHEEZE... WHEEZE..." Flampe takes aim and declares, "ONE MORE SHOT, THEN." She fires the "SWEETBREAD NEEDLE!!" projectile that streaks toward Luffy with a sharp "ズキッ!!!" impact sound.

Luffy crashes down after the attack, a massive impact cloud erupting around him. A girl with pigtails stares in shock, shouting, "HUH!I HE DODGED IT...!I THAT WAS MY SILENT NEEDLE!" Nearby, Luffy's face twists in pain as a whoosh effect marks the needle's passage. Below, spectators react wildly. "HIS LEGS WERE QUIVERING LIKE THOSE OF A NEWBORN FAWN... IT'S BE...!! BECAUSE THAT MONKEY HIS FOOTING... UFUFU," one says with hearts floating. "MISS FLAMPE! WE'RE GOING TO BE SEEN!!" another cries as a polka-dotted figure spins away. Luffy clutches his midsection, bloodied and wobbling. A young girl with long hair peeks out, exclaiming, "BIG BROTHER IS LOOKING THIS WAY." Flampe appears in close-up, hand near her mouth, declaring, "HOW LAME! EVEN THOUGH HE'S SUPER WEAK AND COVERED IN BLOOD... HE GETS UP AGAIN AND AGAIN! AND THEN HE WOBBLES HIS WAY BACK UP AGAIN! PFFFFT!! HE WOBBLES UP... THEN GETS KNOCKED BACK DOWN."

Flampe realizes the truth in a ruined hall. "I SEE, IT WAS YOU... FLAMPE..." A tall figure with a spiked weapon walks away as debris falls. Flampe, perched on a ledge, clutches her face and thinks, "AH! MASTER KATAKURI IS COMING THIS WAY! HE'S GOING TO PRAISE MEEEE! MY HEART ISN'T READY FOR THIS YET." In the rubble, Luffy lies weakened, wobbling as he tries to rise. Katakuri's voice cuts in, "THAT IN SUCH AN INTENSE BATTLE, HIS FOCUS WAS SUDDENLY BROKEN... I THOUGHT IT WAS STRANGE... YOU USED YOUR SILENT BLOWGUN... TO STOP HIM FROM MOVING, DIDN'T YOU...I" Flampe stands tall with her weapon, replying, "DO YOU THINK... THAT I WANT TO WIN LIKE THAT!!I I ATTACKED IN HIS MOMENT OF WEAKNESS AND PIERCED HIS STOMACH... I INFLICTED A FATAL WOUND!!!"

Luffy forces himself upright again amid the wreckage. "THE FAWN STOOD UP AGAIN. PFFFFFTTT!!" onlookers shout. A small bat-like creature peeks from behind a pillar, muttering, "AH." Spectators laugh, "LIKE A BABY FAWN'S...!!! HIS LEGS ARE ALL WOBBLY BOBBLY... HEY, DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!!!" Flampe appears in a large panel, posing dramatically with hearts, declaring, "I'M THE MOST THOUGHTFUL OF ALL THE YOUNGER SISTERS. I'M CUTE, RIGHTI I'M DEFINITELY THE ONE WHO WILL BE FAVOURED BY THE WORLD'S MOST PERFECT BIG BROTHER!! THAT'S RIGHT, BIG BROTHER. I DID IT." She blows a kiss, "BIG BROOOTHEE EERRRRI!" Luffy glares, asking, "...WHAT'S SO FUNNY, YOU LOT...!I" while Flampe's laughter echoes, "ぎゃははは."

Katakuri lunges forward in a powerful strike, arm extended with his weapon, a massive "ド" impact effect behind him. Luffy's eyes widen in shock, "!!I" Below, a close-up shows Katakuri's intense glare as he swings, "HACK!" Flampe watches from the side, eyes sparkling, "SPLAT!!" A small figure tumbles through the air. Luffy, bloodied and shirt torn, stares upward with a grim expression. Katakuri's voice booms, "DON'T YOU DARE..." as the scene cuts to Flampe's startled face and the aftermath of the blow.

A massive close-up shows Charlotte Katakuri's furious face as he roars, "GIVE UNWANTED SUPPORT IN A DUEL BETWEEN MEN!!!" Nearby, Charlotte Flampe screams in terror, "KYAAA AAAAAHH HHH!!!" Katakuri, breathing heavily with "HUFF... HUFF...", glares and declares, "IF YOU'RE GOING TO LAUGH AT THAT IDIOT... THEN LAUGH AT ME, TOO...!!!" The surrounding Charlotte family members panic at the sight of his scarred face, shouting "MA... MASTER KATAKURI!I YOUR FACE...! IS IT CURSED!I" and "KYAAAAAHH HHH!!! DON'T COME NEAR ME!! DON'T TOUCH ME!! MONSTER!!" as they recoil in horror.

Flampe sobs with tears streaming down her face, "SO LAME!!!!" Katakuri continues huffing while family members react in shock. One shouts, "SOMEONE LIKE YOU CAN NOT BE BIG BROTHER KATAKURI!!!" Another adds, "WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO ACHIEVE BY PIERCING YOUR OWN STOMACH...!I" and "OH, GOD, YOU'RE SO DIRTY!! THERE'S BLOOD ALL OVER YOU!!" The crowd agrees, "AGREED!! SO DISAPPOINTING...!!!" Katakuri is struck, with SFX "ベチッ!!" as Flampe yells, "STOP IT, MISS FLAMPE! WE WON'T BE ABLE TO HOLD IN OUR LAUGHTER...!!!" She spits with "PFFF...!!!" and "SPIT!!" while mocking, "YOUR MOUTH IS SPLIT ALL THE WAY UP TO YOUR EARS... YOU LOOK LIKE A PELICAN EEL!"

Spectators flee in panic, yelling "DON'T GET CLOSE TO HIM! HIS STRENGTH IS ALSO LIKE A MONSTER'S!!" and "THE PELICAN EEL IS COMING...!!!" A large man apologizes repeatedly, "EXCUSE ME, EXCUSE ME, PFFFT... PFFFT!!" while another urges, "HURRY UP AND TAKE PICTURES. WE'RE GOING TO SHOW HIS FACE TO EVERYONE!!" Flampe, riding a spotted creature, rants, "I'M EMBARRASSED TO EVEN TELL PEOPLE THAT WE'RE BLOOD-RELATED!! SO MUCH FOR YOU BEING THE PERFECT BIG BROTHER!! YOU'RE SO UNCOOL!! IT'S UNFORGIVABLE!! YOU SHOULD BOTH PREPARE FOR WHAT'S TO COME THIS TIME!!!" She threatens, "HOW DARE YOU GET YOUR DIRTY BLOOD ON ME. I'LL EXPOSE YOU TO EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY! I'LL EXPOSE YOU TO THE FAN CLUB!! TO ALL THE ISLANDS OF TOTTO LAND!! YOU TRIED TO THREATEN ME! THE POPULAR ME!!"

Katakuri is struck by a needle and sent flying backward with massive impact SFX, thinking, "NOT BEING ABLE TO DODGE IT WAS MY MISTAKE...!!!" Narration notes, "IN A DUEL BETWEEN PIRATES... THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS PLAYING DIRTY." He reflects, "IT WAS FOOLISH OF ME TO NOT NOTICE THE NEEDLE....MY APOLOGIES." In the next scene, Luffy grins widely beside the injured Katakuri, who smirks and says, "OUR SPECTATORS SURE ARE NOISY... IN ANY CASE, THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO HANDLE WHAT'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN!" with SFX "SMIRK...!"

A massive explosion rips through the checkered floor as debris flies everywhere. Someone screams GYAAA AHHH!!! while bodies tumble through the air amid heavy impacts and smoke. Katakuri stands tall, bloodied and breathing heavily, his fist dripping as he grips his weapon. A small ladybug-like creature lies nearby with DRIP DRIP... effects. In the next panels, Katakuri reels from a powerful blow, eyes wide as he realizes CONQUEROR'S HAKI...!I and THAT MONKEY CAN USE IT, TOO...!I Luffy's silhouette clashes violently in the background with KYAAAA AHHH!!! effects bursting outward.

Katakuri looms forward with a fierce glare, fists raised, declaring THINK THAT YOU'RE BELOW MY LEVEL. He adds I NO LONGER... while wheezing from exhaustion. Luffy answers with a determined glare and raised fist, shouting BUT... I'M GONNA WIN! Katakuri responds IS THAT SO!I GLAD TO HEAR IT!! THANKS! as both fighters clash with FIST VERSUS FIST IN AT ONE ON ONE!! effects. Heavy breathing and impact lines fill the intense standoff.
