Mysterious invaders wearing zebra and boar masks rampage through a town. A large mammoth rears up as citizens stare in horror. One panel shows a shocked onlooker shouting 'WE'RE BEING INVADED!!!'. Arrows rain down on the castle walls amid cries of 'HAA... HAA...'. Defenders yell 'THEY'RE PIRATES! DRIVE 'EM OUT OF HERE!!!' as the massive stone gate shatters. A final panel shows the broken gate and a fallen armored figure with the exclamation 'THEY'VE BROKEN DOWN THE GATE!!!'.

A massive elephant-like mink looms over the ruined town as someone exclaims 'THE WANO COUNTRY WARRIOR, RAIZO!I NEVER HEARD OF HIM'. Townsfolk plead 'PLEASE, JUST LEAVE!!' and 'DO NOT LAY WASTE TO THIS COUNTRY!'. A close-up of a glaring eye appears. A horned mink warrior with glasses and a fur-trimmed coat demands 'STATE YOUR NAME!! WHO ARE YOU!I', then mocks them: 'YOU LOT SURE LIKE TO RUN YOUR MOUTHS FOR A BUNCH'A ANIMALS.' Laughing, he declares 'HAHAHA... SO IT DOES EXIST... THE FABLED COUNTRY OF THE MINKS...'.

A massive mammoth looms over the scene as terrified minks cower below. A voice declares, "THE ONE YOU SEE STANDING BEFORE YOU... IS THE GREAT YONKO, HIS MAJESTY KAIDO'S RIGHT-HAND MAN!!!" Another shouts, "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TOI!" The mammoth's face fills the panel as the speaker continues, "HIS EXCELLENCE, 'JACK THE DROUGHT'!!!" and "KNOWN AS ONE OF THE 3 BEINGS LABELED AS 'THE CALAMITIES'!!!" A box states, "ALL LAND THAT HE PASSES THROUGH DECAYS AWAY AS IF IT'S BEEN THROUGH A DROUGHT!!!" while another reads, "STAR OF THE HUNDRED BEAST PIRATES CAPTAIN OF THE MAMMOTH 'JACK THE DROUGHT'." Jack stands atop the mammoth, glaring down with a fierce expression.

Jack towers over the minks with arms spread wide, declaring, "TO BE THREATENED, NOW WOULD YOUI! YOU WOULDN'T WANT YOUR HAPPY-GO-LUCKY, PEACEFUL LIFESTYLE... NOW, HAND OVER 'RAIZO'!!!" Sheepshead laughs, "GEEE HEHEHE HE!!! OR WHAT... YOU REALLY WANNA PIECE O' MEI" A sign identifies him as "HUNDRED BEAST PIRATES GIFTERS HEADLINER SHEEPSHEAD." In the lower panels, an elder mink says, "WE WOULD AND WILL NEVER LIE... OR ELSE WE WON'T GET ANYWHERE... YET WE MUST HAVE YOU HEAR US OUT..." Another asks, "IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE, YOU MUST PATIENTLY SEARCH AROUND CASE BY CA... JACK, DID YOU SAY...I" A bear mink growls, "GRAMPS MON!!" and the elder replies, "OF COURSE NOT!!"

Jack's mammoth trunk swings violently through the city, smashing buildings and sending minks flying. A voice yells, "GYAHHAHAHAHA! WOMEN, CHILDREN, EVEN THE ELDERLY NO MERCY!!!" Ginrummy states, "DID WE COME HERE SIMPLY TO CONVERSE AND CHAT..." while another replies, "NO SIR, WE CAME HERE TO CAPTURE A SINGLE SAMURAI." An angry mink shouts, "SHUT UP, SIR SHEEPSHEAD!! SAMURAI IS A CATCH-ALL TERM FOR WARRIORS FROM THE WANO COUNTRY! YOU'RE FOCUSING ON THE WRONG THING!!" The trunk crashes down as minks scream, "GYAAA AAAHH HH!!!" and "GUAA AAHH HH!!!" Debris flies everywhere amid the chaos.

A mink protests, "THAT'S ABSURD...!! WE'VE BEEN TELLING THEM THAT RAIZO IS NOT HERE, AND YET...!!" Jack demands, "BRING RAIZO TO ME!!!" and adds, "I HAVE BUT ONE DEMAND!!!" The Pleasures charge forward with weapons, roaring, "GYAAAAA HAHAHA HAHA!!! THEN SO BE IT... TURN THIS COUNTRY INSIDE OUT, 'PLEASURES'!!!" Large text reads "PLEASURES." Minks are hurled through the air as one shouts, "GYAA AAAH HH~!!!" Another exclaims, "HMI" while impact sounds and "FWP" mark the frenzy of the assault.

Explosions rock the city as minks reel from a sudden blast. "THAT OLD FART FROM BEFORE!!! AND THAT BRAT!!" one shouts. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!I WAIT, IT'S..." another cries. "GAH...!! WHAT JUST HAPPENEDI!" a third exclaims amid the smoke and debris. "UHAHA HAHA!!" a voice laughs wildly while someone groans, "AURGH, IT HURTS, DAMNIT!!" A wide-eyed mink stares in shock. "......!I" In the next panels, a stern mink declares, "EVEN OUR INFANTS ARE ABLE TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES!!" An elder adds, "THIS COUNTRY HAS NO "WEAKLINGS"!! EVERY SINGLE MINK IS A BORN WARRIOR!!" The scene shifts to a tense standoff overlooking the damaged city. "IF WE END UP FIGHTING, BOTH OUR ARMIES WILL SUFFER GREATLY! IF YOU INSIST ON LOOKING FOR THIS SOMEBODY..." one mink warns. Another states, "THE ABILITIES OF OUR MUSKETEERS, EACH OF WHOM HAS BEEN THROUGH FURTHER TRAINING, ARE BEYOND WORDS." A final voice challenges, "ARE YOU LOT REALLY SURE YOU CAN TURN THE CITIZENS OF OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY INTO YOUR ENEMIESI!" The speaker concludes, "AT THE VERY LEAST, PLEASE TALK THIS OUT WITH OUR DUKE!!"

A close-up shows a mink's eye widening as he states firmly, "I REFUSE." Another mink reacts with "TALK...I" and "!!I" as tension rises. Suddenly, massive figures burst forward with "!!!" and "HELL YEAH!!!" A large voice commands, ""GIFTERS" GO FORTH!!!" The word "GIFTERS" dominates the panel with the label "ギフターズ". Narration follows: "THE CLASH BEGAN, AND BEFORE WE KNEW IT OUR PEACEFUL "CLAW CITY"..." A mink recalls, "...WE WERE UNABLE TO REASON WITH THEM..." The city erupts into chaos as buildings burn. "TURNED INTO A BATTLEFIELD IN AN INSTANT." An enemy figure yells, "DESTROY THIS COUNTRY AND FIND THE SAMURAI!!!" while another mink wonders in horror, "WHAT'S WITH THEIR BODIES...I!"

Luffy, Nami, and the others stand together as someone confirms, "CORRECT. HOW THEY MANAGED TO ARRIVE AT OUR ISLAND... OR WHY THEY THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE A SAMURAI HERE... THESE ARE THINGS WE STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND..." A mink notes, "KAIDO'S..." Usopp blurts, "THEY WERE UNDERLINGS OF A "YONKO"!I" Luffy adds, "...!!! S... SO THE ONES THAT ATTACKED THIS COUNTRY..." Nami observes, "THE WORDS "SAMURAI" AND "WANO COUNTRY" ARE TABOO HERE, DON'T YOUI!" Someone remarks, "WHAT A REPUGNANT BUNCH..." Usopp realizes, "SEE!!...NOW YOU UNDERSTAND WHY..." Luffy snaps at him, "QUIT BEING ALL HAPPY-GO-LUCKY, CAN'T YOU BE A LITTLE MORE SENSITIVE ABOUT THE SITUATIONI!" Usopp retorts, "HEY!! USOPP, MAMMOTHS!" Luffy shouts in close-up, "THAT KIN'EMON WAS TALKING ABOUT ISN'T HERE... WHAT A BUMMER!!" and "THAT PROBABLY MEANS THE NINJA..." A final panel shows a distant view with "BUT Y'KNOW..." and "!I"

Carrot reacts with surprise, "EH..." while a mink woman sweats and stammers, "NO, NO, NOT AT ALL!!!...ER... INJA...!!!" Another mink asks, "IS YOUR CREW PRIVY TO SOMETHING THAT WE ARE NOTI" A voice questions, "BY "NINJA"... DO YOU MEAN A WANO COUNTRY WARRIORI" Luffy is shown mid-action with sound effects "FNG GGG" and "きぃあぁあ" as the mink continues, "WE WERE WONDERING HOW THE INJURED ARE DOING...!!!" The group walks onward. A mink apologizes profusely, "MY DEEPEST APOLOGIES, SIR SICILIAN~!!!" while another figure cries out in pain, "GYAA AAAHH HH!!!" Luffy and Usopp look concerned. Carrot gestures ahead and says, "AH, WE'RE ALMOST AT THE DUKE'S SANATORIUM, AS YOU CAN SEE..." She adds, "I APOLOGIZE FOR MAKING YOU COME ALL THIS WAY..." Someone suggests, "WE CAN CONTINUE THIS DISCUSSION LATER..."

Outside the Duke Inuarashi Sanatorium, chaos erupts as figures tumble from the balcony and screams fill the air. "WAAA AAHH HH--!!" "LORD SICILIAN IS GOING MAD~~~~!!" "GYAAA AAH!!" "WHAT ON EARTHI!" A large sign reads "DUKE INUARASHI SANATORIUM". In the lower panels, a tall figure in a wide hat pants heavily, "HUFF HUFF". Sicilian, the lion mink, confronts the scene with fury, shouting "LORD SICILIAN!I WHAT HAS YOU SO DISTRESSEDI!" while smaller figures tumble and cry "UWAA AAAH HH~!!". Sicilian then recognizes someone and growls, "OH, WANDA, IT'S YOU.....!!!" followed by "NO ONE HERE IS SHOWING ANY BACKBONE..." as he glares with bared fangs.

Sicilian towers in full fury, declaring "KINDNESS, LOVE, AFFECTION, BABIES, SUGAR AND HONEY!! DO NOT EVER TALK ABOUT ANYTHING SWEET IN MY PRESENCE!!!" A massive sound effect "HIIIIII" accompanies his roar of "A BOTTOMLESS PIT!!!" and "SO I THREW THEM INTO". He continues, "I'LL TEAR YOUR WINDPIPES OUT!!! NOW GET BACK UP HERE ON YOUR OWN!!!" while smaller panels show cowering minks apologizing, "OUR APOLOGIES!! WE WILL NEVER TALK ABOUT ANYTHING SWEET, EVER AGAIN!!" and one exclaiming "THAT IS THE SPIRIT!!!". A caption box identifies him as "MEMBER OF THE 3 INUARASHI MUSKETEERS INUARASHI MUSKETEER SQUAD CAPTAIN (LION MINK) FULL-POWER SICILIAN".

Sicilian reacts with shock "HUH!!I" as the Straw Hat crew appears in the background. He is told "LORD SICILIAN, THIS IS 'THE STRAW HAT CREW'..." and another notes "HE'S A BIT OF A STICK-IN-THE-MUD..." while Sicilian admits "LORD SICILIAN TENDS TO GO... ALL-OUT IN EVERYTHING HE DOES." Sicilian then bows deeply, declaring "I GIVE YOU MY DEEPEST THANKS FOR SAVING OUR COUNTRY!! WE ARE FOREVER INDEBTED TO YOU ALL!!!" In the lower section, a goat-like mink doctor works on medical equipment beside a female mink holding a lantern who spots the visitors and cries "IT'S LUFFY AND THE OTHERS!!" A guard announces "THE DUKE AWAITS INSIDE!!!" as the group prepares to enter.

Duke Inuarashi, the massive bandaged dog mink known as the "King of Day", sits up in bed and asks "ARE 'THE STRAW HAT CREW'I" while addressing the group, "SO YOU LOT..." He continues, "YOU ALL REALLY DID US AN INCREDIBLE FAVOR... WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE." A mink beside him exclaims "DUKE, THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE SAFE!" A sign identifies him as "MOKOMO DUKEDOM 'KING OF DAY' DUKE INUARASHI". In the lower panels, Luffy speaks to the room, "I WAS TALKING TO ALL OF YOU... INCLUDING YOU, 'STRAW HAT LUFFY'." Another character replies "ACTUALLY..." while a surprised mink adds "APPARENTLY MY FRIENDS SAVED YOU GUYS, BUT I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD THE WHOLE STORY."

In the ruined streets of Zou, a tall wolf mink laughs heartily, "FUFU," while a female mink with a sword snaps, "HOLD YOUR TONGUE!! THE DUKE IS THIS COUNTRY'S STRONGEST WARRIOR!!" A voice adds, "YOU SURE LOOK PRETTY STRONG!!" Another replies, "-BUT OLD MAN, YOU MUST BE SUPER STRONG..." The wolf mink responds calmly, "NOW, NOW... THAT'S NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN SAY ABOUT THE DEFEATED..." Nearby, Luffy stands with hands on his hips, grinning alongside Carrot and other minks. In the next panels, the wolf mink continues, "IF ONLY JACK HADN'T BROUGHT SUCH A WEAPON INTO OUR COUNTRY..." "BUT WE HAD THE UPPER HAND IN BATTLE!!!" He roars, "DEFEATEDI! IT'S TRUE THAT OUR ENEMY WAS A TROUBLESOME ONE...!!!" A massive sound effect erupts as the focus shifts to a wide-eyed mink in a large hat, sweat flying, with the narration box declaring "A SHOCKING REVELATION! WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO ZOU...!!I" The mink exclaims, "THE WEAPON THAT DESTROYED THIS COUNTRY..." Luffy stares in shock, "!!!! HM...I WEAPONI" The mink finishes, "WAS CAESAR'S 'POISON GAS WEAPON'!!!" Luffy reacts with wide eyes and a sweat drop, "!!I" A voice confirms, "-YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT, LUFFY!"
