The Sky Splits

A scarred man with a sword growls, "YOU HEAR THAT TOO, RIGHTI" Another fierce fighter replies, "YEAH." A monstrous, tear-streaked face with sharp teeth roars, "PLEASE...!!!" and the panel is labeled "ROCKS VS ROGER & GARP!!". A massive clash erupts with the sound effect "FWOOOSH" as the monstrous fighter and the swordsman collide mid-air in a whirlwind of motion lines and debris. The swordsman swings his blade while shouting, "NONE OF IT ADDS UP!!!" The monstrous fighter's clawed hand reaches out amid swirling clouds and impact bursts. Below, the axe-wielding fighter is struck hard, his face twisted in pain as a giant fist connects with explosive force, sending shockwaves and debris flying.

The battle intensifies with shattering rock and massive explosions. The monstrous fighter is hurled backward through crumbling stone while the swordsman and axe-wielder press their assault. A giant fist smashes forward with the sound effect "ドン" and "ズドドドドド". Screams echo: "GYAAAHHH!!" and "UWAAAHHH!!". The swordsman is sent flying amid flying debris and impact lines. The axe-wielder is struck again as the monstrous fighter's attacks create shockwaves that tear through the battlefield. Smaller panels show stunned reactions and flying figures amid the chaos of breaking stone and dust clouds.

The sky above the island cracks violently apart with massive fissures as panicked voices cry out, "THE SKY...!!! IT'S SPLITTINGI!" and "WE'VE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE OR WE'RE GONNA DIE!!" Explosions and debris fill the air while the ground fractures. Below, frantic pirates and marines rush toward the coast, shouting "HURRY TO THE COAST!!" and "THE ROCKS PIRATES ARE HISTORY!!" One man yells, "HUHI! WHAT ABOUT ROCKS' SHIPI!" while another retorts, "LET'S STEAL A SHIP AND GET OFF THIS ISLAND!!" A fierce figure snaps back, "DUMBASS, NO ONE'S GOING BACK!!" On the sea, orders ring out: "GET UNDERWAY THE INSTANT RAYLEIGH'S GROUP IS ABOARD. WAIT FOR ME AT SEA!!" Roger demands, "ROGER, WHAT'S GOING ON OVER THEREI!" A voice commands, "I SAID GET EVERY SURVIVOR AND MARINE YOU CAN ABOARD THAT SHIP... AND CAST OFF IMMEDIATELY!!" Vice Admiral Garp is asked, "VICE ADMIRAL GARP!! CAN YOU REPEAT THATI!"

Two bloodied, determined men glare forward; one declares, "I'LL MAKE IT BACK FOR SURE!!!" On the shattered island, a winged figure is flung through the air amid rocks and smoke. A man explains, "WELL, ALL I WANTED WAS TO SAVE SHAKKY, GRAB SOME TREASURE, AND BAIL! I CAME TO THIS ISLAND TO CATCH THE PAIR OF YOU, BUT LOOK HOW THINGS PANNED OUT...!!! ROCKS AND ROGER..." Two figures are hurled aside with "FLING" effects. Close-ups show intense faces as one growls, "CAN'T SAY I'M THRILLED WITH THAT IDEA, BUT... WE CAN'T JUST LEAVE HIM BE!!!" Another proposes, "WANNA CALL A TEMPORARY TRUCEI"

Dragon stands firm, declaring, "AND IF ANYONE'S GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT, I'LL EXECUTE THEM!!" and orders, "BRING THOSE SURVIVORS ABOARD, WE'RE SAVING THEM!!" A Marine-like figure protests, "DRAGON!! DO YOU CONDONE THISI!" and "MEI! WHAT ABOUT YOUI!" Dragon tells his allies, "DON'T FOLLOW US! SAIL THE BOAT OUT TO SEA AND WAIT!!" while demanding, "WHERE ARE YOU GOINGI! RAYLEIGH!! GYBAN!!" Someone yells, "BRING IT ON!!" A massive explosion rocks the island as a ship labeled "WEST BLUE" sails away through turbulent waters. Narration notes, "THAT ISLAND..." and "...NEVER EXISTED..."

A bloodied, screaming man rants about top-secret records kept by G-11 and CP6 regarding a special mission on God Valley. Text boxes detail purged information about the island's location, size, population, and the names of Human Hunt participants. The number of casualties remains unknown. Explosions tear through the landscape as a voice says, "I'M WITH YOU THERE." Another asks, "DID YOU KNOW THE GOVERNMENT HAD TIES TO THAT BLACK MONSTERI" A wounded figure growls, "WHO'D PROTECT THE MARINESI!" while another replies, "HELL NO. IF I QUIT..." and suggests, "IF YOU WANNA LEAVE THE NAVY, YOU SHOULD JOIN US." SFX and heavy breathing fill the devastated scene.

With intense eyes he declares, "EXACTLY! IF WE DON'T OVERCOME THAT, THE DAMAGE WON'T GO THROUGH!!" From below, voices debate the next move: "IF WE DO THAT, WE PROBABLY WON'T SURVIVE THIS...!!" "YEAH!! DON'T WORRY ABOUT HOW CRIPPLING THE AFTERMATH WILL BE!!" "SO NEXT TIME WE USE CONQUEROR'S HAKI, WE SHOULD CHANNEL ALL OF OUR MASS INTO ITI!" "AND IF WE DON'T LAND THIS, IT'S ALL OVER." "EITHER WAY, IT'LL TAKE ALL THREE OF US OUT OF COMMISSION." The beast drips saliva, muttering "DRIP" repeatedly. In the distance, a small winged figure appears as someone calls out, "HEY, ROCKS!! I DUNNO IF THERE'S ANY WORDS THAT'LL COMFORT YOU AT THIS POINT!!" "BUT, I DO KNOW ONE THING!!!" "I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENED TO YOU!!!" The oni-like creature bellows "VOHHH!!!" while the scarred man unleashes a fiery technique. Narration notes: "*TAI: KAGUTSUCHI IS THE SHINTO GOD OF FIRE". The scarred man shouts, "INFINITUM..." and strikes with "KAGU-TSUCHI'S..." as flames erupt, "THIS IS NO TIME FOR TEARS, YOU DOLTS!!"

Text boxes recount history: "THE DISBANDING OF THE CHAOTIC CREW... LED BY ROCKS D. XEBEC... WOULD LEAVE AN UNDENIABLE ECHO. THE ROCKS PIRATES DESTABILIZED AN ENTIRE ERA... The scarred man is shown mid-strike amid debris and impact lines as the blast consumes the scene. Narration adds: "THE WORLD GOVERNMENT TRIED THEIR BEST TO BURY THIS INCIDENT IN THE SHADOWS.
