END OF THE GAME

A close-up shows a hand gripping a neck as a voice shouts, "BOSS IS SENT SOARING IN THE SKY!!!" In the next panel a massive impact sends a large round-bodied figure flying backward through the air with limbs flailing; a small cat-like creature clings nearby. Text declares "LUFFY'S GAME-ENDING PUNCH ----!!!" Below, a crowd of spectators on the ground stares upward in shock, several figures yelling "BOSS!!!" with mouths wide open.

A huge splash erupts as the ship tilts violently; massive Japanese SFX read ドボーン!! with the note SFX: SPLASH. In the following row a long-haired figure with goggles screams, a spotted creature gapes, a dark-skinned man glares, a curly-haired man shouts with mouth agape, and a small round figure sweats in panic. The bottom panels show the ship half-submerged and a whirlpool forming on the water's surface with bubbles labeled GURU and GURA.

Narration boxes set the scene outside the battle area: "...OUTSIDE THE BATTLE-FIELD!" and "THE POINT OF LANDING IS..." More boxes recount the fight: "OUR BOSS, FOXY, HAS TRAGICALLY FALLEN AFTER 920 STRAIGHT WINS.", "THE CAPTAIN VS CAPTAIN COMBAT ROUND,", "FOR THE FATEFUL BATTLE OF THE THIRD ROUND OF THIS DAVY BACK FIGHT," and "THE WINNER OF THIS ROUND IS..." with empty bubbles. In the final panels a bloodied curly-haired man with X marks on his chest cries "......!!" while Luffy's face fills the frame, shouting "...I DIE!!!" "EVEN IF..." "I WON'T LET YOU HAVE..." "ANY OF MY NAKAMA..." SFX: HEH... HEH...

In the massive arena, Luffy stands victorious atop the central platform with arms raised high as the crowd erupts. Massive impact lettering "DON!!!" shakes the stands while huge stylized Japanese characters and the SFX "WAAAAAH---" fill the air. Voices from the stands shout "LUFFY!!!" and "STRAW HAT". Below, the Straw Hat crew celebrates wildly. Nami (labeled "ROXY") cheers with arms up, Usopp and Chopper wave excitedly, and a voice calls out "THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL, LUFFY!!!" as the crew jumps and pumps their fists. SFX "DING DONG DING DING" rings out alongside "DON!!" impacts.

Foxy Pirates panic on the stands. One cries "NO, I'LL GO, TOO!!" while another shouts "OK!! I'LL GO!!" and "WAAH!!". A crewmate yells "DON'T JUST STAND THERE!! GO SAVE BOSS!!!" and "EVEN OUR BOSS... LOSTII!". The label "STRAW HAT PIRATES" and "FOXY PIRATES VS" appear. The massive ship structure collapses violently with SFX "バキバキバキバキ!!" and "わあああ". A speech bubble declares "...FIGHT IS OVER ---!!!" under the Three Coin Rule. The damaged ship tilts and crashes as debris flies. In the final panels the Foxy captain is shown defeated with SFX "ゴリリ ゴリリ" and a desperate cry of "BOSS!!!".

The ruined arena stands quiet under scattered clouds. In a calmer area the crew gathers around the resting Luffy. Nami says "I WAS SCARED, TOO. ALL THAT TALK ABOUT THE AFRO MAKING YOU STRONG...". Sanji snaps "YOU'RE POKING TOO HARD! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL CAPTAINI!" while Usopp points and shouts "YOU!! YOU!!" and "YOU REALLY MADE ME WORRY, BACK THERE!!!". Nami adds "NAMI-SAN DOES MAKE YOU STRONG!". Luffy lies on the ground with SFX "ピタッ..." and "PADA". He slowly wakes, muttering "WAS I DREAMINGII" and "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FIGHTI DIDN'T I WINI". Someone replies "RELAX. YOU WON." as Luffy sits up with a dazed "HN..." and the crew reacts with relief.

Luffy lies in the grass laughing loudly, saying "THAT'S GOOD...". The crew stands around him smiling. Robin chuckles "HEE HEE...". Zoro mutters "I THOUGHT ABOUT IT. IF I LEFT THIS SHIP, I'D HAVE NO POINT IN BEING A PIRATE ANYMORE. MY ASS." while Sanji adds "I WASN'T WORRIED FOR A SECOND." Chopper cheers "YUP." and Nami smiles softly. In the background the Foxy Pirates approach; their captain shouts "IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU THAT I'VE LOST MY PERFECT RECORD..." and "BOSS!!". Luffy calls out "HEY. STRAW HAT!!" as the Foxy crew yells "YOU SHOULD BE RES-TING!! BOSS!" with motion lines and SFX "ガァ..." and "ギャァ...".

Luffy stares in wide-eyed surprise as Foxy looms over him with a confident grin. Foxy extends a hand and declares, "BROTHER." and "NOT BAD." In the stands, masked crew members react with shock as someone shouts "BOSS" twice. Foxy suddenly grabs Luffy, yelling "IDIOT." With a powerful motion he performs an "OVERHEAD THROW OF VENGEANCE!!!" and roars "EAT THIS!!!" Luffy is hurled violently through the air amid heavy impact effects. SFX: DON!! SHOO---

The crowd erupts as the announcer declares, "THE WINNER, CAPTAIN STRAW HAT, GETS TO TAKE A NEW CREW MEMBER!!!" and "THAT'S RIGHT! THE LAST PART OF THE GAME STILL NEEDS DECIDING!!" Foxy snaps, "WHAT DO YOU WANTII" while another voice urges, "LET'S JUST GET THIS OVER WITH." "FINE!" The Foxy Pirates discuss options: "THEY SEEM TO BE LOOKING FOR A CARPENTER." "OR--- THE DOWN RIGHT SEXY CARPENTER, GINA-CHANII" "OR WILL THEY PICK THE BATTLE-READY MECHANIC, DONOVANI" "IN THAT CASE, WILL THEY TAKE THE LEADER OF OUR 50-MEN MECHANIC TEAM, SONIEHI" The masked woman Gina says, "I WANT MY CHOPPY BACK..." while Foxy sweats and growls, "NOW PLEASE DECIDE." The crew reacts with tension and one member exclaims "PUFFFF" as another voice trails "SHAA..."

Luffy grins broadly and announces, "I CHOOSE YOUR FLAG." The crowd gasps in shock as the massive impact SFX: GAAAN!!! echoes. A giant Foxy Pirate looms in the background while spectators react with "WHATI!!" Foxy's face twists in horror as he screams, "YOU'RE... EVIL!!! YOU DIDN'T EVEN GIVE IT A THOUGHT AND YOU WANT TO ROB US OF OUR PRIDE!!!" Nami stands nearby with a sweat drop saying "PHEW..." while Usopp pleads, "HEY, LUFFY!! THINK AGAIN! ISN'T SEXY GINA-CHAN A LOT BETTERI" Luffy replies cheerfully, "YOU WON'T GET ANOTHER CHANCE AT THIS!!!"

The Foxy Pirates protest loudly: "YEAH!! STOP PRETENDING TO BE NICE! JUST TAKE EVERYTHING!!!" "BUT OUR SYMBOL IS IN OUR SAIL, TOO! WE WON'T BE ABLE TO USE THAT!!" Foxy adds, "HEHI HOW THOUGHT-FUL..." Luffy looks worried as Foxy continues, "OTHERWISE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO LEAVE YOUR SAIL. JUST THE FLAG, RIGHTII" Foxy then offers, "STRAW HAT... YOU'RE... SO NICE... THAT WAY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE YOUR SAIL. THEN I'LL GIVE YOU A NEW ONE. I'LL JUST ERASE YOUR SYMBOL FOR YOU." Luffy stares in stunned silence. The note reads: THE INSCRIPTION ON THE SAIL IS KITSUNE (FOX). In the final panel the altered sail is revealed with a fox-like jolly roger as Luffy says, "OK. DONE." while someone shouts, "THAT'S HORRIBLE!!!" Heavy SFX and impact lines fill the scene.

The Davy Back Fight reaches its chaotic finale. Chopper clings desperately to a fleeing figure, crying out, "CHOPPY! JUST ONE MORE HUG ---!!" The figure screams, "NOOO OO---" while Luffy laughs heartily nearby, declaring, "NO, WE'RE NOT!!! THEY LOOK SO GRATEFUL, TOO!!" SFX of PANG! PANG! PANG! and RAGE fill the panels as the crowd cheers wildly. A massive announcement erupts across the arena: "THE DAVY BACK FIGHT WILL NOW OFFICIALLY END!!! THE WINNER IS... THE STRAW HAT CREW!!" The Going Merry sits triumphantly in the center as the crew celebrates their victory amid roaring cheers and confetti-like effects.

The Straw Hats cheer as the Going Merry is freed, with someone shouting, "HOORAY!!! GOING MERRY IS FREE AGAIN!!" Luffy reacts with surprise, "HMI" while Foxy Pirates members confront them aggressively, yelling, "HEY!! STRAW HAT!!" and "I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!!!" SFX of WAA- and YEAH-----!!!! punctuate the tension. One crew member observes calmly, "THEY NEVER GIVE UP, DO THEYI" as the Straw Hats stand together on the shore, watching the ship and the persistent rivals in the background.

The scene shifts to a quiet grassy area near a large round building. A man sits beside a bandaged white horse named Sherry, reassuring it, "HAHAHA, DON'T WORRY. YOU WAITED TEN WHOLE YEARS FOR ME." The horse responds weakly, "HIHI---N" and "SHERRY..." The man continues, "THEN WE'LL CATCH UP WITH THE OTHERS TOGETHER....UNTIL YOU'RE HEALED. I'LL KEEP WAITING... NOW IT'S MY TURN." In the distance, a small figure reacts with "HMI" and "OKAY. OKAY!" while the horse whinnies, "HIHI--N" and footsteps sound "ZA ZA."

Luffy and the Straw Hats approach the man and Sherry. Luffy says, "YOU GUYS..." as the crew notes, "WE KICKED THEIR ASS." The man, injured, replies, "THIS IS NOTHING." Luffy insists, "YOU'RE HURT PRETTY BAD, YOURSELF." He then tends to Sherry, declaring, "I'LL CHANGE THE BANDA-GES. SHERRY," while the horse whinnies happily, "HIHIN--" and "HE HE." The man smiles gratefully, "THANK YOU..." SFX of BA LA and HEE accompany the warm exchange as the crew stands nearby.

Nami stands with a slight smile as voices argue nearby. Someone shouts, "HEY! RESPECT YOUR CAPTAIN!" Another retorts, "BUT AN IDIOT LIKE YOU WOULD'VE ACCEPTED IT EITHER WAY." Nami replies calmly, "SO THIS IS WHY YOU ACCEPTED THE CHALLENGE. I SEE..." In the next scene a large-headed man with a black hat grins widely while a figure in a straw hat and another with a mask stand nearby. The large-headed man says, "I'M AN EASY-GOING GUY. I'M NOT IN A HURRY." The masked figure answers, "NO PROBLEM. NO PROBLEM." Nami gestures toward the distance and asks, "NO... THESE TEN ISLANDS ARE ACTUALLY THE SAME ONE. THE GUIDE POST WON'T POINT TO THEM INDIVIDUALLY. WHY DON'T WE TAKE YOU TO YOUR PEOPLE ON OUR SHIPII" The large-headed man suddenly reacts with shock as an impact SFX "どすん!" erupts. He demands, "WHAT DO YOU HAVEI THAT CHEESE AGAINI" A voice offers, "ALLOW ME TO TREAT YOU WITH SOME-THING NICE!" Another adds, "SINCE YOU'RE ALL HERE, LET'S SEE... THESE MUST BE YOUR FRIENDSI!" Laughter rings out, "HAHAH!" as the group stands before a large domed building.

A towering man with an afro, sleep mask, and white suit stands motionless with a "ZZZZ" sound effect above him. Onlookers react in surprise. One asks, "IT'S A PERSONI!" Another exclaims, "WA!! WHAT... IS THATI" Nami wonders, "WAS HE THERE THE WHOLE TIMEI" A close-up shows the man's face as he startles awake with "HUHI!!" The tall man then looms over the group, his coat billowing. The straw-hatted figure shouts, "THAT'S WHAT WE WERE ASKING YOU!!!" while another demands, "WHO THE HECK ARE YOUI!" The large-headed man adds nervously, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE A TREE..."

Robin stares in shock, gasping "AH... AH..." and "EH!I" while a massive SFX "どさっ...!!" signals collapse. The tall man stands with one hand raised as several characters react with surprise. Close-ups show wide eyes and the question "THEY KNOW EACH OTHERI" Nami asks, "WHAT'S WRONG, ROBIN-CHANI" The tall man smiles broadly and says, "ARARARARA... YOU SURE HAVE GROWN TO A FINE YOUNG WOMAN..." He addresses her directly: "ROBIN NICO." A panel reveals his identity with the label "MARINE MAIN BASE →GENERAL← AOKIJI" and the chapter title "ONE PIECE".
