WITH THEIR CAPTAIN, ROCKS, AT THE LEAD." The speaker adds, "THE GOLDEN LION. SILVER AXE. CAPTAIN JOHN. WANG ZHI. THERE ARE OTHERS FROM THE ROCKS PIRATES WHO LATER MADE NAMES FOR THEMSELVES." A crowd reacts in disbelief: "TH— THAT'S UNBELIEVABLE!" "YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING! HOW DO ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE HAIL FROM THE SAME DARK CORNER OF HISTORYI!" "YES. A narrator explains that Garp is tight-lipped about his past. "YOU'LL FIND HIM RATHER TIGHT-LIPPED ON THE SUBJECT. IF YOU ASK THE MAN HIMSELF, HOWEVER..." The scene shows a Marine ship sailing through the sea with fish swimming around. "THERE'S ALREADY SO MANY LEGENDS OF GARP'S HEROIC DEEDS, I DIDN'T KNOW WHICH TO BELIEVE... SO THAT WAS THE BEGINNING!" Sengoku continues his explanation with a serious expression. "IS BECAUSE BECOMING ONE WILL PLACE HIM SQUARELY UNDER THE THUMBS OF THE CELESTIAL DRAGONS. IN FACT, THE REASON GARP HAS CONTINUALLY REFUSED THE RANK OF ADMIRAL IS BECAUSE GARP'S MORAL CODE DOESN'T PERMIT HIM TO FULFILL THAT DUTY. AND I THOUGHT PROTECTING THE CELESTIAL DRAGONS IS THE DUTY OF THE MARINES!" HE FOUGHT ALONGSIDE THE PIRATE KINGI!" A map of God Valley is shown, marked on a grid. Sengoku states, "AND, IN REALITY, THE ENTIRE ISLAND ITSELF HAS VANISHED WITHOUT A TRACE. THE LOCATION OF THE ISLAND OF GOD VALLEY IS NO LONGER DEPICTED ON ANY MAP." The crowd murmurs in confusion. "STILL INTERESTED IN ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT ITI AN ISLAND WHOSE EXISTENCE THE WORLD GOVERNMENT DESIRED VERY MUCH TO KEEP A SECRET. HAS VANISHED." Sengoku concludes the setup: "ONCE UPON A TIME, A BUCCANEER BY THE NAME OF ROCKS SOUGHT TO BECOME THE PIRATE KING."

Sengoku sits with a goat beside him in the hall. "ONLY WHATEVER LIES SLEEPING IN THE MEMORIES OF A FEW MARINES OF MY GENERATION! BUT BECAUSE HE TOUCHED TOO MANY OF THE STONES THAT THIS WORLD WOULD RATHER BE LEFT UNTOUCHED, NO INFORMATION ABOUT THE ROCKS PIRATES REMAINS INTACT." He continues, "AND PERHAPS GREATEST ENEMY. HE WAS ROGER'S FIRST... TO THINK THAT THERE WAS ONCE A MAN THAT LED THREE OF THE PIRATES THAT WOULD BECOME YONKO... PAST OR NOT," The final revelation comes with dramatic effect: "AND WHILE HE IS NO LONGER OF THIS WORLD, HE WAS ONE OF THE PIRATES THAT ONE SEES FROM TIME TO TIME CARRYING THE NAME OF D. HE WAS NEVER CALLED BY ANY NAME OTHER THAN CAPTAIN ROCKS, BUT HIS FULL NAME WAS ROCKS D. XEBEC."
