Level 1, Crimson Hell. A massive wave of thick wax crashes through the prison corridor as prisoners flee. "DON'T JUST STAND THERE!! GET GOING, YOU GUYS!!" A scarred man with glasses grins, "THIS WAX WALL IS AS HARD AS IRON. YOUR VENOM WON'T PASS THROUGH!!!" Beside him the candle man declares, "THAT'S RIGHT, I ATE THE DORU DORU FRUIT AND I'M A CANDLE MAN." A horned prisoner stares in shock, "WAX...I" Below, allies cheer, "WE'VE GAINED EVEN MORE RESPECT FOR YOU, 3 BRO!!!" as Magellan's hydra is halted. "UWOOOHH!! MAGELLAN'S HYDRA WAS STOPPED!!!" The scarred man smirks, "HMPH! YOU NEVER KNOW HOW ABILITIES WILL INTERACT."

Luffy, Jinbe, and Crocodile discuss their next move while running. "YES, WE MUST HURRY." "HEY, YOU SAID WE'RE GOING TO STEAL ONE OF THE MARINES' SHIPS, RIGHTI" "I'M GETTING THE URGE TO RUN TOO!" "ONLY AS LONG AS WE'RE NOT ON ONE OF THE HOT FLOORS!! YOU ALL HURRY AHEAD!" "OH YEAH!! YOU CAN DO THAT!!" Luffy insists he will stop Magellan. "THAT'S TRUE... Luffy enlarges his arms with Gear Third, shouting "PAY ATTENTION!! DON'T GET DISTRACTED AT A TIME LIKE THIS!!" and slams massive fists down. "UWOHHH, THIS'LL WORK!!!" "IT'S PERFECT!!!" Allies fight nearby as wax and poison clash. "WHAT-EVER!!! JUST FIGHT!!!" Luffy weeps, "I CAN'T STOP MY TEARS... YOU MADE ME LOOK THIS COOL... THANK YOU!!!" A massive hydra head erupts from the floor. "UWOHH, HERE IT COMES!!" "HYDRA"!!!

Luffy stretches his arm back with a determined glare, shouting "GOMU GOMU..." as a massive wax barrier erupts in front of him. Galdino yells "CANDLE WALL"!!! while the wax solidifies into a thick shield. An unseen voice snaps "THAT WON'T WORK!!" The barrier is immediately blasted apart by a spinning projectile. Galdino cries "!!!" and "NUU..." as the attack rips through. The projectile is revealed as Buggy's detached hand gripping a massive rifle, with the attack name "CHAMPION RIFLE"!!! exploding outward. Below, Luffy shouts desperately "ALL RIGHT!! I CAN TOUCH HIM!!!" while Buggy's furious face looms close, teeth bared, with sound effects "BIRS BIRS".

Galdino's wax shields block incoming cannon fire as Buggy's crew fires back. A massive explosion rocks the Impel Down front gates with the sound effect "ズドドドドドドーン!!!" and the cry "ALL RIGHT!!! THIS MIGHT WORK!!!" Buggy stands triumphantly atop a wax structure, laughing "NGAHAHAHAHA!! NOW THAT WE'VE GOTTEN THIS FAR, THERE AREN'T ANY ENEMIES LEFT!!!" A shirtless prisoner warns him "DON'T LET YOUR GUARD DOWN, YOU AMATEUR..." while another voice asks "WHAT WAS THAT!I" A diagram labels the location "Impel Down Sea Surface, Front Gates" with levels 1 through 6 marked.

Buggy's group debates their next move inside the chaotic prison. One warns "THIS ISN'T EXACTLY THE TIME TO RELAX." Another states "WE NEED TO STEAL ONE, SO TEN WILL BE AGAINST US." A third notes "WE DON'T KNOW HOW PREPARED THEY ARE. THERE ARE 10 BATTLESHIPS OUTSIDE, WITH 800 MARINES ON EACH." Galdino mutters "Y...YEAH..." Prisoners clash with guards in fierce combat. Voices shout "IF WE BEAT THE MARINES, IT'S HEAVEN! IF WE LOSE, I'LL BE IN HELL AGAIN!!" "IDIOT, WE'RE NOT IN THE CLEAR YET!!" "U...!!! FINALLY... OUT INTO THE SUN AGAIN...!!!!" and "ALL RIGHT, LET'S GET 'EM!! LET'S OPEN THE GATES!!!" The mob charges forward yelling "COME ON, GUYS!!!" "LET'S GO!!" "BRING IT ON, BASTARDS!!" while Buggy's face appears in close-up with sweat drops.

The escapees burst onto the sea as a massive "ドドドドン!!!" explosion erupts behind them. Voices cry "THERE'S NO TIME FOR YOUR COMPLAINING..." "DAMN IT! NOW WE'LL FALL INTO HELL AGAIN!" "MAN... WE FINALLY ESCAPED FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL..." and "MAGELLAN ORDERED THEM TO SET SAIL JUST NOW." On the open water someone shouts "WHERE ARE THE BATTLESHIPS!!!I" A prisoner notes "AH... YOU'RE RIGHT!! BUT... WHAT CAN WE DO WITH THEM SO FAR AWAY!!I" while another replies "LEAVE IT TO ME...!!!!" "REST ASSURED!! I'M HERE!!!" Galdino observes "I SEE... LOOKS LIKE OUR ENEMIES AREN'T AS DUMB AS WE THOUGHT..." A map shows the massive front gate of Impel Down with the warning "NO WAY... THEN THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO!!!" "THERE'S NOT A SINGLE SHIP ANY GUARD TO STEAL!!!" and "WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO WAIT FOR MAGELLAN TO GET US...!I"

Prisoners and allies scramble atop the massive stone gate as they prepare to flee. "LET'S GO ALREADY!!" one shouts. "READYI" another calls. "HOLD ON TO IT FOR ME!!" a third yells while someone adds, "HERE!! I FOUND THIS SMALL DEN DEN MUSHI EARLIER." Below, the group stares in awe as a towering figure heaves the enormous gate onto his shoulder. "OOOHHH!! HE'S CARRYING THAT HEAVY GATE LIKE IT'S NOTHING!!" they exclaim. The massive splash panel reveals Jimbei striding forward with the colossal stone structure balanced effortlessly, his black coat billowing. "THAT'S THE CAPTAIN OF THE FISHMAN PIRATES FOR YOU!!" a voice declares as the ground cracks beneath his feet and debris flies. SFX rumble with "ズドドドドドド" from the sheer weight and movement.

The escaping group cheers as their vessel cuts across the sea. "AND OUR SAVIOR, CAPTAIN BUGGY, WENT ALONG WITH THEM LIKE IT'S NOTHING!!!" someone exclaims. "MY HOPES ARE REVIVED!!" another cries while a third admits, "I'M GETTING SHIVERS!! I NEVER IMAGINED I'D BE ABLE TO SEE A SHICHIBUKAI FIGHT!!" On the prison side, Buggy laughs wildly. "GYAHHAHAHA YOU IDIOTS!! RATHER THAN SITTING THERE WAITING FOR MAGELLAN TO COME," he taunts. His first mate adds, "OF COURSE IT'S SAFER TO BE WITH TWO SHICHIBUKAI!! IDIOTS!!!" Buggy chuckles, "FUFUFU..." Suddenly an explosion erupts from the water. "OWAH!!" the crew yells as the boat rocks violently. "THEY'VE SPOTTED US!!" SFX blast with "ズドドド" and impact lines.

Marine warships close in on the escaping vessel. "AS LONG AS WE GET JIMBEI, THEY'RE ALL DONE FOR!!!" an officer shouts. "ALL SHIPS, OPEN FIRE!!" another commands. "HE'S NO ORDINARY FISHMAN!! THAT'S JIMBEI, THE KNIGHT OF THE SEA!!" a voice warns. "THEY DODGED IT!! THEY'RE FAST!!!" the Marines realize. Jimbei stands firm on the deck. "I'LL FIRE ONTO THE SHIP'S DECK. HOLD ON TIGHT," he says. Explosions rock the water as shells land nearby. "THERE'S THE FLEET!!" someone cries. "HE LEFT US TO ESCAPE ALONE!!!" a crewmate panics while Buggy snaps, "JUST SHUT UP..." Jimbei vanishes from the deck. "WHAT!I THAT GUY DISAPPEARED!!" Buggy yells in shock. "EH!I WHA-WHA-WHA!I WHAT'RE YOU SAYING, YOU FISH BASTARD!!!I" Below, Jimbei dives into the sea. "WATER HEART" and "MIZU-GOKORO." appear as he activates "FISHMAN JUJUTSU" with swirling currents and bubbles.

Jimbei's massive water current lifts the entire ship skyward in a spiraling vortex. "GUCU" and "ズズズ..." sound as the vessel spins. "NNN!!" the crew screams while clinging to the deck. The swirling torrent forms a towering waterspout. "CURRENT LIFT" labels the technique. Jimbei surfaces with a fierce expression. "KAIRYU IPPON SEOI"!!!" he roars, hurling the ship upward on a colossal wave. "NUOHH..." he grunts with effort as the vessel rockets forward amid roaring water and flying spray. SFX explode with "ギャアアア" and "ゴゴゴゴゴ" from the surging sea.

A massive water attack surges toward the ship as panicked voices erupt. "AAAAAHHHH!!" screams one man while another yells, "WHY DID YOU EVEN COMEI" From the deck, someone shouts, "OI OI OI, JIMBEI, YOU BASTARD!!" and "THAT ATTACK'S COMING RIGHT AT US!" The colossal wave crashes down with explosive force, sending debris and water flying. "UGYA-AAAAHH!!!" cries a victim as the impact SFX "ドバァァン!!! レバァァン!!!" roar across the page.

Marines stare in shock at the living waterspout. "NO IDEA...!!!" "WHAT WAS THAT...I" "IT'S AS IF IT'S ALIVE!" "EH!!I WHAT'S THAT WATER-SPOUT...!I" someone exclaims. "SOMEONE'S RIDING IT!!! IT'S CROCODILE!!!" yells another as the spiraling attack arcs toward the warship. The massive wave slams into the vessel with "バキン!!!" and "ガラァァン" sounds. "HERE WE ARE..." "THEY'RE HERE!!!" voices shout amid the chaos as fighters tumble through the spray.

Crocodile stands tall on the deck in his black coat, hook gleaming, as allies and enemies clash around him. "ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TOSS THEM INTO THE WATER AND WE'LL WIN!!!" "THEY CAME TO TAKE THE SHIP!!! DON'T LET THEM HAVE IT!!!!" someone commands. In close-up, Crocodile's scarred face smirks. "LOOKS LIKE THEY DON'T KNOW WHO THEY'RE DEALING WITH..." he says, followed by the line, "'TOSS THEM INTO THE WATER'I"

Jinbe launches a powerful "YARI-NAMI*!!!" spear wave while declaring "FISHMAN KARATE..." A marine orders, "DON'T FALTER, FIRE..." as gunfire erupts with "バキバキン" sounds. The warship rocks violently under the assault. "OHH... I WAS CARELESS! THAT'S THE SHIP WE'RE GOING TO TAKE!!" Crocodile realizes with a grin. An ally calls out, "OI OI...!!!" as the battle rages on the tilting deck.
