Love Song

High in the sky, a massive dark cloud formation crackles with residual energy. A huge vertical sound effect “OOOHHH” stretches across the panel. Below, close-ups show Nami with a worried expression saying “Ah…”, Usopp looking shocked with “!I”, and a wide panel of the Going Merry where someone shouts “What just happened…!I” Another voice exclaims “The condensed ball of lightning just… disappeared!” On the deck Luffy’s head bursts from the lion figurehead roaring “LUFFY!” while the crew cheers “HELL YEAH!” as the ship sails through the clouds.

In the ruins of Shandora, a fierce warrior’s face appears with sweat and a question mark. A massive snake coils through the broken stone structures. Center panel erupts with impact lines as a kneeling figure ignites a massive flame; bold text declares “LIGHT THE FLAME OF SHANDORA!” and “RING IT! STRAW HAAAT!!!” Below, a small winged girl shouts “LET US HEAR THE SONG OF THE ISLAND!” while Shandian warriors wave flags and a voice calls “Let us hear it, boy…”

A massive impact SFX “ビュオオオオオオオ” and “！！！！” shakes the panel as Luffy is hurled through the air toward the massive belfry of the Ark Maxim. In close-up Luffy’s face beams with determination, declaring “ALRIGHT, THEN! IT’S TIME TO RING IT UP ALONG WITH YOU!” Beside him, Wyper’s intense glare and gritted teeth show his resolve as the two prepare to strike the legendary bell together.

A massive electrical explosion erupts as Luffy is struck. "YOU IMPUDENT MONKEY FROM THE BLUE SEAS!" someone yells. Enel, his face twisted in rage behind his mask, snarls, "RUIN MY RAIGOU...! HOW DARE YOU..." The attack builds to a devastating climax. "200 MILLION VOLTS!" Enel declares as lightning surges. Luffy's body is engulfed in crackling energy, his arms outstretched. "AMARU!" the massive technique is unleashed, sending shockwaves and debris flying across the battlefield.

Enel continues his assault, declaring, "THAT WHEN THE BELL RINGS AGAIN, IT'LL SOUND THE END OF THE WAR!I DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE CLINGING ONTO THAT STUPID RUMOUR." Luffy, battered but defiant, shouts, "W-WHAT'S THE HECK IS THAT!I YOU'LL RING THE GOLDEN BELL!I" Enel retorts, "I AM A GOD! YOU'RE JUST A MEASLY PARAMECIA ABILITY USER! WITH MY LOGIA POWERS, THE STRONGEST CLASS OF DEVIL FRUIT ABILITIES, THERE'S NO WAY I COULD EVER LOSE TO YOU!" He strikes with a massive lightning fist, "ZAP!" Luffy is sent flying. Enel mocks, "WHAT KIND OF GOD..." while Nami watches in horror. Luffy growls through the pain, "I told you before that won't work!" as he dashes back into the fray.

Luffy is hurled backward, bloodied and pierced, "NGHH!" dripping from his wounds. Enel laughs triumphantly, "HOOOTTT! AHHHHH! YAHA HAHA! WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW, RUBBER MAN!I THERE'S NO PLACE TO RUN!" Nami cries out desperately, "LUFFY!" Enel presses his advantage, "YOUR OUTSTRETCHED ARM IS ONLY DRIVING THE TRIDENT DEEPER INTO YOUR BODY!" and threatens, "AS WELL AS THIS COUNTRY! I CAN ALWAYS MAKE ANOTHER RAIGOU! YOU'VE DONE WELL IN COMING ALL THE WAY UP HERE... BUT IT'S THE END FOR YOU, BUT IF YOU TRY TO RUN, THEN YOU'LL ONLY FALL TO YOUR DOOM!"

Nami weeps, "IS SKY ISLAND... GOING TO DISAPPEARI LUFFY..." Luffy grits his teeth in pain. Enel sneers, "AHH, SO YOU CHOSE TO FALL, DID YOUI" as he drives the trident deeper, "GAHH!" Luffy is slammed into the ground amid debris. Nami screams, "LUFFY!" Enel cackles wildly, "YAHAHA HAHAHA!" while Luffy lies defeated among the rubble.

Luffy's face fills the panel, eyes wide and teeth gritted as he yells desperately, "GET AWAY FROM THERE! NAMI!" Below, the long-eared opponent smirks and taunts, "WHAT!I DON'T GET COCKY, EARLOBES!" Luffy stretches his arm back in a furious Gomu Gomu stance, shouting "GOMU GOMU NO..." as a massive black sphere hurtles forward on a stretching limb. The foe counters with a powerful strike, sending impact lines and debris flying while Luffy's attack continues its trajectory through the clouds.

Luffy launches himself like a rocket, spinning through the air with "ROCKET!" and "GOMU GOMU NO..." A close-up shows Nami's shocked face watching the clash. The long-eared fighter yells "STILL WON'T GIVE UP!I" as Luffy's stretched limbs whip around him. In the next panel Luffy declares with fierce determination, "I RING THAT BELL! NOT UNTIL," while the opponent sneers, "I'LL SKEWER YOU FOR GOOD THIS TIME... YAHAHA! FINE, I'LL TAKE YOU ON AS MANY AS IT TAKES!"

Nami stands with hand to her chin, pondering, "WHETHER IT'S THE CITY OF GOLD OR SKY ISLAND,...SOME DAY FOR SURE. THERE'S NEVER BEEN A PERSON WHO'S PROVEN THEY DON'T EXIST!" Nearby an old man agrees, "YES, THE HOLY LAND WILL SING ONCE AGAIN." Luffy, wearing a winter hat, shouts "STRAW HATS! THAT WE ARE STILL HERE!" while Nami adds, "I'LL TELL YOU SOON, PLEASE WAIT A LITTLE LONGER." The giant warrior bellows about the City of Gold and Jaya. A crowd reacts with shock as the massive Shandora bell is shown. Narration notes, "It's been 400 years... OF SHANDORA! LIGHT THE FLAME," and a voice states, "What we've sought since then... Was to ring it just one more time..."

Luffy's massive face fills the right side of the page as he screams with all his might. A huge speech bubble erupts beside him: "LET IT RING ALL THE WAY DOOOWN!" Below, the ruined cityscape of Shandora shakes violently. A massive, ancient golden bell, cracked and chained, swings wildly on its massive frame, debris flying everywhere. The bell tolls with a deep, resonant force. Three circular narration bubbles rise from the chaos: "FOR 400 YEARS...", "THE CITY OF GOLD EXISTS!", and "MISTER DIAMOND HEAD! CAN YOU HEAR IT!I" On the left, a close-up shows a fierce, wide-eyed warrior's face reacting in shock. The entire scene vibrates with the bell's power as the legendary sound echoes across the sky.
