The Town of Dreams, Rainbase

Narration boxes state: "Time remaining before Operation Utopia:" and "The sun sets and rises again." Small figures trek across vast sand dunes toward a distant town with domed buildings and towers. Speech bubbles read: "That must be Rainbase!", "I see it!", "1 hour.", and "We're finally here!I" The desert landscape stretches under a bright sky with scattered clouds.

Luffy yells with mouth wide open, "ALRIIIIIGHT! TIME TO KICK CROCODILE'S ASS!" while raising a fist; nearby, Chopper shouts "WAPUH! (Water!)" and Usopp stands with arms raised. Someone says, "You guys are so noisy..." In the next row, the crew discusses: "Oh yeah, it's finished.", "That thingI", "Are you done with that thing I asked forI", "Oh, that's right. Hey Usopp.", and "Crocodile...". Usopp proudly presents three cylindrical metal tubes, declaring "The 'Clima-Tact'!" and "Here! This is your new weapon!" Nami asks, "Clima-TactI" while a caption explains, "Its attacks change depending on how you assemble the individual parts!" and "Right. It might not look like it, but your staff's been completely overhauled!"

Sanji, in a hooded cloak, points and declares, "BECAUSE I'LL PROTECT THEM AT ALL TIMES! If Nami and Vivi don't want to fight, then they don't need to..." He adds, "Just call me, 'Prince,' ladies!" while hearts float nearby. Background figures ride camels and walk through the desert. Vivi questions, "By the way, does B.W. know we're currently in the countryI" Sanji replies, "I SAID ONLY THE LADIES!" and "Prince." The group continues: "...Yes, most likely.", "Well if they know our faces, we can't take any overt actions.", "So what if they knowI", "So I can't imagine B.W. would still be in the dark.", and "Not only did we run across Mr. 2, but Mr. 3's also somewhere in the country."

The crew huddles in the desert outside Rainbase, cloaked against the sun. Nami warns, "Right, and let's not forget their specialty is assassination...!" Usopp adds nervously, "So if one of them spots us, then Crocodile will know we're coming and plan ahead!" Luffy shouts, "There might be a lot of B.W. agents teeming all over Rainbase. What, why not!I" Sanji cautions, "But you know, Usopp..." Luffy suddenly roars with excitement, "DID YOU NOT LISTEN TO WHAT I JUST SAID!I ALRIGHT! TIME TO KICK CROCODILE'S ASS!" Nami sighs, "Oh jeez..." as a distant view of Rainbase appears. Usopp asks from atop a camel, "What's wrongI You gonna chicken out, UsoppI" Nami replies firmly, "We've got no time to play things safe. A short and direct approach might be our best chance. I think I might agree with Luffy here!" Usopp answers, "I'll give my best then!"

The title "The Town of Dreams, 'Rainbase'" appears over a bustling city street filled with palm trees, striped buildings, and crowds. SFX show lively chatter. Inside a bar, Smoker sits at the counter with a drink, saying, "I don't know... Instinct, I suppose..." Tashigi sits beside him. Usopp cheers, "Woooh! We can finally drink water, Usopp!" Tashigi asks, "Capt. Smoker, what're we doing here in RainbaseI"

Tashigi wonders, "Then do you think there's some connection between Crocodile and that criminal organizationI" Smoker growls while drinking, "In any case, there's something suspicious going on in this country... Something big... I can feel it in my bones." Usopp pleads, "Give us 5 whole barrels of water! Yo granny, hit us up with some water!" Smoker and Tashigi continue discussing the situation. Usopp and the others gulp water loudly. Suddenly barrels roll wildly across the bar as chaos erupts; Usopp and Luffy tumble with the barrels while Smoker and Tashigi react in surprise.

Outside in the streets of Rainbase, Usopp reassures, "I don't know... They might just come back with more than just water, if you know what I'm sayin'..." while riding a camel. Nami says, "Don't worry. It's just a little errand. I'm sure they can handle it." Sanji adds, "Do you think it was alright trusting them with getting the waterI" Usopp replies, "I'm gonna go to a washroom." At the bar, an old woman asks about payment as Tashigi and Smoker react. Smoker suddenly stands, cigar in mouth, shouting, "ALERT THE MARINES! I'M CHASING AFTER THEM!" Outside, Usopp and Luffy flee in panic, barrels flying, yelling, "HOW WOULD I KNOW!I JUST KEEP RUNNING!" and "WHY THE HELL ARE THE MARINES HERE!I"

Nami clutches her head in panic as marines pursue them through the streets. "Oh no, Chopper's not back yet!" she cries. "Don't worry, he'll figure something out!" a voice reassures. "AND WHY'RE THEY RUNNING THIS WAY!I NO, THAT CAN'T BE!" Nami shouts. "Oh crap! They've got the marines on their tails!" someone exclaims as the group flees. In a dramatic wide shot, Sanji roars with fury, "YEAH, THANKS TO YOU IDIOTS!" while a long-coated figure yells, "GUYS! THE MARINES ARE HERE!" Massive impact lettering "ドッドッドッドドドド" shakes the scene. A stern man with goggles mutters, "Fast little buggers..." as marines charge forward shouting, "DON'T LET THEM ESCAPE THIS TIME!"

The Straw Hats race through Rainbase as chaos erupts. "Isn't it really bad to run around town like thisI We'll be spotted by B.W. agents!" someone warns amid the stampede. Luffy grins fiercely and declares, "Let's go meet Crocodile, Vivi!" Vivi replies, "WhatI" Luffy answers, "Then let's go!" Vivi adds, "I'd say it's too late to worry about that." From a high vantage, a figure points out, "He's in that building with the crocodile on top. Do you see it!I" Nami confirms, "That's Rain Dinners, the casino owned by Crocodile!" Vivi nods, "Alright."

Luffy shouts, "Let's all meet up later." Sanji agrees, "Okay then!" Zoro adds, "Right." Sanji concludes, "We better split up first." The crew leaps across rooftops toward the massive casino as the narration states, "At Crocodile's House!" Marines swarm below yelling, "DON'T LET EM ESCAPE!" and "THEY SPLIT UP!" Sound effects mark their dashes: "DASH!" "DASH!" "LEAP!" In close-up, Sanji glares and accepts, "I accept your challenge!" Luffy taunts, "Catch me if ya can!" while calling out, "Hey Smokey!"

Smoker bursts forward in a cloud of smoke, growling, "DON'T THINK YOU CAN OUTRUN ME FOREVER!" as Luffy counters with "GOMU GOMU... BALLOON!" The impact sends Smoker reeling with a massive "ドゴォ...!!" Luffy lands hard, gasping, "THAT WAS CLOSE!" while distant horses neigh, "NEIGHH!" and an unseen figure cries, "AGHH!" Sound effects echo the frantic chase: "UGH!" "WHITE VINE!" "カッシャッ!!" and Luffy's heavy breathing, "Hagh."

On a bustling street lined with arched buildings and palm trees, a voice cries out "What!I" as another shouts "Usopp!" Sanji, cigarette in mouth, turns and yells "Ok, leave it to me! Sanji!" A hooded figure dashes forward through the crowd, declaring "Huh!I I'm leaving Nami in your hands!" and "I'll hold these guys off so run ahead!" The figure races ahead in a blur of motion lines and flapping cloak, warning the pursuing marines "The rest of you are trash...! As long as that Smoking bastard ain't around." In close-up, Sanji smirks and growls "Say your prayers, marines... Heh heh..."

The hooded figure sprints through the street, thinking "I HOPE YOU'LL BE SAFE, MR. BUSHIDO...!" while panting heavily. A dramatic panel shows crossed swords and impact lines with the sound effect "キキ...!!" In a fierce clash inside a building, the figure now in black-and-white robes blocks attacks, shouting "Too weak! Try again!" as swords clang repeatedly with "CLANG!" and "CLANG!" effects amid motion lines and shocked onlookers.

Tashigi appears with an angry expression, exclaiming "So we meet again!" while a marine shouts "KORONOA ZORO!" and "You're..." The hooded figure is revealed as Roronoa Zoro. In a long panel, Zoro slides backward on a wooden floor, yelling "No it wasn't! You've yet to cut me once!" as Tashigi pursues, declaring "Hey now, I've got no intention of fighting you! Our match was already settled!" The scene erupts into chaos with a marine screaming "Ahh! WAIT RIGHT THERE! Dammit! I'm just no good dealing with her!" while Tashigi glares and yells "You despicable man! How dare you try to make a fool out of me..." and "...QUIT PUTTING THAT ON THAT FACE!" amid sound effects and shocked reactions.

Luffy and a long-nosed man scream in terror with mouths wide open, "AHHHHHH!" and "GYAAAAA!" accompanied by massive impact effects. In a chaotic brawl, Usopp fights wildly among barrels and wooden structures, shouting "STAY AWAY, B.W.!" and "Haha! You think that I'll make us stay away!I" while enemies yell "THOSE'RE THE ONES WE'RE LOOKING FOR! KILL THEM!" Usopp lands a hit with "FWACK" as a woman in a coat praises "Nice one, Usopp!" and a hooded man stammers "W-whoa, it worked!" amid flying debris and impact sounds.

The group arrives at the grand pyramid-shaped entrance to Rain Dinners, built directly in the middle of a lake. A cloaked figure points excitedly and shouts, "Look! There's the entrance to Rain Dinners!" Another observes, "The building's built in the middle of the lake..." A voice asks, "Is no one else here yetI" Suddenly, enemies spot them. "ENEMIESI" one yells in shock. "FIRE!" commands another. "THERE THEY ARE! KILL THOSE 2 FIRST!" Gunfire erupts with loud "カァァァ!" and impact sounds as the ambush begins.

Chaos erupts in the street as fighters clash violently. A cloaked man is kicked hard, sending his hat flying amid "ゴゴゴゴ" sound effects. Nearby, Nami calls out "Luffy!" while a voice worries, "Then we should hurry up inside..." Someone asks, "I let her run on ahead. Why, is she still not hereI" Another wonders, "Weren't you with ViviI" A reply suggests, "Maybe she went inside!" Zoro is spotted in the distance. Luffy yells, "C'mon, guys! Let's head inside!" as a figure warns, "Wait right there! HE BROUGHT SMOKER TOO!"

Luffy bursts forward with a massive "YIIIIII ha ha ha!" laugh, fist raised, shouting "CROCODILE! JUST YOU WAIT." Inside the lavish Rain Dinners hall, Crocodile's voice laughs "Kuhahaha!" while reporting, "Yes, I've just been informed by the Millions." A voice asks, "And the pirates, are here in town!I" Vivi appears in a small panel. Crocodile orders, "As you wish. Then welcome the little rats inside!" and bursts into "HAHA HA!"
