A crew member replies “HMI” while another voice states “I STILL WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL THAT WAS ABOUT…”. Wapol appears in a large panel, furious, shouting “BUT HE HAD A SHIP THAT NO MERE NO-NAME PIRATE COULD GET!” and “YOU KNOW, THOSE GUYS FROM YESTERDAY. I MEAN, I'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF A PIRATE CALLED WAPOL.” Dalton (or a fur-clad warrior) stands nearby with arrows. Wapol continues yelling “CRAAAAAAAAAP! AND HE CAN'T SWIM EITHER!” and “THIS IS EXTREMELY BAD! HIS MAJESTY WAS FLUNG INTO THE OCEAN!”. The final wide shot shows the Going Merry in distress with crew members on deck as someone shouts “IF WE DON'T GO RESCUE HIM, HE'LL DROWN FOR SURE!” and “BACK TO THE SHIP EVERYONE!”.

Two furious men glare forward with intense expressions. The left man with an afro beard roars, "REMEMBER US!" The right man with a mask and sword yells, "AND AS FOR YOU SCUM! WE'LL HAVE OUR REVENGE ONE DAY!" The scene shifts to open sea where two ships sail away under a bright sky dotted with bubbles. Voices call out, "PLEASE REMEMBER US!" and "DON'T FORGET IT!" In a close-up, Sanji sweats with a cigarette in his mouth and mutters dismissively, "JUST A BUNCH OF IDIOTS. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS." On the right, a group of people stands on a wooden dock watching the departing ships and pleading, "PLEASE!"

Usopp works on the ship while speaking, "IT'S PROBABLY JUST ANOTHER BIZARRE ASPECT TO THE GRAND LINE..." Nami replies from inside, "YEAH I GUESS NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT." A loud "KANKAN..." sound effect rings out. Nami continues, "DON'T YOU THINK IT'S BEEN PRETTY COLD EVERY DAY FOR AWHILE NOWI" and adds, "MORE IMPORTANTLY..." The view widens to the ship deck where a small figure stands on a high platform. Nami notes, "WINTER ISLANDI" Usopp responds, "THERE MUST BE A 'WINTER ISLAND' NEARBY." Nami calls out, "VIVII" Sanji answers while scanning the horizon, "SANJI, WATCH CAREFULLY FOR LAND ON THE HORIZON." Nami concludes, "NO, IT'S PROOF THAT WE'RE CLOSE TO AN ISLAND." In a close-up, Nami explains, "AND EACH OF 4 ISLANDS GENERALLY HAVE 4 SEASONS OF THEIR OWN." She continues, "SUMMER ISLAND, SPRING ISLAND, AUTUMN ISLAND, AND WINTER ISLAND. IN TERMS OF CLIMATE, THE ISLANDS OF GRAND LINE CAN BE CLASSIFIED INTO 4 TYPES."

Nami stands before diagrams of four islands labeled SUMMER ISLAND, SPRING ISLAND, FALL ISLAND, and WINTER ISLAND, each showing different seasonal symbols. She states, "YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ENDURE ALL 16 TYPES OF SEASONS, FROM THE SUMMER OF SUMMER ISLAND TO THE WINTER OF WINTER ISLAND." She adds, "IN SHORT, IN ORDER TO SURVIVE SAILING ACROSS GRAND LINE..." Below deck, crew members react as Nami continues, "IS DUE TO BEING TRAPPED ALL BETWEEN THESE ISLANDS, EACH WITH THEIR OWN DISTINCT CLIMATE... I SEE... THE REASON WHY GRAND LINE HAS SUCH UNPREDICTABLE CLIMATE, OF COURSE, THERE STILL ARE EXCEPTIONS AND UNKNOWN CLIMATES." Usopp agrees, "YOU'RE RIGHT..." Sanji adds, "I CAN SEE LAND UP AHEAD!" Usopp concludes, "THAT'S WHY CLIMATE STABILIZATION SIGNALS THE PRESENCE OF AN ISLAND NEARBY...!" Nami confirms, "EXACTLY."

A wide view shows the Going Merry sailing across calm water toward a distant snowy island under dramatic speed lines and a large "DON!!" sound effect. A speech bubble shouts, "LAND AHOY!" Inside the cabin, Luffy bursts through the door with wide eyes and an excited expression, yelling, "LAND!I" Behind him, Sanji sits with crossed arms and says, "JUST GO OUTSIDE AND LOOK..." Nami stands nearby and exclaims, "NAMI, DID YOU HEAR THAT!I IT'S AN ISLAND! NOW WE CAN GET YOU ALL BETTER!"

Luffy's face fills the panel in wild excitement as the ship nears land, shouting "IT'S AN ISLAND!" and "WHOA-AAAA-AAAA!" Below, Luffy lounges on the deck grinning while the crew reacts to the white landscape. "IT'S SO WHITE!" he exclaims. "IT MUST BE SNOW! A SNOW ISLAND!" Sanji, in a dark coat and scarf, warns firmly, "LUFFY! LET ME JUST SAY NOW THAT WE CAN'T AFFORD TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE THIS TIME. ONCE WE GET A DOCTOR TO TREAT NAMI, WE'RE LEAVING RIGHT AWAY." Usopp adds from the side, "GET READY TO DOCK, GUYS." In the lower panels the ship approaches the snowy shore as the crew debates safety. "OH NO! MY CAN'T-ENTER-ISLAND-ITIS IS ACTING UP AGAIN!" Usopp cries. "HOLD ON A MOMENT... IS THAT ISLAND GONNA BE SAFEI IF THERE'S SNOW, COULDN'T THERE BE SNOW MONSTERS OR SOMETHING!I" "THERE MIGHT NOT EVEN BE ANY HUMANS LIVING ON IT!" someone worries, while Luffy simply beams, "I LIKE SNOW 'CAUSE IT'S WHITE."

A massive splash panel reveals the towering, snow-covered castle-like structures and mountains as the ship sails closer amid dramatic speed lines and SFX "どどーん!!" and "ヒュオオ...". On deck Luffy sits cross-legged in the cold, arms wrapped around his legs, shouting with pure joy, "I'M SO HAPPY... SO MUCH SNOW..." while shivering "BRRRRR!" Sanji, bundled in a heavy coat, asks, "AREN'T YOU COLD WEARING ONLY THATI" Usopp notes the temperature, "IT'S -10 DEGREES, COLD ENOUGH FOR A BEAR TO BEGIN HIBERNATING." Nami, wrapped in winter gear, stares at the distant peaks and murmurs, "WOW... JUST WHAT ARE THOSE MOUNTAINS...!"

Luffy shivers violently on deck, teeth chattering "うぉー... BRRRRR!" as Sanji snaps, "COULD YOU BE ANY SLOWER!I" A small reindeer-like figure darts along the snowy bank near a roaring meltwater waterfall while the crew watches. "A MELTWATER WATERFALL..." someone observes. "WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DOCK OUR SHIP AROUND HERE." In the next scene the group gathers to decide next steps. Luffy raises his hand eagerly, "ME TOO!" Usopp declares, "YES, GO FORTH, MY COMRADES!" Sanji adds, "I'LL GO!" The man in the heavy fur-trimmed jacket marked "DKG" crosses his arms and asks calmly, "ACTUALLY... I GUESS WE SHOULD START BY SEEING IF THERE ARE EVEN ANY PEOPLE. SO...I WHO'S GOING TO LOOK FOR A DOCTORI"

Armed villagers line the snowy cliffs above the ship, weapons raised, shouting "PIRATES!" and "STOP RIGHT THERE," while the Going Merry sails between the rocks. On deck Luffy looks up in surprise. Usopp mutters nervously, "UHH... JUDGING FROM THE MOOD, THIS DOESN'T LOOK SO GOOD..." Luffy calls out, "HEY, THERE'RE PEOPLE." The stern-faced man in the heavy winter coat and fur collar glares down and commands, "AND LEAVE THIS ISLAND AT ONCE. YOU WILL TURN AROUND IMMEDIATELY."

Armed soldiers surround the Going Merry at the snowy dock, weapons drawn. An angry guard shouts, "THOSE LIES WON'T WORK ON US, PIRATE-SCUM!" Luffy stands firm on deck and yells back, "WE HAVE A SICK PERSON ON BOARD!" Another crew member adds, "WAIT! WE'VE COME HERE FOR A DOCTOR!" The lead soldier in the puffy jacket glares and threatens, "OR ELSE WE'LL MAKE YOU LEAVE!" A second guard orders, "NOW PULL YOUR ANCHOR BACK UP AND BEAT IT!" while a third declares, "THIS IS OUR COUNTRY AND WE WON'T LET NO STINKING PIRATES RUN AMOK ON IT!" The ship sits anchored before snow-covered mountains and a fortress. Below deck, Sanji, Usopp, and Zoro react to the hostile welcome. Zoro mutters, "WHOO... TALK ABOUT A BAD FIRST IMPRESSION..."

Tension explodes as a soldier swings a massive hammer. Sanji is struck hard, crying "AGH!" The attacker roars, "DON'T TALK BACK AT US!" Below, the puffy-jacketed man and a fishman-like guard advance while someone reports, "THEY OPENED FIRE!" Sanji lunges forward to protect a figure as a voice cries, "SANJI, NO!" The guard aims a massive gun at point-blank range, growling, "WHY YOU...!" and clicks the trigger with a loud "CLICK" while warning, "NOW YOU'VE DONE IT..."

The gunshot sends Sanji flying backward in a dramatic flip, impact lines and debris flying. A small panel shows the smoking gun and a fallen barrel. Vivi stares in shock, gasping "AH-" and then screams "VIVI!" Luffy's face fills the frame, eyes blazing as he roars, "HOW DARE YOU!"

A line of soldiers aims rifles and shouts, "PREPARE TO SHOOT!" Luffy leaps into action, stretching his arm while yelling. A crewmate warns, "YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ME, THE BULLET ONLY GRAZED MY ARM!" and another pleads, "NO, WAIT! THIS ISN'T A PROBLEM YOU CAN SOLVE BY FIGHTING!" From the ship, a desperate voice calls out, "OUR FRIEND IS GRAVELY ILL AND IN MUCH PAIN! PLEASE HELP HER! SO COULD YOU PLEASE JUST CALL OVER A DOCTOR!I" The soldiers stand ready as the plea continues, "WE PROMISE NOT TO SET FOOT ON YOUR COUNTRY... I BEG OF YOU!" Sound effects of gunfire and impact echo across the snowy shore.

Luffy sits with a serious expression as narration reads, "RECKLESSLY FIGHTING ISN'T ALWAYS GOING TO SOLVE EVERYTHING..." and "YOU'RE FAILING TO CARRY OUT YOUR DUTIES AS SHIP CAPTAIN, LUFFY..." He sweats, thinking of Vivi. In smaller panels he ponders, "WHAT WOULD BECOME OF NAMI...I" and "IF YOU WERE TO START A FIGHT RIGHT NOW," with sound effects "ポタ..." and "ポタ..." In the large bottom panel Luffy's face fills the frame as he shouts with tears, "I WAS WRONG!" and "SORRY!"

Two figures kneel and bow deeply on snowy steps before a building as a large impact SFX "ゴゴゴゴン!!!" erupts. Speech bubbles read, "WE ONLY ASK FOR A DOCTOR." and "PLEASE SAVE OUR FRIEND." Dalton appears in close-up with a stern, sweating face. A group of armed men, including Dalton in heavy winter gear, stand ready with rifles and a massive cannon. In the bottom row Sanji, Usopp, and Sanji again react with surprise while Dalton grips his sword and warns, "..."

Dalton's face declares, "FOLLOW ME." and "...WE'LL LEAD YOU TO OUR TOWN." The Straw Hats' ship rests at the snowy shore. Luffy pops up excitedly saying "YEAH," while Nami smiles and states, "SEEI THEY UNDERSTOOD US." and "YOU'RE AMAZING." Dalton continues, "THERE IS ONLY ONE DOCTOR IN OUR COUNTRY... AND SHE HAPPENS TO BE A WITCH." He adds, "LET ME GIVE YOU ONE WARNING BEFOREHAND..." as Usopp reacts with shock, "WHAI"
