A Wave Room

The Thousand Sunny is caught in a massive, swirling wave as the ship plummets, accompanied by the sound effect "WEEEEE EEEEEE". Below, Pedro weeps with regret, saying "PEDRO... I'M SO SORRY! AFTER ALL YOU DID TO KEEP US ALIVE..." A tearful Carrot cries out, "WE CAN'T! WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH COLA!" Nami shouts desperately, "YEAH! COUP DE BURST! NOW!" while a shark-toothed crewmate warns, "IF THAT THING SWALLOWS US UP, WE'RE DONE FOR!"

Big Mom's crew panics as the giant woman laughs wildly. Someone yells, "HOLD ON A MINUTE, MAMA! AT THIS RATE, YOU'RE GONNA SINK THE CAKE, TOO!" and "WAIT WAIT WAIT! STOP!" Big Mom cackles with "DDIIII IIIING" and "MAMA!" as the ship tilts violently in the churning sea. The sound effect "KEE EEEE EEE!" rings out amid the chaos.

Jinbe grips the helm, asking "I- IS THIS GOODI!" while the crew works frantically. Nami calls out, "NAMI! WHERE'S THE WINDI!" and "YEAH! THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH!" as Jinbe yanks the wheel with "YANK" and "GRIP". A crewmate protests, "YOU'RE CRAZY! HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO CONTROL THIS ENTIRE SHIP WITH JUST ONE SAIL!" Jinbe declares, "HIGH-SPEED TACKING!" and "WE'RE GOING TO THE GREEN ROOM!" Nami reacts in horror, "WHATI! YOU'RE GOING TO STEER THIS SHIPI!" while another voice notes, "A STRONG WIND SHOULD COME FROM THE SOUTH, SOON!"

A tearful crewmate sobs, "DOC-TOOOOR! LOOKS LIKE I'M FINALLY COMING FOR YOU, RIGHTI!" while another realizes, "I GET IT NOW! THE 'GREEN ROOM' IS HEAVEN, RIGHTI!" Jinbe commands, "HOLD FAST TO THE SHIP!" as the ship is pulled toward the towering wave. A desperate voice cries, "THERE'S NO WAY... YOU CAN'T SURF THIS THING! IT'S OVER..." The Sunny is engulfed in a massive, roaring wave with the sound "GYA AAA AH!" as the crew struggles against the current.

The Thousand Sunny spins violently inside a massive swirling wave. A voice declares, "WE'VE GOT A FINE SHIP AND A FINE NAVIGATOR." Another adds, "WITH THE RIGHT STEERING, THIS SHIP'S INVINCIBLE!" The crew shouts in panic: "WE'RE INSIDE THE WAVEI!" and "WAAAAA AAGGGH HHHH! WE'RE COMING OUT NOW! HOLD ON!" Nami clings to debris, wide-eyed, while Jinbe grips the wheel with intense focus. A panel explains, "THE 'GREEN ROOM' 'GREEN ROOM' IS THE SHORT-LIVED SPACE MADE INSIDE THE CREST OF A BREAKING WAVE. A WAVE ROOM!" Jinbe notes, "FISHMAN CHILDREN LOVE PLAYING IN IT."

Nami stares in awe as the ship rides the massive wave. She exclaims, "SO WE'RE NOT DYINGI! YOU'RE SO COOL, JINBE! I'VE NEVER SEEN A HELMSMAN LIKE THIS! HE'S CONTROLLING THIS SLOOP LIKE IT'S JUST AN EXTENSION OF HIMSELF! AMA-ZING..." The Sunny crests and crashes through the wave with dramatic motion lines and "Z Z Z Z Z Z Z Z Z Z Z Z" effects. Below, a grinning fishman crewmember yells, "EAT THIS, YOU ANTS!" while Perospero and others tumble, shouting "WAHAHAH! WELL, WHAT-EVER." and "KUKU KU... WEEED-DIIING" as the ship bursts free.

On the mirror-dimension side, Katakuri stands tall as voices call out, "OI, KATAKURI! WE'RE DONE OVER HERE!" and "PEROSPERO HERE!" Big Mom's ship has sunk. Brook and Carrot appear, with Carrot shouting "BROOKI! OI, NAMI!" Nami reacts in shock. Big Mom laughs, "NO NEED! SADLY, THEIR SHIP HAS SUNK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN. WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO INVADE THIS SHIP, TOO!" A mirror shatters with "KRASSH!" and "KYAAH! IT BROKE!" as the crew realizes, "THAT'S STRANGE, SISTER. THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS MIRROR DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT'S UNDERWATER."

Nami swings her staff and smashes mirrors one after another. Luffy's voice calls, "NAMI! LUFFY CAN'T COME BACK HERE ANYMORE!" and "NAMI! THE MIRROR! WHY'D YOU-" Carrot and others react with "HAA-HAA-". Nami focuses, saying, "LET ME FOCUS ON THIS GUY! ARE YOU TRYING TO INTERFERE WITH LUFFYI!" She orders, "LISTEN UP. BREAK THEM ALL, ALL THE MIRRORS ON BOARD." A close-up shows her determined face as she shouts, "HURRY! THOSE WERE THE CAPTAIN'S ORDERS!"

Luffy stands amid shattering mirrors, bloodied and breathing heavily as "HAA-" "HAA-" echoes. Explosions rock the area with "KRASSH" "KRASSH" while small figures tumble. He shouts, "WHAT'S GOING ONI!" A voice answers, "LOOK. ALL THE MIRRORS TO THE SHIP ARE BREAKING." Luffy's eyes widen in shock as he is addressed: "OI! LUFFY!" The speaker continues, "I NEED TO TALK TO YOU. GET AWAY FROM THE OTHERS." Nearby, a curly-haired figure laughs, "BECAUSE THE SHIP SUNK, THE MIRRORS ARE PROBABLY BREAKING DUE TO THE WATER PRESSURE! AHAHAHA!" Another wonders, "MAYBE THEY'RE STILL ALIVEI WEIRD..." A woman adds, "SISTER, THIS..." Luffy turns sharply. Someone calls, "OI! STRAW HAT'S..." A small figure replies, "YEAH!" Another voice asks, "ARE YOU GUYS OKAYI CHOPPER!" Luffy answers firmly, "EVERYONE'S OKAY, LUFFY."

Voices report urgently: "LUFFY! WE BROKE ALL THE MIRRORS ON BOARD!" "WE THOUGHT WE WERE GONNA SINK, TOO! BUT JINBE DID SOMETHING CRAZY!" "THAT CANDY GUY SAID THAT THE SUNNY SANK!" "WHAT THE HECK HAPPENEDI!" Luffy responds, "OKAY! I'M GLAD!" A blonde woman warns, "NO YOU WON'T! YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE ANY PLANS, DO YOUI!" She insists, "LISTEN CLOSELY, LUFFY!" Luffy shouts back, "THAT'S FINE! I'LL BE OKA-" He catches his breath, "HAA- YEAH." The woman continues, "NOW, NO ENEMIES CAN COME BOTHER US HERE, BUT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET BACK, EITHER!" The skeleton adds, "WE SHOULD MEET UP WITH HIM IN 10 HOURS AT THE EARLIEST." The blonde notes, "AROUND 1 IN THE MORNING." Chopper reports, "SANJI'S MAKING THE CAKE ON CACAO ISLAND RIGHT NOW." The group states, "WE'RE HEADING OVER THERE TO MEET UP WITH HIM."

Luffy is yanked backward with "SLORP!!" as a voice instructs, "WE'LL MEET UP THERE, OKAYI" Another warns, "UNDERSTANDI AFTER YOU BEAT THAT GUY, FIND A MIRROR THAT CAN TAKE YOU TO CACAO ISLAND!" Luffy reacts with wide eyes and "BAH-" A massive armored figure swings a spiked weapon, striking with "KRASSH" and "もちゃっ...!!!" while shouting "LUFFY!" Impact lines and debris fly as the blow lands.

The armored attacker squeezes Luffy with "SQUEEZE" causing "KRASSH!" Luffy struggles violently. A massive impact erupts with "ギュイーン!!" and "カキーン!!" as Luffy is hurled through the air. Nami and Chopper watch in shock. The attacker looms over Luffy, who gasps "GUH-" while being struck repeatedly. A voice calls out, "LUFFYI WHAT HAPPENEDI"

Luffy clashes violently with a massive mochi construct. A voice shouts "WILLOW MOCHI!" as the enormous black-and-white mochi fist smashes forward, shattering stone and sending debris flying. The impact sends Luffy reeling with a loud "BAH!". A translator note reads: "A TYPE OF MOCHI NAMED AFTER THE WILLOW TREE. NOT MADE FROM IT." Luffy recovers mid-air, twisting his body as the mochi wielder's leg swings down. Explosions and impact lines erupt around them. Luffy ducks and counters with rapid strikes, his fists blurring. The opponent is driven back across the broken floor, feet skidding. In the final panel Luffy lands on top of the fallen foe, both characters locked in a fierce grapple amid swirling smoke and shattered tiles.

The mochi user rises, leg extended, producing a wet "SHRRR" sound. Luffy's face is shown up close, bloodied and dripping with "DRIP DRIP" effects. The opponent flashes a wide, menacing grin with sharp teeth, eyes gleaming as "GRIN!" and "ギロギロ" sound effects burst around him. The scene cuts to the Thousand Sunny sailing on rough seas. Nami and Chopper stand at the railing, shouting toward the distant island. Nami yells "COME ON! I'M GONNA DROP DEAD WAITING HERE!" while Chopper adds "HURRY UP ALREADY, GUYS!" Waves crash against the ship as it presses forward.

On the Sunny's deck, Brook, Carrot, and others react with surprise. Brook says "LATER, OKAYI" as Carrot kicks excitedly and shouts "YEAH!". Below on the battlefield, Luffy stands amid rubble and declares "I AIN'T PLANNING ON DYING HERE." The opponent, bloodied and glaring, replies "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT THOSE TO BE YOUR LAST WORDSI" Luffy's face fills the panel in a fierce close-up, eyes blazing with a massive "GLARE" effect and the caption "CAPTAIN LUFFY'S DETERMINATION!" as he roars the line again. The opponent tightens his grip on a trident-like weapon, tension crackling between them.
