Water continues to pour in massive cascades down the side of a colossal structure as characters cling desperately to ropes and ledges. A voice yells 'UWAAA AAAH!' while another exclaims '!!!'. A sign notes 'AROUND THE SAME TIME, LEFT LEG OF THE ELEPHANT'. Nekozaemon shouts 'THE SUN WILL SET AT THE RATE WE'RE GOING! HANG IN THERE, NEKOZAEMON!' as the group shakes violently with onomatopoeia 'ズズズズズ'. A cat-like mink named Kanjuro panics 'WHOA AAA!' while another cries 'MEOWWW' and 'YOU'VE GOT A POINT!' as they scramble upward, the elephant's leg trembling beneath them.

Rain pours violently across the elephant's back as a massive creature carrying Luffy's group reacts in panic. "WATER'S BAD NEWS! NEKOZAEMON'S GONNA MELT!" someone cries while the beast thrashes. "GYA AAA AH!" it screams. "WATER!I" another voice exclaims. "Th... that's the overflow of... the eruption rain that falls upon the elephant's back..." The group realizes the danger. In the next scene the rain continues as Luffy's group rides the creature through Whale Forest. "Rain at all, if you want to be precise," a voice notes. "Actually, eruption rain isn't..." The creature shakes violently. "SHAKE SHAKE" Luffy shouts in terror from the side panel, "WHOAAAA! THAT RAIN WAS CRAZY!"

The group discusses the island's water system. "The water collects in a filtration device in the center of the city and is carried in aqueducts... Meaning that rain just now was actually seawater." "The elephant, Zunisha, bathes itself in water. Twice per day," Wanda explains. "All throughout the country, wherever running water is needed." Luffy reacts with awe. "WOW!" "It truly is a blessing." "Which means we don't ever have to worry about access to food!" Fish leap from the water. "Fish often get sucked up along with the seawater, too." "FLAP" Carrot appears. Tension rises as Luffy is bitten. "BECAUSE HE'S A PIRATE, HE'S CURRENTLY UNDER THE CARE OF THE BOSS OF THIS FOREST, MR. CAT VIPER!" "Bepo's a native of this island, but..." "OI, STRAW HAT! I'M KIND OF STUCK IN THE FOREST, SO... DO ME A FAVOR AND TELL THE CAPTAIN ABOUT ME AND THE OTHERS HERE! ASK HIM TO COME MEET US!" Luffy yells, "OI! QUIT IT WITH THE BITING!" "I SEE!" Panic spreads in the city. "BUT THERE'S SHARKS! FREAKING SHARKS! WHY!I" "WE'RE ALREADY PLENTY SAFE UP HERE." "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ALL THE WAY UP THEREI" "SALT WATERI" A massive shark surges through the flood. "IT'S A FLOOD!" "GYAAH!" A sign reads "CLAW CITY ZORO'S GROUP!" Elsewhere, a mink observes, "I see... what with the amount of water that just fell, it definitely makes sense." "Meaning that this rain is a daily occurrence." "COULD IT BE... THE ELEPHANT WAS BATHING ITSELF A SHORT WHILE AGOI" "PATA—SH!" In a circular panel a small boat drifts. "HM!I" Usopp's group reacts. "LET'S JUST FIND THE OTHERS AND GET THE HELL OFF THIS ISLAND!" "THIS STUFF FALLS EVERY DAY!I WHO COULD EVER GET USED TO THAT!I" "NUDGE"

Luffy is carried away by minks. "POOR LUFFY... THEY'VE DUPED HIM AND THEY'RE TAKING HIM TO THEIR BASE..." "THAT NAMI DOG-WOMAN AND THE JUMPING RABBIT FROM EARLIER ARE WITH HIM!" "OI, LOOK, THERE'S LUFFY! INSIDE THE CITY!" Usopp panics. "SHE JUST TOOK A BITE OUTTA LUFFY!" "WHAT IS IT NOW, USOPP!I" "WHAAAT!I SO I GUESS THEY REALLY ARE..." A massive hand grabs wildly. "GYAAAAAAAH!" "あああ" The water level begins to drop. "KYAAH!" "WAAAAH!" The group rides the creature through the city as the flood recedes. "THE WATER LEVEL FALLS PRETTY QUICKLY..."

Luffy stares in confusion as the dog mink Wanda pleads desperately. "I'm telling you, he's not! He should be here!" she insists while looking upward. Luffy sweats with a question mark floating beside him. The scene shifts to close-ups of the confrontation. "I really have no clue! What can I say that will make you believe meI" Wanda cries out. "I have no idea what you're talking about!" she continues. A threatening voice warns, "If you don't bring him forward, I'm gonna raze this country to the ground!" Luffy's eyes widen in shock. Wanda and Carrot react with tension as multiple "H!!" sound effects punctuate the air. Luffy sweats heavily while Carrot looks on with concern. The wooden structure with chains stands broken nearby.

The group discusses recent events amid the misty landscape. "Jack. His obituary showed up in the paper the other day..." someone recalls. "The one that destroyed this countryI What's that guy's name againI You said it earlier..." Luffy questions. A splash echoes as a small creature reacts. "He attacked the 4 ships that were escorting Doflamingo," the bird-like mink adds. Luffy yells, "What!I So he was on Dressrosa too!I" The bird mink points forward, saying "Chambres" and "On how to get to the fortress... That's the plan... I gave them specific directions..." Luffy wonders about Zoro and the others while mist thickens. "We should be there soon."

Chaos erupts as Luffy is grabbed and swung around by the massive creature. "Whoa aaa!" he yells amid the spinning motion and impact sounds. Luffy lands and shouts excitedly, "Whoa! Hey guys!" while waving. The creature looms over shocked minks who cry "!I" and "Gyah!" as it stomps with a loud "Thump." Luffy grins and calls out, "Oi! Whatever! Where'd they get ya! You still have all your arms and legs!I" Carrot watches with a skeptical expression. "Sheesh. You definitely don't get what's going on here, do youI" she remarks. A stern voice declares, "We know you're tryna turn him into lunchmeat! And we won't have any of it! You crazy carnivore!" Another mink warns, "Listen up, Nami-dog-woman! That's our captain you've got over there!" The group demands, "You better give us back our other friends too! The ones that showed up here before us! Otherwise this guy's sanctuary is gonna cut you 3 new ones!" with a loud "Clank" of weapons.

The massive creature carries the group toward the fortress as Luffy points ahead. "That's the fortress right there, and those are the gatekeepers!" he announces amid motion lines and "Gogogogo" sounds. Minks react with surprise: "!!I" and "EhI" One mink shouts, "Look a bit closer, inside the mist." In the next scene, a lion-like mink and goat-like mink stand guard. "Are they the whale forest invadersI Wanda! Who are those peopleI" they ask. The group approaches the gate. "Open the gate and tell everyone! Tell them that the Straw Hat crew has arrived!" a voice commands. "Got lost in whale forest! By mistake, one of them, without ringing the 'Bell of Welcome,' they bore us no ill will," another explains. Luffy and the others stand before the massive gate as the minks react in shock: "What!I These guys are...!I"

Inside the fortress, a massive furry mink lies sprawled and snoring loudly with a big "SNORE" bubble overhead while "NAMI!" echoes from both sides. The mink continues "zzzzzz" as it sleeps. Chopper bursts into view with wide eyes and tears, shouting "THEY FINALLY CAME! LUFFY AND THE OTHERS ARE HERE!". Nearby voices cry "THEY'VE MADE IT SAFE AND SOUND!". A small mink tumbles backward in shock yelling "WAA AAAA AGH!". Nami sits up with a start, her expression shifting as "NAMI!" and "ばんっ!!" sound effects erupt around her along with a blinking "I" and "HAPPY" reaction.

Chopper leans forward excitedly, declaring "JUST NOW! THEY JUST PASSED THE FORTRESS GATES!" while Nami rises from the cloud-like fluff with a bright smile, exclaiming "LUFFY AND THE OTHERS!I REALLY!I". Chopper calls out "CHOPPER!!!" as Nami stands tall. In the background a bird-like figure tumbles through the air with "KYAAH!" and "わぁん!" cries, apologizing "AAAH! MY APOLOGIES.". A large mink watches and remarks "OH, SO YOUR FRIENDS HAVE COME... WONDERFUL." while Nami reacts with surprise and motion lines.

The scene explodes into a grand welcoming spectacle across the tree-like fortress structures. Mink citizens cheer wildly with repeated "GARCHU!" and "WELCOME, STRAW HATS!" cries while waving and leaping. A large "あぁぁぁぁ" sound effect fills the air. Luffy appears thrilled, shouting "WHOAA! IN OUR EYES, I GUESS SOMEONE WHO'S NEVER SEEN OTHER MINKS WOULD THINK THAT WAY, BUT...". The crowd erupts in joyful "GARCHU!" greetings. Nami and Chopper receive enthusiastic welcomes as minks shout "NAMI! CONGRATULATIONS! GARCHU!" and "OH! LOOK! IT'S CHOPPER AND NAMI!". Luffy yells "UWAAH!" while being affectionately greeted. A mink explains "THE FUR THAT COVERS OUR BODIES, CALLED MINK, IS THE PRIDE OF OUR RACE..." as the Straw Hats are surrounded by the celebrating tribe.

The Straw Hats and Mink warriors erupt in joyful reunion. A voice shouts, "WHOO! I'M GLAD TO SEE YOU GUYS!" while another calls out "EVERYONE!"
