THE END OF THE DREAM

A mostly blank page features a single small rectangular panel centered low. A massive explosion rocks the sea as Thriller Bark looms in the distance, its tattered sails marked with the ship's name. A huge scream erupts: "UWAAAAA AAAH!!!" accompanied by frantic Japanese sound effects. In close-up panels, Sanji's face twists in horror as he shouts "DANJI!!!", Robin cries "ROBIIIIN!!!", and a wild-eyed man yells "HEY, ZOROOO!!!". Below, bodies begin to dissolve into swirling particles. A large narration box declares "THEIR BODIES ARE DISAPPEARING!!!" as Luffy, Robin, and others struggle against the vanishing force amid heavy impact lines and debris.

PAN PAN PAN!! sounds as a small creature bounces. A voice yells, "GET UP!! ABSALOM, I DON'T REMEMBER MAKING YOU THIS WEAK!!" Absalom lies defeated. Hogback shouts at him, "YOU LOST A FIGHT, RIGHT!I PATHETIC!" and "I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU." Lola cries, "BE QUIET! HER SHADOW'S ALREADY GONE." Absalom groans, "U... UWAH!!" while others react, "WHAT... WHAT HAPPENED TO US!I" and "...!I HOGBACK...!!!" Hogback declares, "...BUT I'M NOT GOING TO LET MYSELF DIE AS A LOSER! THRILLER BARK IS USELESS TO ME NOW." A masked figure yells, "SHHHHH-HHHH!!! BE QUIET!!! MORIA WAS BEATEN BY STRAWHAT!!" Someone snaps, "KEEP IT DOWN!!! YOUR VOICE IS TOO LOUD, MORON!!!" An old man growls, "WHAT...!I WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DOI"

The group discusses Luffy. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO THANK YOU...!!!" "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT... I CAN REALLY WALK UNDER THE SUN AGAIN..." Sanji recognizes him, "HEY, IT'S THAT OLD MAN WE MET IN THE GRAVEYARD...!!!" The enormous man with the cross shield looms over the crowd, bible raised, as screams erupt: "HE'S HUGE!!!" "HE'S HERE!!!" and "わあああああ" fill the air. Below, the fighters yell desperately: "YOU'RE NO MATCH FOR HIM!!!" "YOU GUYS, STOP!!!" "THERE'S NO WAY I'M GOING TO DIE AT A TIME LIKE THIS!!!" and "DAMN!! JUST WHEN WE THOUGHT WE WERE FREE!!" A voice commands, "GET HIM!!!" while the giant figure towers menacingly.

Combat erupts violently. A swordsman swings wildly as "TON!" sounds and "!!I" reactions flash. The striped-shirt fighter is struck hard, sent flying. "HE DISAPPEARED AGAIN!!" "SOMETHING WENT THROUGH THEM!!" "HE DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH THEM!!!" voices shout amid the dust and impacts. "DOWAAAH!!!" echoes as debris flies. In the next panel the large man with the cross shield declares, "LET'S START WITH YOU..." while a speech bubble states, "PIRATE HUNTER ZORO." A small "!I" reaction appears near the shadowed figure.
