The axe-wielding elder clashes violently with a long-haired, bearded warrior. Massive impact effects and motion lines fill the panels as the elder is struck and sent reeling. The long-haired fighter raises his arm and shouts "BRIAR BARRIER!!", summoning thorny wooden stakes that erupt from the ground. The elder is hurled backward into the barrier. The long-haired man demands, "WHY ARE YOU IN ELBAFI!!" while coughing "KOFF..." and noting "MOUNTAIN EATER...". The elder is slammed down with a pained "UGH!!" as the barrier and stakes dominate the battlefield.

Chaos erupts as the elder clashes with multiple fighters. A voice yells "NUUH VHH!!" amid heavy strikes. The long-haired warrior smirks, "NOTHING WRONG WITH A SERIOUS TALK, RIGHTI" Onlookers react in shock: "HUUUHI! YOU MET HIM AT THE CASTLEI!", "WOAH!! HE'S EQUAL TO RAYLEIGH! HE'S THE LEFT HAND OF THE PIRATE KING!", "UNLESS I MISHEARD, HE'S SCOOPER GABAN!!", "THAT OLD GUYI!", and "HE'S THE FATHER OF COLON, THE KID WE MET AT THE SCHOOL!". The elder is surrounded by a giant, a horned figure, and others. Robin stands in the foreground with her Devil Fruit powers active, her allies shouting "HIS IRON THORNS ARE A TERRIBLE MATCHUP...", "STOP IT, ROBIN!!", "FOR YOUR HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT STYLE!!", "I CAN USE MY POWERS TO ASSIST YOU!", "I CAN'T BUDGE... BUT...", and "THE ATTACKS ARE REALLY HAVING AN IMPACT!!" as the fight intensifies.

The elder warrior leaps with his axe, shouting "FUTENRAKU!" as he strikes the long-haired fighter. The opponent counters with "THORN RUSH!! AND... THAT WAS CLOSE...!!" while impact sounds "GWA!!" and "GLINT!!" ring out. The long-haired man presses the assault, yelling "COME!!" as the elder is battered amid debris. In the final panels the elder declares "I'M IN A HURRY, YOU KNOW." while clashing once more, the ground exploding under the relentless thorn attacks.

A group of monstrous creatures recoil in shock, eyes bulging as they scream "HUUUUHI!!" and "えええ". Colon swings his massive axe wildly, shouting "WAIT UP, COLON!" while delivering heavy strikes "ダ!!ダ!!" that send a dark figure flying. In the wide landscape panel, the axe connects with a thunderous "ドサッ!!" and repeated "THWSH THWSH THWSH!!" impacts. Someone yells "HE TOOK HIM OUT!!" as the defeated form crashes into the grass. Below, a small reindeer-hatted figure resembling Chopper stares in disbelief: "HOW WAS HE ABLE TO CUT SOMEONE WHO'S IMMORTAL! THIS COULD BE CRITICAL INFORMATION!!" Nearby, the injured Colon groans "OUCH, IT HURTS!" while another voice cries "CHOPPER, WHERE ARE YOU GOINGI!" as Chopper dashes off through the tall grass.

A massive treehouse village erupts in flames with a roaring "FWOOOM!" and crackling "CRACKLE CRACKLE". A cloaked figure stands amid the blaze while a small observer thinks "THIS SHOULD BE GOOD...". A tear-streaked man with a cross-shaped scar weeps heavily. An armored warrior with a spiked mace declares "ALRIGHT, WELL DONE!" as smoke swirls. Another panel shows a shocked face gasping "AH...!!!" while a staff-wielding elder states "AS FOR OVER THERE, I'LL DEAL WITH THAT." The armored warrior finishes with "I UNDERSTAND YOU DID ALL YOU CAN, THAT'S ENOUGH...!!!" as distant structures continue to burn.

The great treehouse library blazes furiously as a voice laughs "WA HA HA HA HA!!" and declares "NOW IT'S REALLY BURNING!" with massive "ドン!!" sound effects. A long-haired girl stares in horror while a cloaked figure flees, and someone shouts "THE LIBRARY.....!!" Close-ups show anguished faces crying "HISTORY ITSELF IS....!" and "THE WORDS OF OUR ANCESTORS ARE...!" An elder comforts the weeping chief: "IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT, CHIEF JARUL!!!" as Jarul sobs "SNF... HNRGH...!!!" Flames consume the ancient wooden structures below.

A lone figure stands on a wooden bridge overlooking the burning village as narration states "THIS IS QILINGHAM. IGNITION IS COMPLETE." A voice commands "WITHDRAW, CHILD..." while another figure simply replies "...". A young girl with a topknot bows deeply, tears streaming: "...I'M SORRY!!" A bird-masked person asks "IS IT SO HARD TO SHOW A LITTLE JOYI" The girl continues sobbing "I'M SORRY!!" and "IT'S ALL MY FAULT THAT EVERYTHING IS BURNING!" and "I'M SUPER SORRY FOR BEING ALIVE!!" A muscular man with a scar yells "THAT'S NOT TRUE, RONJA!!" while others plead "STOP IT, RONJA!!" as the distant library continues to collapse in flames.

A cloaked figure with goggles stands amid trees and declares, "EVEN MILITARY MIGHT...!!" as another voice adds, "CHILDREN..." and "CULTURE, HISTORY..." A massive "ビン" sound effect erupts. The goggled man warns, "THE PIRATE KING'S CREW...I YOU DO KNOW RESISTING MEANS THE HOSTAGES WILL DIE, RIGHT!" The fierce bearded warrior with wild hair and scars roars back, "YOU LOT HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE THAT AWAY!!" In the lower panels, children including a girl with pigtails cry out in alarm. "DON'T GIVE IT AWAY....!!" "COLON!! YA-SAN IS HERE!!" "HUHI!" "HEY!! IT'S YA-SAN!!" "HE'S COME TO RESCUE US!!" Colon appears in the background with horns on his helmet as the group reacts with shock and hope.

The children cheer wildly, "HOORAY!!" "HE'LL SAVE EVERYBODY!!" "MY DAD IS STRONGER THAN EVERYONE ELSE'S!" "THAT'S MY DAD, EVERYBODY!!" "DAD!!" A small girl named Clare reacts with surprise. The bearded warrior charges forward with intense fury, launching an attack. A spiky-haired man in a floral shirt is sent flying through the air with a massive "ゴーン" impact and "HYA...!!" scream as dust and motion lines fill the scene. The children watch in shock while the goggled man remains tense nearby.

The goggled man is struck and shouts, "OFF YOUI IF YOU INSIST!" and "GET OFF ME!!" as a massive impact "ギャ!!" lands. He thinks, "CHALLENGING ME MEANS ONLY ONE THING..." and resolves, "...THE KIDS CAN BE RESCUED, AND ELBAF WILL BE SAVED!! THIS IS MY LAST CHANCE... IF I ACT NOW, THE FIRES CAN BE PUT OUT..." A spiky-haired boy leaps into action with a spear. The bearded warrior yells desperately, "COLON, JUST GIVE ME ONE SECOND!! HOLD ON!!" while a close-up shows another figure sweating and exclaiming, "YOU'RE A STRONG KID!!"

Colon stands firm and declares, "I'M A WARRIOR!!" while a woman pleads, "PLEASE DEFEAT HER!!" and "JUST BEAR WITH THE WOUNDS FOR NOW... I'LL SAVE YOU!!" A narration box states, "A LIFE TAKEN CANNOT BE RETURNED." Colon shouts, "COLON!" The family embraces as voices say, "THANK YOU FOR GIVING HIM LIFE, RIPLEY..." "THIS IS A TREASURE OF A LIFETIME!!" "HE'S SUCH A BIG CUTIE." "HE'S OUR CHILD, YA-SAN." The bearded warrior attacks with "ドギャー" while the goggled man counters with "FWOOSH!" and "HRNN!!" Colon cries, "IF I CAN'T STOP HER HERE..." and the woman shouts, "COLON, PLEASE BE OKAY!!" as the battle rages with "THIS TRAGEDY WILL WORSEN!!"

Colon is blasted backward by a devastating strike, blood spraying as he tumbles through the air. A voice cries out, "I'M SORRY, COLON." The cloaked swordsman stands tall on the ridge while Colon crashes down. Colon shouts defiantly, "I CAN TAKE IT!" before being slammed again, screaming "GYAAAH!!!" He drops his axe and raises both hands, pleading, "I GIVE UP." The swordsman’s female companion yells, "PLEASE STOP." From below, children’s voices ring out in panic: "DADI!" "DAAADDY!!" "YAH!!" "DAAADDY!!" The swordsman looks down at the broken Colon and mutters, "SUCH A WEAK BEING..." Colon, kneeling, whispers, "I'M SORRY, ELBAF..."

Brook clashes violently with an unknown attacker, grunting "UGHH!" as he is struck. A hooded figure apologizes amid the chaos. Onlookers shout "YA-SAN!!" and "DADDYI!" while a group of children watches in horror. A massive, monstrous entity declares, "THE DOMINION OF GOD!!" and "MU WILL SHOW THEE..." A silhouette of a straw-hatted figure states, "YOU SEE, MY DREAM IS TO BE A PIRATE." The god-like being continues, "GOD'S ADVENT!!" as the chapter ends with "ONE PIECE" and "CH. 1149 /END".
