Usopp leans forward with wide eyes and an open mouth, sweat flying as he shouts, "COMIN' THIS WAY -----!!!!" A large speech bubble beside him warns, "HEY, HEY!!! THERE'S A FREAKIN' GIANT HIGH TIDE CALLED AQUA LAGUNA". In the next panel Chopper, wearing his hat, yells in panic, "AT AROUND MIDNIGHT!!! THE BEACH IS GONNA GO 'BLOOP'!!!" while another bubble adds, "YEAH, YEAH!!! THIS TOWN'S GONNA SINK". Below, a small panel shows distant figures glancing at each other with "....." and "<glances>" text. Usopp continues desperately, "YEAH, YEAH!!! WE GOTTA TAKE REFUGE!!!" and "REFUGE!!! REFUGE!!!" as large sound effects "わああ" and "あ ああ" burst around him. He clutches his head, shouting, "THIS'S BAD!!! WE CAN'T JUST STAND AROUND DOING NOTHING!!! WE GOTTA GET TO A HIGHER PLACE!!!"

Large stylized sound effects "ビュオオオ" rumble across the sky while an unseen voice mutters "......" A small "!" reaction bubble appears below. In a closer panel, a goggled man with a long nose and overalls reacts in surprise: "WHAT WAS THAT CONVERSATION...I" More "ヒュオ" and "...I" sounds fill the air. Suddenly a violent explosion erupts in the distance with "すぱぱぱ" and panicked shouts of "RUN AWAY....!!!" The goggled man stares in shock. Below, the Going Merry sails through turbulent waters as its figurehead looks on. A crewmember notes, "NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT, THE WIND'S KINDA STRONG TODAY..." while another adds, "SOMETHING ABOUT A HIGH TIDE..." Massive "ビュオオ" and "オオオオ" wind effects blast the ship. On the far right, Luffy stares upward with wide eyes and an open mouth as fierce wind "ッッッ" slams into him.

Chaos erupts across the city streets. A large "わあああああ" scream fills the sky as voices yell "DON'T LET THE ASSASSINS GET AWAY ~~~!!!" and "GET EM!!!" A massive "1" sign stands amid the destruction. In the next panel a furious man with a square jaw grabs a blonde woman by the collar, roaring "DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH US, YOU ASSASSIN!!! HOW DARE YOU SHOOT ICEBERG-SANI!I! I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY!!!" Sweat flies from his face. The blonde woman struggles desperately, shouting "STOP IT!! LET GO OF ME!! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!" Behind them, another man watches with a shocked expression. In the wide lower panel, Luffy stands with his back to the viewer, arms slightly spread, facing a group of armed men. He protests "WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!!" while someone else shouts "HEY!! STOP IT!!!" and another growls "DAMN!!" A tall muscular man and a man with a target shirt stand among the crowd as "....." lingers in a speech bubble.

Luffy stares in shock from the foreground, sweat flying, and exclaims, "THEY'RE SO INTENSE ABOUT THIS!! DAMN." A colossal blast labeled "ドォッカァァン!!!" hurls the swordsman through the air as he yells "WAA AAH!!!" Below, the tattooed man with the bird watches the scene and notes, "THAT WAS CLOSE." The goggled fighter replies, "NAH, HE GOT AWAY." In the distance a crowd of onlookers cheers wildly, one shouting "BULLS-EYE!!!" while another yells "WOW!!!" amid rising smoke and debris.

Luffy is slammed hard against wooden crates and beams, ropes snapping around him as he cries out "WAH!". His body twists from the heavy impact. In the next instant a barrage of strikes lands, sending debris flying with massive impact SFX "ドドドド" and "ドンッ!!!". Luffy's face twists in pain as he grunts "UGH..." while being driven back. The muscular fighter with a weapon follows through, and Luffy is hurled violently through the air, shouting "WHOA!!!" as the force carries him away.

Luffy crashes through a wooden wall with a huge impact "ギャキッ!!!", debris exploding outward. He gasps for breath "HAA" as he is flung back again by another strike "ビンタン". Barely able to stand, Luffy clutches his body and shouts "DAMN, I CAN'T MOVE!" while small reaction sounds "グキッ" and "WAH" escape him. A cannon fires from the distance with a sharp "バン!!!", the projectile streaking toward him. The page ends on a massive distant explosion "ビッグォォォン!!" that shakes the ground, smoke and debris billowing high as a lone figure watches from afar.

A massive crowd erupts in shock and fury as Luffy is struck and sent flying. Voices scream "THEY GOT HIM!!!" and "Luffy!!" while fists pump and bodies surge forward. In the next tier of panels the mob roars with bloodthirsty glee: "WE'RE IN A REALLY GOOD MOOD RIGHT NOW!" "YEAH, HE CAN JUST GO FLYING AWAY FOR ALL I CARE!!" "AHA HAHA HA!!" "YIA AAA AY!!!" The scene shifts to a tense standoff near a stone building. A tall, scarred man from the Galley-La Company glares and bellows, "THIS IS JUST WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR PROUD GALLEY-LA COMPANY!!!" Behind him another voice protests, "AND I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FIRST ONE TO FIGHT HIM!" "NO, NO, NO, BUT SEE... THAT STRAW HAT MIDGET'S SUPPOSED TO BE HATED BY THE FRANKIES!" The scarred man snaps back, "SO, AS I SAID, DON'T COME STEALING MY PREY, YOU BASTARDS, RIGHT..."

Franky is hurled through the air amid a massive explosion of debris and impact lines. An enraged voice demands, "SO HOW MANY TIMES'RE YOU GONNA MAKE ME SAY ITII!!!" A Galley-La member calls out, "JUST WAIT A BIT. WE'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU WHEN WE'RE DONE WITH HIM." The crowd chants "GALLEY-LA!!!!!" In the lower panels Franky, bruised and determined, mutters "CONNECTOR SET..." Panic spreads as onlookers shout "FRANKY IS GONNA DO SOMETHING REALLY BAD!!!" "RUN AWAY, GAL-LEY-LA!!!" "PAULIE, WATCH OUT!!!" Paulie roars at Franky, "I'M ASKIN'...!!! WHY ARE YOU TAKIN' MY PREY...I!" Franky answers coldly, "NO!! YOU KNOW WHATI FINE, I DON'T THINK YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WITH WORDS ALONE..."

Galley-La workers spot a massive cannon-like object and panic. "A CANNONI" "GALLEY-LA, RUN AWAY!!!" "THE CRANE...I" "HE USED THIS TO BREAK THAT HUGE CRANE EARLIER!!!" Franky takes aim with his massive right arm, declaring "DO IT, BRO~~~~!!" while noting "OH NO, THERE WON'T BE ANY BULLETS COMIN' OUTTA THIS THING." He explains, "ALTHOUGH... IT'S WAY FASTER THAN A NICE BREEZE. IT'S ONLY THE 'AIR BULLET' THAT'S GONNA FLY...." With a fierce expression, Franky unleashes his technique: "COUP DE VENT!!!!!" The blast erupts violently. Onlookers scream "IT'S DANGEROUS! RUN!!!" and "AIRI" as the shockwave strikes, sending figures flying amid "PKKK!!" and agonized cries of "AAAAAAAA HHHHHH!!!!" and "!!!I"

The full force of the attack detonates across the shipyard. Explosive sound effects "ドドドドド!!" and "ガシャン!!" rip through the air as buildings crumble. A voice booms "BE DESTROYED!!!" while another declares "THIS SHIPYARD SHOULD" be leveled. Screams echo "AAAA AHHH HH!!!" The lower panel shows the chaos up close: "THE FIRST DOCK IS COLLAPSING!!!" and "EVEN THE UNFINISHED GALLEON....!!" as debris flies and the ground splits apart.

WITH MY COUP DE VENT." Nearby figures reply, "NAH. THEY RAN AWAY, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO CHASE THEMI" A close-up reveals the man's fierce grin as he laughs, "MWAHA HAHA," and continues, "SO HE REALLY IS WORTH 100 MIL. HE'S GONNA BE TOUGH. WE WERE INTER-RUPTED. I'LL MAKE HIM DISAPPEAR AFTER I REFUEL."

A goggled man adds, "BUT WE CAN'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS... TONIGHT IS THE AQUA LAGUNA. OTHER THAN THE TWO TRAINS GOING OUT TODAY, THERE ARE NO OTHER WAY OF GETTING OFF THE ISLAND." The leader declares, "WE'LL GET THIS OVER WITH BEFORE DAWN. HAVE THE GALLEY-LA EMPLOYEES SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE ISLAND." Below, the great tower of Water Seven rises as small figures cry "NYAA NYAA" "WATER SEVEN!!!" "DON'T GET TOO EXCITED NOW!!! GAGAGA!" "GRAMMA! GRAMMA!" while a dramatic sound effect rips across the sky.
