A devastated landscape of ruins and a withered tree stretches under cloudy skies. Narration boxes state: THERE'S NO WAY THERE'D BE ANY. and SURVIVORS...I Marines in caps and coats survey the area from a cliff. One exclaims THIS... while another reacts with!I A third says LOOK AT... THIS LAKE... and HEY... The view reveals a massive crater-like lake filled with floating books. SFX rumble ゴゴゴゴ as one marine asks IS IT... A COINCIDENCEI and another notes THE LAKE'S FILLED WITH... BOOKS...

A young dark-haired girl stands with a serious expression. A voice says YES... USING "SUSPICIOUS GIRL" AS A CLUE, while another shouts THIS IS DEFINITELY HER!! and THIS IS HER!!! A flashback shows a cloaked figure gesturing: FROM THE BURNING OHARA WITH A BOAT!!! A Marine captain exclaims IT'S TRUE, I SAW THE BRAT ESCAPING and WE FOUND HER ON A PASSENGER BOAT THAT HAD DEPARTED FROM AN ISLAND FAR NORTHEAST OF OHARA. BUT WE LOST HER AGAIN SHORTLY AFTER... Another Marine clutches his head: BUT WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO CHASE HER, MY HELM SUDDENLY FROZE UP AND WOULDN'T MOVE...!!! A World Government flag appears as voices argue DON'T DELIBERATE ON A METHOD! The suited man rages, "FORGETTING ALL THE KINDNESS SHE'S RECEIVED 'TIL NOW, DAMN IT!!! SHIT...!! THAT BRAT OVERHEARD US!I SHE'S NOT IN THE ROOM...!!" and "LOOK FOR HER!!!" Rain pours as Robin flees barefoot through the storm. She encounters a large spotted creature that says "BOW!!!" and later meets Jaguar D. Saul, who declares, "I KNOW A GREAT DEAL ABOUT YOU, NICO ROBIN." Robin, tearful, answers, "I'M SORRY... I DON'T HAVE ANY FOOD. I'LL KEEP YOU AS AN APPRENTICE, AND IN RETURN, PROVIDE YOU WITH FOOD." Saul shows her wanted poster and notes, "I'M ON THE WANTED LIST, TOO..." Chaos erupts as townsfolk and pirates shout, "ROBIN!!!" "DAMN IT!!! IT'S BECAUSE SHE'S ONBOARD...!!" "WHERE'S ROBIN!!I HAND HER OVER!!!" "IT'S THE MARINE HEADQUARTERS!!!" "OOH...!! SAVE ME!!!" and "THAT PLAGUED BRAT!!!"

Angry villagers brandish weapons and yell, "GET OUTTA MY STORE!!!" "I'VE GOT NOTHING TO SELL YOU!!!" "NICO ROBIN IS IN THIS TOWN!!I" "YOUR MERE EXISTENCE IS A SIN!!!" Jaguar D. Massive towers loom over the island as Saul warns, "IF YOU ALONG WITH ENIES LOBBY... YOU'LL BE BLOWN UP, TOO... ASK FOR THE BUSTER CALL NOW..." A Marine officer holding a white pigeon declares, "THAT IS THE 'BUSTER CALL'...!!" Another Marine shouts, "YOU'LL BE BLOWN UP, TOO..." and "TWENTY YEARS AGO... JUST ONE ATTACK TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME." A long-haired man with a scar yells, "WHAT'RE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!I" while a masked figure screams, "DON'T BE SILLY!! HOW COULD WE BE BLOWN UP BY OUR OWN ALLIES' ATTACK!I" The Buster Call is officially invoked amid rising tension.

Spandam yells furiously, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW BIG OF AN ORGANIZATION IS AFTER HER!!I" and "DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW YOU ARE TO STAND AGAINST US!!I". A massive diagram of the World Government symbol appears with the text "IN THE FOUR SEAS AND THE GRAND LINE...!!! THIS IS THE WORLD!!!" and "THAT MARK REPRESENTS THE UNITY OF OVER 170 NATIONS". Below, Luffy stands determined on the bridge, saying "I UNDERSTAND ROBIN'S ENEMY VERY WELL!" while Spandam mutters "SOGEKING...".

Luffy reacts with shock as someone shouts "ROGER!!" and "THAT FLAG." "SHOOT". Usopp, wearing his Sogeking mask, prepares his weapon with the text "HISSATSU...
