Recognized as a Strong Enemy

Aboard a ship, several characters wake from sleep. One yawns with ZZZZZ... while another shouts IS HERE! THE BOAT WITH THE CAKE. Nami cries out EVERYONE with a worried expression. The scene shifts to the sea where a small ship carrying an enormous cake sails toward them amid dramatic speed lines and DON!! effects. Voices exclaim OOOOHH SANJI and SANJI-SAMA with hearts. Someone reports SANJI'S GROUP CAME BACK WITH THE CAKE. On the distant shore, a cloaked figure notes THEY'RE GETTING CHASED BY A LOT OF ENEMIES and HEY YOUR SHIP AND BIG MOM ARE OVER THERE. AND IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR SHIP TOOK A LOT OF DAMAGE. A close-up shows a large face sniffing SNIFF SNIFF THIS SMELLS VERY GOOD with hearts, followed by MAMAI as Big Mom's face appears with a fiery expression.

Chaos erupts on deck. A figure shouts WELL... as others yell EVERYONE GET READY amid weapon fire and impacts. A long-haired character with heart effects cries I CAME TO SAVE YOU and NAMIIII SWANN. Below, voices discuss GETTING CHASED BY BIG MOM and YOU SURVIVED VERY WELL. A striped-hatted man with a cigar growls EVEN YOUR CAPTAIN IS BUSY TOO AND PEROSPERO. Heart-filled panels show ecstatic reactions and motion lines as the crew prepares amid the ongoing chase.

On the ship, a man with a top hat states IT IS NOT AN ENEMY IT IS BEGE'S SHIP. Nami wonders aloud SOMEONE IS ON THE HELM OF THAT SHIP... I HAVE A WEIRD SENSATIONI The top-hatted man continues BUT THERE IS BEGE... THE CAKE MUST BE POISONED... while others note AS LONG AS IT TASTES JUST AS GOOD, MAMA'S CRAZE SHOULD STOP THEY REALLY MADE THE EXACT CAKE and SOMEONE IS DANCING ON THAT SHIPI A massive cake labeled AVARICE sits on a sea creature. The top-hatted man thinks SHOULD I DESTROY THAT CAKEI BUT IF I DO, NOTHING CAN STOP MAMA AND OUR WHOLE CAKE ISLAND WILL BE DOOMED. BUT IF SHE DIES FROM A POISONED CAKE THAT IS THE END OF THIS CREW AS WELL... The attack finally stops with a large impact effect and HUFF... as a furry character lands, thinking I THOUGHT THIS WAS FINALLY THE END.

On the deck, a cloaked figure and allies discuss the plan: "UNTIL MAMA EATS IT AND SHE'S FULL BUT AFTERWARDS WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT, RIGHTI" A tall man with a staff replies, "HEY BLACKLEG, WE'LL TAKE THIS CAKE FROM HERE. AS PROMISED WE WON'T TOUCH THE CAKE WITH ANYTHING FUNNY..." Sanji stands with Pudding, who urges, "SANJI-SAN ♥ WE SHOULD HURRY, IF YOU DON'T WANNA..." Nearby, a grinning ally shouts, "SHE'LL DEFINITELY STOP!" Sanji answers calmly, "DO WHATEVER, OUR JOB WAS... TO CALM DOWN BIG MOM WITH THAT CAKE." The scene shifts to open sea where the massive cake-shaped ship speeds away. A woman on the vessel yells, "LAVIAN, FULLSPEED! MAKE SURE PEROSPERO AND BAVAROIS DON'T SEE US" as another voice answers, "OKAY!" A close-up shows a fierce-eyed woman snarling, "FUCKING DIE" while the ship cuts through the waves with dramatic impact lines and a giant SFX "ビュン!!".

Big Mom's massive face fills the panels with a wild grin as she declares, "I FINALLY FOUND IT" and "OVER THERE," while a subordinate answers, "YES, MAMA." Her expression twists with fury and flames erupt around her as she roars the massive SFX "CAAAA AAAAA AKE" and the word "WEDDING" appears amid the chaos. The enormous woman charges forward with explosive speed lines and debris flying, her eyes locked on the distant target.

The cake ship changes course as narration states, "THE BOAT WITH THE CAKE CHANGED DIRECTIONS!!" Allies shout, "TOWARD LIQUOR ISLAND," "GO FAST TO THE RIGHT," and "SHE'S COMING." Mr. Perospero's candy-formed ship is visible in the background. On Bege's vessel, a skeleton-faced ally gasps, "AH!" while the ship races ahead with motion lines. Sanji and allies appear on deck; voices call out, "SANJI! PUDDING! SANJI!" Sanji lands back on the ship, declaring, "I'M BACK" as hearts and impact SFX "くん" surround him and Pudding smiles in relief.

Bege's crew reacts with shock as one man hugs a woman, SFX "HUG!!" and "!!I" filling the panel. A relieved voice cries, "IT'S A MIRACLE I THOUGHT IT WAS THE END FOR US THANK YOU!" and "SAFELY!!" while another shouts, "YOU'RE BACK!" with impact SFX "がくぅぅ!!" and "ばぁ!!". Sanji speaks with Bege: "SANJI, WHY WERE YOU ON BEGE'S SHIPI" Bege replies, "LOOKS LIKE THEY'RE HEADED SOMEWHERE" and "I LIKE YOU TOO NAMI ♥" as hearts fly. Nami watches with a worried expression. Sanji states, "I'M FINE AS LONG AS THIS SHIP IS SAFE" and "IF THEY ARE GONNA TAKE YOU WITH BIG MOM, EVEN BETTER." Narration notes the ship sailing away while characters discuss, "AFTER SHE EATS THE CAKE, SO THEY'RE GOING TO NEARBY ISLAND" and "WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO BIG MOM."

Brother Perospero asks, "BROTHER PEROS, WHAT DO YOU WANNA DOI" A skull-faced character with an afro shouts, "BOTH OF THEM! SLEEPING!! THEY GOT TIRED FROM FIGHTING AND THEY'RE SLEEPING." A small girl with pigtails stands nearby. The scene shifts to the sea where multiple ships sail toward a massive creature. "DON'T LIE, YOU TRAITOR!" The pursuit continues across the waves. "THEY MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN RID OF PUDDING ALREADY!" "WE'RE CHASING BEGE!! THEY'RE 100% PLANNING ON KILLING MAMA!" A man in a top hat yells, "RELAX AND CHASE THE STRAW HATS." "YOU... GOTCHA." "HEY HEY..." Below, Perospero confronts a striped figure: "OF COURSE, WE'RE BEHIND THEM, BROTHER." "YOU'RE FOLLOWING THEM, RIGHTI" "SMOOTHIE! ANSWER ME!" "RING RING RING." "THEY'LL RUN INTO CACAO ISLAND." "BUT BROTHER PEROS, WHAT ABOUT STRAW HATSI" A map panel shows arrows tracking Smoothie, Bege, and Big Mom across a checkered floor labeled with PEDOSPERO, BAVAROIS, BIG MOM, and SUNNY. Bege sits on a barrel declaring, "CORNER STRAW HATS' SHIP THIS WAY AND I'LL GO CHASE BEGE AND MAMA WITH BAVAROIS."

Inside a lavish room, two elegant women of the Charlotte family converse. The 16th daughter, Galette, says, "MEN'RE SO STUPID. THEY'RE IN SUCH A RUSH." Chiffon adds, "CHOCO TEA ON CACAO ISLAND. WE COULD'VE BEEN SIPPING AND WAITED FOR THEM." "YOU SHOULD'VE LEFT IT TO US IN THE FIRST PLACE." "OKAY!" A tall woman with a massive weapon labeled 14TH DAUGHTER OF THE CHARLOTTE FAMILY (3RD SWEET COMMANDER) stands confidently. Below, a close-up shows a girl shouting, "DON'T TALK LIKE THAT... EVERYONE READY TO FIGHT." "YEAHHH."

On the open sea, a skeleton-crewed ship sails forward. "YEAH, CACAO ISLAND IS PROBABLY LOADED WITH THE BUNCH OF THEM WAITING." Nami exclaims, "OUR MEETING PLACE WITH LUFFYI THEY ALREADY KNOWI" Sanji, smoking, states, "IF WE FIGHT THEIR FLEET THERE'S NO WAY WE CAN WIN." A voice notes, "THEY'RE PULLING OUT ALL THE STOPS." "IT'S RARE, BUT LOOKS LIKE THEY ACKNOWLEDGED US AS STRONG ENEMIES." Pudding appears, "YEAH, IT'S GOOD, THANKS BEGE." A massive cloud-like creature emerges with "グゴゴゴ" sound effects. "MAN, THIS IS TROUBLESOME." "IS THIS GOOD ENOUGH, CHIFFONI" "HAND IT OVER." "CHASE FASTER." The Firetank Pirates' ship presses on as narration reads, "TRYING TO GET AWAY, LET ALONE KILL BIG MOM. NO IDEA WHAT IT IS."

Big Mom Pirates cheer wildly on the deck. "YEAAAHHHHHH I LOVE THAT ABOUT YOU CHIFFON" one shouts as another declares "JUST BELEIVE IN THE CAKE. THAT CHEF'S AN AMAZING" and a third adds "WE ARE PAYING BACK A FAVOR." On the sea, a subordinate reports to Smoothie: "IT IS COMMANDER SMOOTHIE" while another warns "ANOTHER FLEET IS CHASING US." Aboard the ship, Sanji smokes with a serious glare. "I'VE THOUGHT OF ONE WAY TO GET THROUGH CACAO ISLAND," he says. Brook, Chopper, Carrot and the others listen as he continues, "WE DON'T KNOW WHERE AND WHEN LUFFY WILL COME OUT FROM CACAO ISLAND AND THERE'S NO WAY HIM OF THE DANGER OUTSIDE. WE WILL GET THERE RIGHT AROUND 1 O'CLOCK AS WE PROMISED. A LITTLE MORE THAN 3 HOURS. HOW LONG TILL CACAO ISLANDI"

A vast fleet surrounds Cacao Island under snowy mountains. Pirates argue heatedly: "EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE ROOKIES THEY SHOULDN'T BE UNDERESTIMATED" "DO YOU BELEIVE ITI THE EXPLOSION IN THE CHATEAU WAS INTENTIONAL" "OF COURSE, THIS IS NECESSARY OWEN BROTHER" "TELL THAT TO TAMAGO AND MONT-D'OR" "THERE'S NO WAY SIR KATAKURI WILL LET STRAW HAT GET AWAY" "TO LINE UP THE WHOLE CAKE ISLANDI MR. OVEN, DO WE REALLY NEED THIS MANY SHIPS" "IT WILL BE A HUGE EMBARRASSMENT IF SOMEHOW THEY WERE ABLE TO GET AWAY." Inside a grand hall, a tall figure in a cape gestures at a giant mirror. "IF STRAW HAT COMES THROUGH WE'LL EXECUTE HIM" the crowd roars "YEAH!!" The man commands, "IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BREAK THEM, YOU CAN THROW THEM IN THE OCEAN AND GET THEM BACK. EVEN VALUABLE ONESII JUST DO IT. GO AND BREAK EVERY MIRROR ON THE ISLAND."

Explosions rock the Mirror World as Luffy and Katakuri clash violently. "MIRROR WORLD LUFFY VS KATAKURI" reads the title card amid shattering glass and debris. Katakuri stands tall while Luffy is slammed into the ground. "THIS GUY'S OBSERVATION HAKI... IS GETTING CLOSER TO MINE" Katakuri notes. "THERE IS NO CHANCE" he adds as Luffy gasps for air. Close-ups show Luffy's bruised, determined face. "THE UNTHINKABLE MIGHT HAPPEN" Katakuri thinks. Luffy struggles up, bloodied and breathing hard. "IF I DON'T HURRY UP" he mutters. Katakuri's mochi attacks launch forward with heavy impact sounds as Luffy is struck repeatedly, the fight growing more desperate.

Luffy and Katakuri trade ferocious blows inside the Mirror World. Katakuri's mochi arm extends into a massive spiked weapon. "SPEAR!" he yells as the attack crashes into Luffy, sending him flying amid shattering fragments. Luffy's face twists in pain and rage. With a final desperate cry "AAAHHH" he is driven back, the chapter ending on his battered expression and the looming threat of Katakuri's power.
