Luffy stands alone before a massive, multi-tiered stone fountain structure in a jungle clearing. A voice from off-panel shouts, “LUFFY! WE DON’T HAVE ANY TIME LEFT! SO HURRY UP AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS THING!” Luffy replies quietly, “…YEAH, I KNOW.” The voice snaps back, “IF YOU KNOW, THEN HURRY THE HELL UP!” In a close-up, Luffy sweats heavily with wide eyes, a large “どーん!” sound effect above his head. He says, “I DON’T WANT TO HELP YOU…!” while another voice answers, “I KNOW BUT…”

In the jungle, Nami yells in panic, “IT’S NOT A MATTER OF WHETHER YOU FEEL LIKE IT, JUST HELP US ALREADY!” Usopp sweats and replies, “…YEAH, BUT I JUST DON’T FEEL LIKE DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.” Nami screams, “YOU DO REALIZE WE’RE ABOUT TO BECOME WAX-FIGURES!I THAT WE’RE ON THE VERGE OF DEATH!I” with a large “ガーン!!” effect. Mr. 3 shouts from within the creature, “IN OTHER WORDS, THIS IS THE END OF BOTH YOU AND YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS!” Vivi yells, “PLANNING TO RUN AWAY ON THE BIRD!I” as Carue flees with Usopp aboard, shouting “RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!” and “QUACK!” while Vivi cries, “CARUE! RUN FOR IT!”

A frantic chase unfolds as a panicked duck-like creature flees with a rider clinging desperately to its back. The rider yells, "WAIT, WAIT! I HAVEN'T GOTTEN ON YOU YET!" while the duck squawks "QUAAACK!" In the background, voices confirm, "WE'RE CHASING AFTER THEM." and "YES." The duck twists and protests, "HEY! I SAID STOP! "YOU HAVE TO HELP US AT ALL!" "WE DEFINITELY DON'T WANT," and "VIVI! WHAT'RE YOU-" Miss Golden Week watches with "MUNCH..." Luffy suddenly clutches his head in pain as a massive "ガーン!!" effect erupts. He cries out, "I'M COMING TO HELP YOU RIGHT NOW!" and "AH! I... I JUST FELT REALLY WEIRD ALL OF A SUDDEN!" The armored man watches intently, thinking "I SEE..."

Luffy's face fills the panel in extreme close-up, laughing wildly with a giant open mouth and hand raised as he shouts, "BUT BEFORE THAT, I GOTTA LAUGH! AHA-HAHAHAHA!" and "BUWA-HAHAHA-HAHA!" while Japanese sound effects "どーん!!" and laughter syllables explode around him. In the next panel, the armored man and others react in shock to a new effect, yelling "WHAT IS IT THIS TIME!I" and "WHAA-AAT!I" as more laughter symbols appear. Miss Golden Week stands holding a palette and paintbrush, munching as she states, "LAUGHING YELLOW." and "COLOURS TRAP," while warning "CAN'T HAVE YOU MOVING NOW..." The armored man is struck by another impact effect "ばんっ!!" as he continues laughing uncontrollably, "HAHAHA-HAHAHA!"

Amid a downpour of wax mist, Sanji growls, "CRAP... AT THE CURRENT SPEED THIS MIST OF WAX IS RAINING DOWN ON US, WE WON'T LAST EVEN A MINUTE MORE!" Usopp laughs wildly, "NAH, I JUST WANNA LAUGH INSTEAD! AHA-HAHAHAHAHA!" while Luffy, covered in fresh paint on his shirt, is urged by a voice, "THE PAINTING'S ON HIS CLOTHES THIS TIME! LUFFY! HURRY UP AND TAKE YOUR SHIRT OFF!" Carue the duck quacks in panic as the group tumbles through the wax-covered ruins. Mr. 3's wax attacks continue, with shouts of "UWAHAHA-HAHAHA!" and "BUWAHA-HAHAHAHA!" filling the air. Someone yells, "DID YOU COME HERE TO PLAY OR WHAT!I" as Luffy bumps into Usopp and Carue. Nami watches in frustration, thinking, "IT'S USELESS... HE JUST HAD TO GO UP AGAINST THE WORST TYPE OF ENEMY POSSIBLE... HE'S JUST WASTING HIS ENERGY...!" Usopp is struck by the new color trap. Nami then calls out her own attack, "CALMING GREEN!" as she hurls a paint-filled projectile at Mr. 3, who yells "COLOURS TRAP!" in alarm.

In a jungle clearing, Mr. 3 and an ally sit enjoying tea as a voice declares, "THIS TEA IS DELICIOUS." A massive "ズドーン!!" impact rocks the area while someone shouts, "THAT IDIOT!" Nami glares and demands, "COULD YOU PLEASE BE MORE SERIOUS HERE!I" Sanji replies coolly, "TOO BAD FOR YOU. WHAT'D I TELL YAI SHOULD HAVE PICKED A POSE WHILE YOU STILL COULD." Nami asks worriedly, "WHAT DO WE DO NOW...I" In the foreground, a silhouetted figure unleashes a powerful strike labeled "DOUBLE CANNON!" with the sound effect "トオオ..." and the note "NOSE FANCY..."

The gunman retorts, "A PISTOL!I IT'S FINE, WE CAN DODGE AT LEAST ONE BULLET WITH PURE WILL-POWER!"

The helmeted man sweats heavily, eyes wide, declaring, "THAT'S THE ONLY POSSIBLE CAUSE!" He recalls, "LAST TIME WHEN WE BUMPED INTO LUFFY, IT WAS ON HIS BACK. THE ONE WHO PAINTED IT ON HAS GOT TO BE THAT EASYGONG-LOOKING GIRL!" Another figure adds, "AS THE ENEMIES SAID, THAT WEIRD PAINTING IS THEIR TRAP!" Carue dashes frantically through the jungle with rapid "ダダダダダダ" steps and loud "QUACK!" cries, urged on by shouts of "QUICKLY!" The duck bursts into a clearing near a broken fence as the helmeted man reacts in shock with "!!!!I" and a large "ドォォォォォォ..." sound effect echoes.

The swordsman raises a large revolver high with a dramatic "ドンッ!!" as two women watch tensely. The gunman appears in close-up, eyes narrowed, proclaiming, "THE LATEST MODEL FROM SOUTH BLUE. WITH ITS RAPID-FIRE ABILITY, YOU WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO SEE THE BULLETS WHEN I SHOOT WITH IT." He cocks the weapon with "カチャ...!!" and warns, "YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DODGE THIS. IT'S A FLINTLOCK.44 CALIBRE 6-SHOT REVOLVER." The helmeted man stares in disbelief with "!!!!" as massive impact sounds "ドンッ!!" and "ドンッ!!" ring out near a large metal structure.

Luffy sits calmly in the jungle clearing sipping tea and remarks, "AHH, THIS TEA IS DELICIOUS..." Carue bursts onto the scene yelling, "LUFFY! WHAT'RE YOU..." The helmeted man sweats and stammers, "YOU IDIOT..." while Luffy continues with eyes closed, "THIS TEA IS... DE...LI...CIOUS..." The gunman aims his revolver and declares, "IT'S OVER FOR ALL OF YOU! THIS IS MY ULTIMATE ABILITY...!" Massive gunfire erupts with explosive "ドンッ!!" and "ドンッ!!" effects as he shouts, "BLOW" and the helmeted man reacts in panic.

Luffy and Usopp stand together holding drinks as a sudden gunshot rings out. An enemy in goggles and a netted top aims and fires, shouting, "CRAP, HE FIRED! CERTAIN KILL..." A massive swirling flame attack erupts with the cry "FLAME STAR!" A strange fish-like creature reels back in shock, screaming "UWA-HHH-HHH!" and "!!!" Below, the goggled fighter sweats with a question mark overhead while another panel shows him hit, yelling "HUH!I" Usopp appears furious, shouting "KYAHAHAHA! WHAT A MORON! YOU MISSED AND HIT YOUR OWN FRIEND!" and "WHERE ARE THE BULLETSI"

A colossal explosion erupts with the massive sound effect "オオオオオ" and the label "BREEZE BREATH BOMB!" The goggled man is blasted backward through smoke and debris. In a side panel Mr. 5 appears with a calm expression, saying "AH, I FORGOT TO TELL YOU... EVEN MY BREATH CAN EXPLODE."

Usopp struggles to pull the injured goggled man to safety, asking "DID YOU GET A GRIP YET!I" while the man pants "HUFF... HUFF... HEY!" Nearby, Sanji mutters "THIS IS INSANE... NO BULLETS...!I" and "DAMMIT...!" Usopp questions the earlier attack: "YOU MEAN... THAT ATTACK WAS ACTUALLY TO BURN AWAY THE PAINTING ALONG WITH HIS SHIRT!I" The man replies "YEAH, I DID... THANKS FOR THAT. I WON'T LET THOSE PAINTINGS AFFECT ME ANYMORE." In a dramatic close-up Luffy glares with intense fury, sweat flying, declaring "I'M REAAAAALLY PISSED OFF NOW!" and "I'M NOT GOING TO LET EVEN A SINGLE CREWMATE OF MINE DIE!"
