Crocodile smirks and says, "You should take better care of your lives... Though I suppose it's too late for that now..." He adds with a sigh, "That's not very smart of you men..." Then he laughs, "Kuhahaha! Then I guess I don't even need to lend a hand, do II If you want to die so badly, do it!" In the background, Chaka and the guards clash violently outside a grand domed building. A guard is struck hard, crying out "GAAH!" while Crocodile watches and mutters, "He won't even... Let them fight..."

CrocodileCommander ChakaTsumegeri Guards

Chaka, now transformed, laughs wildly, "KUHAHAHA! This sight is the very meaning of stupidity!" He stands in full jackal form as Crocodile watches with narrowed eyes, thinking, "How dare he..." Chaka charges, shouting, "YOU VILE SCUM!" and "CHAKA!" Crocodile yells back, "CEASE THIS AT ONCE, CHAKA! YOU CANNOT DIE HERE AS WELL!" The transformation is labeled "Model: Jackal!" and "Inu Inu no Mi." An observer notes, "Oh, a Zoan-user..." Chaka's powerful strikes send debris flying amid dramatic impact effects.

Commander ChakaCrocodile

A massive black jackal-like beast lunges forward with claws extended and jaws open wide. The attack is labeled HOWLING FANGS! (Narikiba) as the creature strikes with tremendous force. Below, a close-up reveals a scarred man with stitches across his face and a cigar in his mouth. He glares sideways and says, "So you're the type to die for others too..." SFX crackle around him as he continues, "I see..." The man’s expression hardens while the jackal’s assault continues above.

ChakaMr. 4

In the ruined streets of Alubarna, large onomatopoeia echo as a voice remarks, "Really..." A bald, muscular man sweats heavily and thinks, "HE GREW SO MUCH...! IN THE SHORT SPAN OF THIS FIGHT..." Elsewhere, a tiny figure dashes across the sand while a speech bubble states, "That would be a waste..." and another wonders, "Cutting diamondsI" The bald man finally drops his head and declares, "I concede defeat..." as the fight ends.

Daz BonesMiss Merry Christmas

A large sign declares Winner: Zoro in the Alubarna North Block fight along the Main Road of the Medi Diet Hall. Zoro kneels exhausted amid rubble, swords planted before him. His thoughts race: "NO ONE DIED, RIGHT...I DAMN, I WISH I COULD FIND OUT... I WONDER HOW THE REST ARE DOING... DID NAMI MANAGE TO RUN AWAY ALRIGHTI" In close-up he pants, "Pant... Pant... Dammit... I lost too much blood..." and adds, "It’s a blessing that the cuts aren’t too deep but... Damn, does it ever hurt..."

Roronoa Zoro

Usopp shouts, "Hey, Usopp!" while a long-nosed man in a cape points dramatically and yells, "ALRIGHT, FINE! But promise me one thing! If we’re in major danger, your ass better come to save ours! Please!" A woman slaps him, crying, "ARE YOU GUYS MAKING LIGHT OF HOW WEAK I REALLY AM!I" Sanji appears and asks, "What the hell are you cryin’ forI" A later panel shows a bandaged figure as someone exclaims, "LUFFY WAS DEAD! SHE SAID THAT..."

UsoppSanji

Sanji glares over his shoulder while lighting a cigarette. "Really gonna believe that crapI Are you two idiots." Chopper stares in wide-eyed shock, sweat flying. "C... Could it be true...I" Sanji turns with a calm smirk. "If that's the case, then our job right now's to get to the palace ASAP! So stop sniffling already." A sudden explosion rocks the street as voices shout "YEAH, STUPID! I DON'T BELIEVE IT AT ALL! OF COURSE AS HELL NOT! DON'T BE STUPID!" Nami questions a hooded figure, "How much are you planning to extort from this country!I" The hooded person replies, "That's right! And if you wanna say thanks to a pirate, it'll be with shiny goods, if you catch my drift!" Vivi clutches a rose and bows her head. "IT'S STILL TOO EARLY FOR THANKS. THANK YOU EVERYONE." The group dashes down the ruined avenue as the sound "DASH DASH" echoes.

SanjiTony Tony ChopperNamiNefertari Vivi

Nami stares ahead with a grim expression. "The rebels have already penetrated this far into the city..." In the deserted street a lone woman stands amid rubble. "So this is what he meant by an attack that can only used once..." She sighs in relief. "Whew, I finally managed to untangle it." A fierce battle erupts as soldiers clash with a rearing horse and rider; impact sounds "DOKAN!" and "GUGOOO..." fill the air. Sanji smiles faintly. "Yes, okay..." Chaka growls through clenched teeth, "That guy eats a WHOLE CRAP-LOAD of food after a battle..." The woman continues walking. "And you'd do well remembering this one thing if nothing else... But right now, I gotta get to the palace!" She adds, "The situation may have changed."

NamiSanjiChaka

A massive mouth bellows "OKAAAY!" while another voice calls, "We'll be waiting for you at Alubarna!" Several figures on giant birds take flight from a cliffside city. "We'll join up back at the palace!" "Time to take off!" "This is it, boys! Don't stumble now!" The birds soar away with cries of "QUACK QUACK" and "HIYAAA!!" Below in the streets, a large furry creature lies motionless. Nami grips her staff and looks up in alarm. Chopper, now in a larger form wearing a top hat, rides a horse down the avenue while Sanji sprints alongside. Loud sound effects "WAAAPPP..." rumble through the city.

NamiTony Tony ChopperSanji

At the palace gates, soldiers and citizens panic as spears and arrows fly. Someone cries out, "Commander Chaka!I" Inside the hall a guard shouts in terror, "This can't be happening... The rebels are pressing right behind us now!" Another soldier clutches his head. "This has to be a nightmare..." Chaka, bloodied and staggering, growls "...NGHH!" while impact sounds "PATA... PATA..." mark his steps. In extreme close-up his eyes blaze as he roars "CHAKAAA!"

Chaka

A towering figure in a long black coat looms over a fallen winged warrior sprawled on stone steps. The massive man raises a gleaming hook and declares, "TO BE WEAK... IS A SIN..." while the warrior lies motionless beneath him. SFX "ゴォォォォォ..." rumble across the panel. Below, a close-up shows Vivi's shocked face as she gasps, "HuhI" A small inset reveals a distant view of the palace square with crosses and a startled reaction. Someone shouts, "VIVI!!" The bottom of the page displays a large ornate clock with Roman numerals. Its hands point near the hour as it ticks "カチ..カチ.." A sign reads "Time left until Palace Square Explosion:" and another box states "25 Minutes."

Oda's SBS page opens with a hypnotic wheel and fan letter from the Shironeko Pirate Crew about gyudon and hypnosis. Oda replies he got hypnotized and screams "RAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! START THE SBS!!" He then answers a question about One Piece volume release patterns: volumes come in repeating 2, 2, then 3 month cycles. Oda corrects two mistakes from Volume 21, admits he forgot to include "Crocus-san" in the Culpit Quiz before Chapter 190, and mentions redrawing the SBS title art under a spell of Crocus Fever. He ends by saying "Okay, let's continue the SBS."
