Hadaka Hyakkan

A ruined town square filled with debris and a massive damaged building. Angry voices shout from the crowd: "GET LOST, PERVERT!!", "YOU WRECKED THE TOWN AGAIN!", "PERVERT!!", "PUT YOUR PANTS ON!". A small robot-like figure stands amid rubble with "..." bubbles. In a close-up, Luffy grins and declares, "THEN BE OUR NAKAMA!!!". The long-haired man with a headband glares and snaps, "STRAWHAT!! GIVE ME BACK MY PANTS,". Nearby, a bearded man in a vest crosses his arms saying "HRMMI" while a small creature goes "CHUU CHUU". A tall man with a top hat laughs, "DON'T BE SILLY... DON'T ASSUME YOU CAN MAKE ME YOUR NAKAMA JUST BY TAKING MY PANTS!!" as background figures react with surprise.

HE'S JUST THE BIGGEST PERVERT OUT THERE!!" with SFX "ZRI!!!".

Robin stands with arms crossed, declaring "DOS" and "FLEUR," while a large figure tumbles with "HRMMI" and "FWAH...". She follows with "GRAB." as multiple arms sprout and restrain targets, producing "CHU" sounds. A tall bearded man reacts "HA...!!!" and the top-hatted man questions "NMMI". The scene erupts as a massive monstrous creature with a gaping mouth and wild hair bursts forward in an explosion of debris and impact lines, roaring "HODU-UAAA-AAAAH!!!" and "AAAAA-AARG-GGGH-HHHH!" with SFX "ビキビキビキ!!!" and "PUU!!!" while Luffy's earlier pose echoes in the background chaos.

Panic erupts as voices cry out in alarm. "They'll be smashed, Robin!!!" "She grabbed them!!!" "Hey, Robin!!! Eeee-eh!I" Luffy, Usopp, and Nami stare in horror while Franky screams from the wreckage, "They'll all come off... They'll come off!!! Just like Mikang!!" A massive impact follows with "AAARRG-GGHHH!!!" Below, Robin stands calmly holding the struggling Franky by the neck. "Don't make them come off, okay!I" she says. Franky protests, "It hurts just looking at it!!" while the crowd watches the distant ship. Someone asks, "What is that sad and painful chicken-like scream!I" Another wonders, "What's going onI Franky's getting hurt!I" Robin replies firmly, "Hey, Robin, I want him to be our nakama as a man!!!"

Robin continues, "Then you'd better have some good explanation, otherwise there's no way they'll back off. If you ask a group of pirates to back off in front of a 'treasure.'" Franky, battered and tearful, answers emotionally, "More than I can ever imagine...! I... I'm really thankful to you guys......I said I want to stay on this island!! I... GUA-AAH!!" He explains his dream, "It was my wish... So that ship would be the last ship that I'd ever make!! First of all, I quit being a shipwright already!! That's why I gave you guys a ship!!! But I have stuff to take care of here!!! I want to go with you guys..." Usopp and Robin react in shock as Franky declares, "That is the 'Dream Ship'!!!"

Franky insists, "This ship hasn't become your so-called 'Dream Ship' yet." He continues, "That's right! That ship won't be complete with just the blueprints!!!" A flashback shows young Franky declaring, "I'll get on the ship as a shipwright. One day when I successfully make the best ship, and when it finally arrives at the 'end of the sea'... Then we can call it a 'Dream Ship'!! It'll sail off, cross many seas, overcome many battles and hardships..." The present-day Franky clenches his fist with fiery determination, "The ship would probably be rugged by then... But it'll be shining brighter than any other ship!!! All to see that destined day with my own eyes!!!"

The scene shifts to a bustling shipyard where a large man in a patterned coat laughs heartily. "A dude like you can never exceed Tom-san, Bakanky!" "I wonder if it's the pirate blood." "Yeah, great. You'd exceed me if you became a sailor!" "Doesn't it sound great Tom-sanI" Tom-san himself roars with laughter, "TA HA!!...!!!" Young Franky protests, "WHAAAT!!!I" and retches, "GERO!! GERO!!" In the present, Franky recalls, "Whatever you are doing on this island now... What you want to do...!I No, that's not right. I changed my mind on what I want to do...!!!" Tom-san's words echo, "TA HA...!!! Well, if you're a man, just do your stuff with a don!!" and "That Tom-san was taken away on that day... You are still regretting and blaming yourself."

In the ruined streets of Water 7, a scarred man with a star tattoo stands over the fallen Franky. Speech bubbles recount the past: "THAT TOM-SAN LOVED AS ATONEMENT. EVERYTHING WAS DONE TO PROTECT THIS 'WATER CITY'." Another voice continues, "YOU CALLED YOURSELF A BOUNTY HUNTER AND PROTECTED THIS ISLAND FROM LOOTERS. YOU BROUGHT THOSE PUNKS IN THE BACKSTREET TOGETHER." Franky, on his knees and sobbing, hears the accusation: "YOU QUIT SHIPBUILDING AND SUBDUED YOUR WILL TO LIVE... IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE GONNA DO FOREVERI OF COURSE NOT... THAT WAS NEVER MY INTENTION!!!" The man presses on, "THOUGH, PROBABLY NO ONE LOOKED AT IT THAT WAY." Franky collapses fully, hands pressed to the ground. A close-up shows the man's intense glare as he demands, "...... WHY DON'T YOU..." The narration continues, "PROBABLY NOTHING WILL CHANGE, HUH... EVEN IF TOM-SAN FORGIVES YOU AND I FORGIVE YOU," while Franky lies broken amid the rubble.

Franky's face fills the panel in anguish, tears streaming as he screams, "FRANKY!!!I" A massive close-up shows him clutching his head, sweat and tears flying, with the words "FORGIVE YOURSELF," ringing out. Smaller panels capture the Franky Family's shocked reactions: "OWW WWW..." and "DREAM, RIGHT...I CAN LIVE YOUR OWN... YOU" as they stare in disbelief. Suddenly an enormous explosion erupts with the giant sound effect "ドカーン!!!" Franky is blasted backward amid smoke and debris while the family members are thrown about, one yelling "OWAHH!!!" and another reacting with wide-open mouth "OWWWW!!!" The blast sends bodies flying as the impact shakes the area.

From the top of a staircase, a voice commands, "GET AWAY, FOOLS. YOU GUYS... IT'S LUGGAGE FOR YOUR JOURNEY, BRO!!!" The Franky Family reacts in panic, "GYAAAH, FRANKY FAMILY!!" and "BROOO!!" as a bag is hurled through the air. A figure soars dramatically with the cry, "BROOO!!! PLEASE FORGIVE US, FOR EVERYTHING!!! WE'RE REALLY SORRY!!! WE'RE READY TO ACCEPT ANY PUNISHMENT!!!" Franky stands furious in the wreckage, shouting back, "...... WE'RE IDIOTS, SO WE USED OUR BRAINS TO THE FULLEST AND THOUGHT OF THIS!!!" The family pleads, "WE'RE REALLY SORRY....!! BUT CAN'T WE JUST THINK A BIT ABOUT SOMEONE WHO ADOPTED US RACKETEERS...!I" Franky retorts angrily, "THAT MY MEN PREPAREDI SHAMEFUL!!! HOW CAN I, A BOSS, HAPPILY WALK THE PATH DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO USE THE BRAINS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE!!! WHAT NONSENSE! A WAY TO TAKE MY PANTS AWAY FROM ME!!!I HUH!!I WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT WITH THE BRAINS YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE!!!I DON'T BUTT IN!! IT'S MY LIFE!! I DECIDE EVERYTHING ON MY OWN!!! OR A WAY TO MAKE ME A PIRATE!!I"

Franky looms in extreme close-up, eye wide and sweat flying, yelling "YOUR HAPPINESS!!I CAN'T WE THINK ABOUT" as the family continues to protest. Explosions rock the scene with "ドカーン!!!" and smaller blasts "ドシャッ..." while bodies tumble through the air. Franky Family members cry out in pain, "H-HOGYU-AAAH!!!!" "OUCH!!! OWWW-WWW!!" and "... OW!!" One member flies helplessly with "......!!!" A calm, bandaged man smiles faintly and says "... KUKU." Another panel shows a long-nosed figure grinning, "WHO'S ZE BIGGER FOOLI" as the chaos of punches, debris, and frantic movement fills the ruined street.

Robin stands calmly as her powers twist the body of a berry-bodied man into painful shapes. "THEY'LL ALL COME OFF... JUST LIKE GRAPES!!" the man screams in agony. His face distorts further as he yells, "THEY'LL COME OFF!!!" Robin's expression remains serene while Luffy shouts from the side, "HEY, ROBIN!! ADJUST YOUR POWER, PLEASE!!" The man sobs, "HE'LL BECOME A WOMAN!!" and "HE'S CRYING!!" Luffy watches closely and remarks, "HE'S SNEAKY... BLAMING THE PAIN FOR HIS TEARS." Robin replies softly, "FUFU... I WAS ONLY DOING IT IN THE BEGINNING." The man wails, "IT HURTS SO MUCH THAT I CAN'T STOP CRYING!!! NICO ROBIN, YOU BITCH!! I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!!" A massive impact follows with the man shouting "IT HURTS, IT HURTS!!!" and "SHIT. OWWW-WWWW!!!" as debris flies. Franky appears in the chaos, asking "BRO!! ARE YOU OKAY!I" while Luffy notes, "I'VE NEVER SEEN YOU AROUND... OF COURSE NOT...!!!"

Franky grins widely and declares, "I'M FRANKY. I DECIDED TO TAKE CARE OF WATER 7'S BACKSTREETS. NICE MEETING YA!" The Franky Family cheers in the streets with cries of "ZAMBAI!!" and "UWAH!" A thug sneers, "WHO'S THIS SPEEDO DUDEI DON'T ACT SO BIG IN THIS BACKSTREET..." Franky rallies his men, shouting "BRING EVERYONE WHO HAS NO FOOD. BROOO!!" The family responds with "GIMME FOOD..." and "YOUNG GIRLS SHOULDN'T BEG FOR BOOZE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY." One member yells, "WHO THE HECK ARE YOU!I" Franky Family members charge forward yelling "BRO..." and "BROO...!!!" The scene erupts into a wild celebration as the family waves weapons and banners reading "FRANKY FAMILY" with shouts of "WOOO HOOO!!!" and "IT'S THE BEGINNING OF FRANKY FAMILY!!! GO ALL OUT WILD!!!"

Franky weeps heavily as he asks, "SURVIVE WITHOUT ME...!I...CAN YOU EVEN..." His men cry out, "BRO..." and "Ugh...!!! OWWW!!! TEARS ARE COMING OUT!!!" One replies, "EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE GOING FAR AWAY, WE'LL ALWAYS BE YOUR MEN!!!" Another adds, "WE'LL DO OUR BEST TO OUR POWER TOGETHER AND SUCCEED THE HIDDEN FACE OF WATER 7!!!" Franky sobs, "BROOO!!!" while his men shout, "BRO, DON'T CRY." and "LEAVE IT TO US." Sanji appears with a cigarette, exclaiming, "THE SITUATION IS GETTING WORSE!!!" Luffy calls out, "LUFFY!!" as Zoro and Sanji are spotted in the distance. A voice urges, "HURRY UP!!" while another notes, "THIS ISN'T GOOD..."

On the ship, Luffy panics, "HOW WOULD WE KNOWI WE WOULDN'T GET CAUGHT HERE!!" Usopp yells, "EEH!I WHY!I" A crewmate warns, "THEY ALREADY TOOK THE OFFENSIVE ON THE COAST OVER THERE AND ARE LOOKING FOR US!!! YOUR GRANDPA'S COMING FAR AWAY, LUFFY!!!" Franky appears dramatically, shouting "FRANKY!!!" as he leaps aboard. Luffy spots him and calls, "WHOA, FRANKY!! YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN YOUR PANTS BACK YET!I" Franky lands and yells, "NOW, GET ON MY SHIP." The crew reacts with surprise as the ship prepares to depart amid the ongoing chaos.

Luffy grins widely atop the balcony, declaring, "THIS EXCELLENT SHIP IF IT DIDN'T HAVE A SHIPWRIGHT." Below, an unseen speaker sneers, "YOU'RE AMATEURS WHO CAN ONLY DO POOR TOUCHUP JOBS. I'D PITY NONE OF YOUR CHEEK!!" followed by a sly "... HEE HEE HEE." Franky bursts into the foreground with a massive close-up, arms raised, shouting "WOO HOOOO!!! I, FRANKY, WILL BE THE SHIPWRIGHT FOR YOUR SHIP!!! ALL RIGHT!! I'LL TAKE CARE OF IT!!!" The Straw Hats cheer from the railing as the text "OUR NEW NAKAMA!!!" appears. In the lower panels, a large foot steps onto the shore while Franky tearfully vows, "TOM-SAN, I'M COUNT ON THIS ISLAND....!!!" Usopp and others cry out, "WE CAN COUNT ON STRAW-HAT-SAN. DON'T CRY...!!! DON'T CRY!!" A small figure sobs, "BRO....!!" as the emotional farewell unfolds.

Iceburg faces the Galley-La foremen, who call out "YOUNG'UNS OF GALLEY-LA." He reflects, "BUT THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF ME!! I WAS A POOR STUDENT, WHO CAUSED A LOT OF TROUBLE." Turning to the men he adds, "I CAUSED A LOT OF TROUBLE FOR YOU, TOO... TAKE GOOD CARE OF ICEBURG!!" The scene shifts to a lively crowd in Water 7 shouting "WHERE ARE YOU GOING!I YOU'RE COMING BACK, RIGHTI LIVELY CITIZENS. PER-VERT!" Yokozuna the frog cries "YOKO-ZUNA-!!!" while the Franky Family members react with "SHRIMP, AND RABBIT. KOKORO-HAG," "SODOM! AND GOMORRAH," and "MY SISTERS..." The page ends on a wide emotional panel of the tearful Franky Family waving goodbye, with Iceburg's face in close-up sweating heavily.

A massive splash page shows the Thousand Sunny launching violently from the Galley-La dock. Franky yells from off-panel, "I'M GONNA BE AWAY FOR A WHILE!!!"
