The Thousand Sunny sails through dark waters surrounded by massive sea creatures. Narration reads: "LEAVING FISHMAN ISLAND BEHIND..." and "SMOOTH SAILING, NOT A HITCH..." A box states: "THE CREW FINALLY SET SAIL FOR THE LATTER HALF OF THE GRAND LINE..." Chopper stares at a fluffy cloud, exclaiming, "THAT CLOUD LOOKS SO FLUFFY AND DELICIOUS, THOUGH... I BET IT'S SUGARY-SWEET!" Usopp replies from off-panel, "NO, I'M FINE! I WASHED THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY!" A box notes: "THE NEW WORLD AWAITS THEM ABOVE." Nami stands in the shower, water cascading over her as she smiles and asks, "YOU WANT TO COME TRY IT OUT TOOI HOW DO YOU LIKE MY SHOWER TEMPOI" Below, the Sunny is struck by a giant sea king; Luffy yells, "GYAA AAAAAA AHHHHH HHH!!!" while shouting, "I THINK I'D BETTER NOT EAT IT AFTER ALL!!"

Nami relaxes in a steaming outdoor bath under the starry sky, arms behind her head, sighing "WHEW!" and "THAT FEELS GOOD!" Chopper watches from the side, thinking, "...WITHOUT A NAVIGATOR...!I" and asking, "D'YOU THINK THEY'LL BE ALL RIGHT UP ON DECK...I" Nami replies, "IT'S TWO YEARS SINCE I LAST TOOK A BATH ON THE SUNNY!" She adds, "IF ANY SEA MONSTERS SHOW UP, THE OTHERS CAN HANDLE THOSE, RIGHTI" Below deck, Luffy grins while tangled in the massive tentacles of a sea king, yelling, "WE'RE DEALING WITH SUPER-GIANT FISH HERE! WE WON'T GET ANYWHERE WITH A NORMAL ROPE!!" Usopp, wearing goggles, responds, "HURRY UP, USOPP!!" and "HAVE A LITTLE PATIENCE!"

On the Sunny's deck at night, Sanji smokes and says, "THEN SANJI CAN COOK 'EM UP FOR US WHEN WE GET TO THE SURFACE!" Luffy sits excitedly with a wide grin. Nami smiles nearby. Usopp and Chopper discuss fish: "THAT ONE LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD BE TASTY WITH MAYONNAISE!" and "HOW ABOUT THAT ONEI WE COULD FRY IT UP..." Sanji replies, "...WE CAN CELEBRATE WITH A FEAST AND A GOOD DRINK! IT'S A GREAT IDEA. ONCE WE GET TO THE NEW WORLD..." Luffy stretches his arm with "GOMU GOMU NOOO" while shouting, "SANJI CAN MAKE ANYTHING TASTE DELICIOUS!!!" The crew enjoys the lively moment as the ship continues its voyage.

A massive fish reels from a direct hit as Luffy shouts "JET PISTOL!!" The creature cries "GHUA aaaaa aaa!!" while someone notes, "HE WENT FOR THE MAYONNAISE ONE ANYWAY!!" Below, the fish floats belly-up with X eyes as Luffy yells "ALL RIGHT!!" and "CAPTURE STAR!!" On the Sunny's deck Luffy grins and urges, "HURRY UP, HURRY UP!! YOU GOTTA REEL IT IN!!" A crewmate wonders, "IS IT NOT A BIT TOO BIG, THOUGHI!" In the depths a colossal fish looms; Luffy's group debates, "AN OLD GUYI!" "LOOKS KIND OF LIKE AN OLD GUY TO ME." "...ARE YOU SURE IT'S REALLY A FISH, THOUGHI" They cheer, "WE DID IT!! WE CAUGHT A DEEP-WATER FISH!!" as a tiny fish gasps "AH..."

A gigantic deep-sea fish lunges with jaws wide, startling the crew as one shouts "EH!I" The monster snaps at the ship while a voice yells "WHOO OOOOAA AAAH!!!" and "ANOTHER ONE TOOK THE BAIT!!!" The fish drags the Sunny sideways; someone screams "AAAAAAGH!!! NOT AN EVEN BIGGER ONE!!!" and "THAT DOES IT, I GIVE!!! THIS THING'S GONNA PULL THE SHIP RIGHT OVER!!!" A panicked voice asks, "WHAT IS THIS, SOME KIND OF DEEP-SEA RUSSIAN DOLLI!!!" Below deck a hand grips a lever with "KA-CHINK!!" as a blonde woman sweats and murmurs "IT'OU RYUU..." while the crew worries, "MAYBE I SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT THEM ON THEIR OWN AFTER ALL..." and "THE SHIP'S SHAKING ABOUT, AND THEY'RE SURE ARE BEING NOISY UP ON DECK...!!"

A colossal fish named with the attack "360-Pondo Hou!!!" thrashes violently, sending crew flying as it roars "GUOOO OOOOOO OOOOOO OOHHHH HHHHHH!!!" Luffy laughs, "NOT JUST ONE DEEP-SEA FISH TO COOK!! THERE ARE TWO MORE INSIDE IT!!" while Trafalgar Law wonders, "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU...I" A crewmate exclaims, "A DEEP-SEA FISH TO COOK, EHI THAT SOUNDS LIKE A CHALLENGE!!" Underwater Luffy spots movement and gasps, "OOH! WHAT'S THATI! A SNAKEI!" as Law replies, "THAT'S JUST YOUR IMAGINATION!" The fish surfaces again; someone aboard asks, "SO, UH... IS THE SHIP STILL ON COURSEI" while another admits, "I'M GETTING SOMETHING OF A...SINKING FEELING..."

Nami stares ahead and wonders, "COULD IT POSSIBLY BE...I" as Luffy asks "HMI" and she continues, "HOLD ON..." The sea churns with massive coils; the crew spots "A GIANT SEA SNAKEI!" and shouts "THE SHIP CAN'T PULL A THING THAT SIZE!!" "WE CAN EAT THAT AS WELL!!" "LET'S TAKE A CLOSER LOOK!!" and "AAA GGGHH HHH!!!" A huge serpentine form erupts with the impact "ズグッ グッ グッ グッ" and the caption "THE WHITE STROM!!!" Nami cries "OH, NO!! IS THAT......THE WHITE STROMI!!" while the crew realizes, "A WHIRLPOOL UNDER-WATERSI!" and "IT'S A GIGANTIC WHITE WHIRLPOOL!!" as the ship is pulled toward the vortex.

Luffy stares in shock as the ship is pulled violently through churning waters. "I DON'T THINK SO!!!" he yells. Nearby voices cry out in panic: "YOU MEAN IT'S LIKE... A WARP ZONEI!" and "YOU MEAN THE WHOLE CREW ARE KILLED!!!" The narration explains that the ship has been swept into a far-away ocean far from its original location. The crew scrambles on deck as a massive toothed fish-like creature looms from the vortex. "WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!!" someone shouts. A woman on the railing yells, "HURRY, EVERYONE!! WE HAVE TO GET AWAY FROM THAT VORTEX!!" and "AND THERE'S OUR NAVIGATOR!! YOU HEARD HER, LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!!" Below, the giant creature thrashes as the crew tries to free the ship. "LOOK, THE FISH IS GETTING CAUGHT UP IN THE VORTEX!!" one cries. Others shout, "OH, NO!! WE'VE GOTTA GET IT BACK!!" and "NO!! WE'VE GOT TO CUT IT LOOSE!!!" while the beast roars with heavy SFX impacts.

The crew argues desperately aboard the tilting ship. "HONESTLY, I LEAVE YOU ALONE FOR TEN MINUTES AND THIS IS THE SITUATION YOU MANAGE TO GET US INI!!" one yells. Another demands, "WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT, THE FISH OR YOUR LIVESI!!" A massive creature's head bursts forward with a huge "EEEEEEEHHHHHHHHI!" reaction from the crew. Luffy grins wildly, "WHOAA!! THIS IS AWESOME!!" as a small puff of smoke appears near the monster. "PUFF...!!" it goes, followed by "SEEI" and "AH..." Franky shouts, "FRANKY!! WE NEED A COUP DE BURST!!" while Nami insists, "NO... IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT!!" The ship suddenly lurches with massive impact SFX "ゴゴゴゴゴ" as the vessel is dragged sideways. "EVERYONE HANG ON TO SOMETHING...!!!" a voice cries amid the chaos.

A colossal whirlpool swirls violently with heavy SFX "ズゴゴゴゴゴ" and screams of "AAAAA AAAAAA GGGGGG HHHHHHHH HHH" as the ship is sucked downward. The massive serpentine body of the creature coils through the water. The crew reacts in shock: "EHI!" "DID WE BUMP INTO SOMETHING..." and "WE'VE STOPPED!!" Suddenly an impact strikes with "ビキーン" and "!I" as a figure is sent flying, crying "AAAGHHHH!!" The skeleton crew member stares in disbelief while Luffy's eyes widen in surprise at the abrupt halt.

Luffy's face twists in shock as he recognizes the giant creature. "LABOON!!!" he screams. The massive black whale with a scarred head and iron horns fills the panel, its eye visible as it looms over the ship. Smaller panels show the crew's reactions: "LABOON!!!" and "WE'LL TRAVEL RIGHT ROUND THE WORLD AND COME STRAIGHT BACK HERE!!!" with "LABOON!" repeated. Brook yells desperately, "LABOON!!! YOU'VE GROWN SO MUCH...!!" while clinging to the rail. Another warns, "DON'T BE STUPID!! LABOON'S BACK IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE GRAND LINE!" and "HE COULDN'T EVEN MAKE IT THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE RED LINE WITH A BODY THAT SIZE!" The whale lets out a tremendous cry with large SFX "ドォォォン" and "オォォン!!!" as a small figure fires a flare toward it, shouting "WHOO OOOOOO OAAAAAA AAAAAAA AAAAAA!!!"

The Straw Hats stare in shock at the massive whale Laboon blocking their path. Brook leans forward desperately, shouting, "LABOON!! WAIT!! LISTEN, PLEASE!! IT'S ME, BROOK!!!" The crew reacts with disbelief: "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! ARE THEY REALLY NOT LABOONI!" "YEAH, THEY LOOK JUST THE SAME...!!!" "QUITE A FEW OF 'EM HAVE GOT WOUNDS ON THEIR HEADS JUST LIKE LABOON DID." "IT'S LIKE A MIRACLE... TO RUN INTO A GROUP OF ISLAND WHALES OUT OF THE BLUE...!!!" Nami takes charge, calling roll: "NAMI-SAN!! HERE!" "ROBIN-CHAN! I'M STILL HERE." She orders, "FIRST, WE OUGHTTA MAKE SURE WE DIDN'T LOSE ANYONE BACK IN THAT CRAZY VORTEX!! I'LL TAKE A ROLL CALL!!" Sanji yells at the crew, "YOU HEARD THE LADY!! WE DON'T NEED TO DO A THING, YOU LAYABOUTS!!" while Brook pleads with Laboon about the other whales. The crew debates whether to enjoy the view or escape the danger as the ship rocks amid the whale pod.

Nami stands at the helm, sweat flying as she commands, "SO WE RAISE THE MAINSAIL AND POINT THE SHIP IN THE SAME DIRECTION THE WHALES ARE MOVING!!!" She warns, "A GROUP OF WHALES THIS LARGE WILL CAUSE A POWERFUL CURRENT AS IT MOVES!! TRYING TO FIGHT THE FLOW WOULD ONLY PUT US IN MORE DANGER!!" The crew screams in panic, "AHHHHH HHHHHHH HHHHHH!!!" Brook calls out, "BE CAREFUL, BROOK --!!" while examining the whales and realizing, "IS THERE ANYONE HERE RELATED TO LABOON...I" "OF COURSE... THIS MUST BE LABOON'S HOME...!!!" Luffy and the others ride the surging current atop the whale's back. A voice from the whale speaks gently: "IF THERE IS ANYONE HERE LOOKING FOR A YOUNG WHALE WHO WAS SEPARATED FROM HIS FAMILY FIFTY YEARS AGO... THEN HAVE NO FEAR!! YOUR CHILD IS SAFE AND SOUND... LIVING A HEALTHY LIFE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE OCEAN!!! YOUR CHILD HAS GROWN TO A MAGNIFICENT SIZE!! SO PLEASE, DO NOT WORRY!!" The ship tilts wildly as they follow the current.

Brook plays his violin passionately on the deck, singing with the crew, "Yohohoho Yooooooo hohohoho hooooooo!" The notes float across the waves as the ship rides the whale's back. Brook continues the melody: "Riding on the waves! Following the sea breeze. Binks' sake! Going to deliver." The night scene shows the ship gliding over the dark ocean with the whale's eye visible below. Musical notes drift through the air while the crew enjoys the moment. Brook's voice carries the lyrics of the old sea shanty, "Painting circles in the sky. A jolly island song. Far across the salty deeps, the merry evening sun." The Straw Hats grin as the melody fills the salty air and the whale carries them forward under the stars.

The ship shakes violently as it rides the whale. Luffy shouts excitedly, "WHAT...I!" "HEY!! ARE YOU GONNA CARRY USI!" Nami smiles with relief, noting the upward current. The crew braces as the whale surfaces with a massive "BUDOOO!!" and "BUUDDDDOOO!!" The narration reads, "Today, and tomorrow, our dreams through the night Waving our goodbyes, we'll never meet again. Going to deliver Binks' sake Today and tomorrow, our dreams through the night Waving our goodbyes, we'll never meet again." Luffy beams as the ship bursts into open air, declaring, "HERE COMES THE SURFACE!!" Bubbles and waves erupt around them while the crew celebrates their escape and the continuing journey.

Massive sea currents roar as enormous sea king-shaped vessels burst through the raging waves. A thunderous "BUOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" shakes the sky. One figure yells, "IT'S THE NEW WORLD!!!" Another shouts, "WE'RE HERE!!!" The crew stands at the deck's edge facing the storm. Luffy throws his head back with a wild grin and roars, "BRING IT ON!!!" Sanji smirks and says, "It's like we're standing at the gates to hell." Zoro narrows his eyes: "A raging ocean of fire!!" Usopp cries out, "I can see red waters ahead!!" Chopper panics, "Our compass spinning wildly!!" Nami notes, "The waves are rough and wild!" Franky bellows, "Mighty gales in the air!" Brook wails, "Yohohohoho!! What a stormy sky!!" while a final crewmate shouts, "The weather's terrible!!!" The Straw Hats charge forward into the chaotic New World seas.
