The Tragedy of King Harald

"IT WAS BROKEN FROM THE INSIDE; WHY WOULD 'INTRUDERS' DO THATI" "ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT! LET'S GO!" A small figure runs inside as impact sounds "ぱッ" and "わン" appear. In the foreground, Luffy shouts in panic, "THE DAMAGE LOOKS RECENT! THE KEY!! WHERE'S THE KEYI!"

Inside the vast ruined castle interior, a cloaked figure yells "THIS PLACE IS HUUUGE!!" while another shouts "W-WAIT, THIS IS UNNERVING..." and "I CAN BARELY SEE THE CEILING..." "ON THAT DAY, AROUND A HUNDRED OF THEM..." "THE CASTLE ONCE HAD NUMEROUS GUARDS." "THIS PLACE IS COVERED WITH GIANT SKELETONS!!" "AFTER THAT TRAGEDY HAPPENED HERE..." "...COMING TO THIS SITE WAS FORBIDDEN...!!!" A massive horned skeleton looms in the archway. In the lower panels the goggled man continues, "THERE ARE NO LONGER ANY PURE BLOODED MEMBERS OF THAT CLAN, BUT THEIR BLOOD STILL FLOWS IN SOME OF US." "THESE BELONGED TO SOMEONE WITH 'ANCIENT GIANT WARRIOR' BLOOD." "IT'S GOT HORNS...!!" The straw-hat boy shouts, "HEY, GUYS!! LOOK OVER HERE!!" while the striped-scarf man adds, "IT'S A DEN FOR VENGEFUL SPIRITS...!!" and "THIS SKULL IS ENORMOUS!!" A small figure notes, "LIKE KING HARALD, WHO WAS LARGER AND STRONGER THAN MOST... I WONDER IF HE KNEW OARS!!"

The scene shifts to a ruined courtyard where a cloaked figure stands amid rubble. Narration explains: "SADLY, THE ONE WITH THE BIGGEST GRUDGE AGAINST LOKI... WAS NATURALLY KING HARALD'S OTHER SON, HAJRUDIN!!" "AFTER THE KING'S DEATH, THE COUNTRY FELL INTO DESPAIR..." The young girl reacts in shock, "HE'S LOKI'S BROTHERI!" The straw-hat boy cries, "WOAH!! In the stone halls of Elbaf, a cloaked giant with a massive sword stands before a group of humans. He declares, "THEY SAY HAVING CHILDREN WITH A GIANT FROM ANOTHER LAND TAINTS THE BLOOD OF ELBAF!" A small girl with curly hair retorts, "SEEMS GIANTS CAN BE JUST AS BIGOTED AS ANYONE ELSE." The giant continues, "BUT YOU CAN'T TALK WHEN YOU HUMANS KILL EACH OTHER ALL THE TIME OVER LAND!! THEY WERE BOTH GIANTS..." Someone mutters, "...I SUPPOSE." The girl adds, "NOT EVERYONE'S AS PURE AS YOU, NAMI-TASO!" while another voice snaps, "DON'T SUCK UP TO ME, TRASH!!" The cloaked giant growls, "HUUUH!!" Below, a four-panel sequence shows Usopp reacting in shock as a voice says, "LET'S BE FRIENDS!!" Usopp blurts, "HUHI FRIENDS...I" A wild-haired figure exclaims, "YOU CAN DRAW SEA CHARTSI! THIS IS AMAZING!! YOU'RE SUCH A CREEPY NERD, RODO!!" Usopp replies, "WELL..." The blond goggled man demands, "WHY JOIN HAJRUDIN'S CREW IF YOU THINK HE HAS 'TAINTED BLOOD'I" while a small figure cries, "WAAAAH!!"

A young woman with curly hair looks concerned as narration reveals, "ONE DAY, I'M GONNA UNITE ALL THE GIANT TRIBES..." The cloaked figure walks away down stairs while background text explains, "HE NEVER LIVED IN THE CASTLE GROWING UP. HIS FATHER MAY HAVE BEEN KING, BUT HIS MOTHER WAS OSTRACIZED. HE ENDURED A LOT AND STILL SAID THIS: HE WAS ALWAYS SO... EARNEST AND STRAIGHT-FORWARD, UNLIKE ME." In a grand hall, Hajrudin raises a mug triumphantly amid cheering giants and declares, "I'M GONNA BE KING OF THE GIANTS!!" The crowd roars, "WOOOO! I KNOW YOU'RE THE MAN THAT CAN DO IT!! HAJRUDIN!" Later, the cloaked man sits on rubble and says, "I FOUND SOME KNOCKED OUT GIANTS!! HEY, THIS WAY!!" A voice laughs, "AHA HA HA!! THAT KIND OF BORING MOTIVATION IS NOTHING NEW TO ME. I WANT TO MAKE HIS DREAM A REALITY!!"

A massive cloaked figure swings a huge spiraling weapon as a sign reads "REALM OF THE DEAD." A voice asks, "DO YOU FINALLY UNDERSTANDI" The cloaked warrior states, "WE ARE OFFERING YOU A CHANCE AT DIVINITY!! MOST DIE SQUIRMING IN VAIN......JUST FOR THE SLIGHTEST CHANCE TO ATTAIN SUCH AN HONOR!!" A top-hatted man sweats and gasps, "THIS IS ONLY BECAUSE... I CAN'T MOVE FROM THIS SPOT!!" while another figure notes, "HUFF. HUFF." A long-haired man says, "THE RESULT WOULD BE THE SAME EVEN IF YOU COULD." The cloaked figure concludes, "YOU COMMONER..."

The cloaked warrior's massive weapon smashes through chains and stone with explosive force, sending debris flying. The top-hatted man reacts, "THIS AGAIN!! CRAP..." as the weapon strikes again. He shouts, "THANKS FOR GIVING ME NOTICE. THEN YOU'LL UPPERCUT ME." The cloaked figure replies, "THE OUTCOME IS UNAVOIDABLE... THESE ARROWS SHOW THE TRAJECTORY OF MY FUTURE......ONLY I CAN STOP IT BEFORE IT HAPPENS." In close-up, the warrior warns, "SO, YOU'RE GONNA LET LOOSE A FULL SPEED KICK TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY FACE... I'LL TURN ME SIDEWAYS..." while the top-hatted man huffs, "HUFF."

A massive impact erupts as the horned warrior Loki is struck, his body twisting amid chains and debris with a pained "UGH!!" A goggled figure in a dark coat looms, asking "WILL YOU JOIN GOD'S KNIGHTSI JUST SAY THE WORD, LOKI." Loki roars back "I REFUSE!!" The attacker snaps "YOU FOOL!!" In rapid right-to-left sequence, Loki's massive fist swings upward, smashing into the goggled man's face with heavy impact lines and "SHU RU RU RU" effects. A bear-like creature snarls nearby amid the chaos as the fight rages across the ruined landscape.

Loki's chained form crashes through the ground as the goggled fighter presses the assault. The bear growls "GRRRR!!" and "SVAL." while Loki pants "HA... HA... HUFF... HACK!!" The goggled man demands again "WILL YOU BECOME A GOD'S KNIGHTI" A cloaked ally shouts "STOP!! ENOUGH ALREADY!!" as arrows fly and Loki is hurled backward. The goggled fighter growls "DAMN IT... YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS..." while Loki glares defiantly.

A colossal explosion rocks the mountains with "GWAAAAAHHH!!" and massive sound effects "ドドドドドド!!!" A white bird-like creature exclaims "Bleh!" In the aftermath, the goggled fighter Gunko stands amid smoke and rubble. Loki, battered but upright, says "IT'S ALRIGHT, GUNKO." Both characters catch their breath with "HUFF..." as the dust settles over the devastated Elbaf terrain.

Narration recalls "...DOMINATED THE NEW WORLD. LONG AGO, THE SAVAGE WARRIORS OF ELBAF..." with rumbling "ゴゴゴゴゴ..." A close-up shows Figarland Shamrock's intense gaze. Gunko suggests "LET'S CHANGE OUR TACT... CONTACT MARY GEOISE!" Shamrock replies "NOT EVERY PIECE ENDS UP BEING USEFUL... I WANTED TO GO ABOUT THIS MORE SHREWDLY, BUT I GUESS NOT..." He continues "HMPH... NOT YIELDING EVEN IF IT MEANS DEATH!!" Gunko asks "DO WE CHALK THIS UP TO FAITHI" A box labels "GOD'S KNIGHT GUNKO (ARROW-ARROW FRUIT)" and another introduces "CAPTAIN OF GOD'S KNIGHTS (WORLD NOBLE) FIGARLAND SHAMROCK (SON OF ELDER FIGARLAND GARLING)".
