On the ship, crew members shout "CRAP!! AFTER THEM!! IF THEY'RE GOING DOWN, SO ARE WE!!!" as everyone is pulled into the downward current. Others react with "JUST HOW STRONG HAS HE GOTI!!" and "HE SENT IT FLYING!!!"

The Straw Hats battle the raging current around the ship. Crew members yell "IF WE'RE NOT CAREFUL, THE WHOLE SHIP COULD END UP DESTROYED!!!", "HANG ON TIGHT, EVERYONE!!!", "HNGHHH!! HERE GOES NOTHING!!!", and "KEEP THE YARD STRAIGHT!! TURN THE SHIP LEFT!! WE'RE GOING TO COLLIDE WITH THE CONTINENTAL SHELF!!!" Others command "DON'T GET SHAKEN OFF THE SHIP, NOW!!" and "KEEP TO THE VERY CENTRE OF THE CURRENT!!" while noting "THIS SHIP IS CRAZY!" The enormous kraken looms overhead with tentacles coiling through the water, its body dominating the splash panel amid heavy SFX and bubbles. A crew member screams "AAAAA GHHHH HAAA!!!"

The crew descends into the pitch-black depths. Narration states they are about 7000 metres down, noting "AT THIS DEPTH, EVEN THE SHARK SUBMERGE WOULD BE CRUSHED FLAT BY THE PRESSURE." Usopp panics, "I CAN'T HANDLE DARK PLACES! DON'T YOU FEEL LIKE THERE'S SOMETHING WATCHING YOUI!" while others discuss Fish-Man Island and Keimi-chan's warning that it is 10000 meters deep. A box reads "A TRUE OCEAN 'UNDER-WORLD'." Franky activates a bright light, shouting "NIPPLE LIGHT!!" Nami worries, "I JUST HOPE THEY HAVEN'T BEEN TORN TO PIECES BY SEA MONSTERS..." as another replies "DON'T IMAGINE SUCH SCARY THINGS!!!" and "IT LOOKS LIKE WE'VE LOST THEM." Usopp and others react with relief and cold complaints.
