THE COUNTRY THAT AWAITS THE SUN

Luffy lies on a massive striped creature, happily devouring meat with tears of joy. "THIS MOOSE REMINDS ME OF DINOSAUR MEAT!!" he exclaims. "IT'S SOOOO TASTY!! EVEN THE MEAT IS HUGE!!" A giant with a long beard and horned helmet laughs heartily, "I APPRECIATE IT!! HAJUDIN!! STANSEN!!" while holding up a giant sword. "THEY'RE QUITE TRICKY TO CATCH! AS FEROCIOUS AS THEY ARE DELICIOUS!" Nearby giants feast at tables as one declares, "NO TASK IS TOO GREAT IF IT'S FOR ONE'S SAVIOUR!" In the lower panel, a giant notes, "MOST CONFUSE THE UNDERWORLD AND FLEE BEFORE THEY FIND THEIR WAY UP HERE." Another adds, "IT'S RARE FOR HUMANS TO MAKE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE SUN REALM."

Usopp grins proudly, "WOOOO!! WAY TO GO, CAP'N USOPP! IT WAS ME." A small chibi Usopp cheers, "WOOOOAH!!" while another panel shows a giant exclaiming, "RED TOWER OVER ANY OF YOU THREE TIMES OVER! In the next row, a giant with a mustache reacts in shock, "NO SHAME IN THAT! THEY'RE A SIGHT TO BEHOLD! MERMAID COVE IS MORE ENTICING THAN HEAVEN ITSELF!" A woman with glasses smiles, "I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE A MERMAID!" while another notes, "YOU SHOULD SEE FISHMAN ISLAND. THERE'S AS MANY SKIN TONES AS THERE ARE FISH IN THE SEA!" Sanji appears with heart eyes, "WOW, YOUR SKIN REALLY IS BLUE!" The bottom panels erupt in chaos as Sanji is mobbed by giant women: "BEAUTIES EVERYWHERE I LOOK! I'M GETTING BURIED IN BABES!!" In a bustling Elbaf hall, giants and allies raise mugs in celebration. "I'M SURPRISED SO MANY GIANTS HAVE NEVER GONE OUT TO SEA." "YEAH!" "I GUESS IT'S A BIG WIDE WORLD OUT THERE!! LET'S TOAST TO IT!!" "I CAN ANSWER WITH MY OWN BLUES!! MY 'WHAT THE HECK AM I DOIN'I!' YEAH!!" A skull-helmeted figure leans in, asking "AND WHAT ARE YOUI" The reply comes uncertainly: "WHOI ME...I" Someone muses, "I KIND OF ASSUMED THEY WERE ALL PIRATES..." The mood shifts as a massive giant face looms; a long-haired woman is addressed: "NAMI-TASO... I WADDA APOLOGIZE TO YA AND DIS UDDER STRAW HAT 'BOUT BEFORE..." THE LEGENDS ARE WRITTEN IN AN ARCHAIC LANGUAGE, SO THERE HAVE BEEN COUNTLESS INTERPRETATIONS." The "SACRED 'HARLEY' TEXTS" are invoked amid wild reactions and SFX like "ウナオオオ" and "バチ". A horned giant bellows about the name: "AND THE NAME OF SUN GOD NIKA IS INVOKED AFTER EACH INSTANCE." Another states, "NIKA..." while a voice notes, "NO ONE CAN SAY FOR SURE WHICH TRANSLATION IS ACCURATE, AND THIS IS THE RESULT... ACCORDING TO THE 'HARLEY' TEXTS, THE WORLD HAS ALREADY BEEN DESTROYED TWICE BEFORE..."

The narration continues over a dramatic illustration of Nika: "THAT'S WHY..." "ALL WE KNOW FOR SURE IS THAT HE HERALDS GREAT CHANGE!" "OR THE GREAT DESTROYER WHO BROUGHT IT CRASHING DOWN..." "WHO CAN SAY IF HE WAS THE WORLD'S SAVIOR..." "THE RULERS OF THE DAY ALWAYS TEND TO FEAR NIKA'S RETURN." A small voice ponders, "HMM... NIKA..." Further panels reveal, "THEY SAY 'NIKA' IS ADORNED BY WHITE CLOUDS," "SOMEONE THE HOPELESS AND DESPERATE TURN TO FOR SALVATION." "YES, THE 'SUN GOD' HAS BECOME A SYMBOL..." A helmeted child realizes, "...THAT'S THE GUY BONNEY MENTIONED..." with details of "WHITE HAIR, AND WHITE CLOTHES TO BOOT... AND HE IS SAID TO HAVE A CONTAGIOUS, BOOMING LAUGH." The goggled man concludes, "BUT I'M SURE HE'S GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH ME!!" as "ハタI!" erupts and he exclaims, "NO WONDER EVERYONE'S BEEN SAYING I LOOK SIMILAR!"

The giants argue heatedly about Rodo and the shared dream of Nika. One declares, "NOT TO DEFEND RODO, BUT HE WASN'T LYING ABOUT US ALL SHARING THE SAME DREAM!!" Others shout, "WE ALL LOOK UP TO NIKA!!" "YOU'D UNDERSTAND IF YOU WERE BORN ON ELBAF!!" and "DON'T BE SO DISMISSIVE, STRAW HAT!!" An unseen voice mutters, "HMMM..." The debate turns darker as another giant insists, "NOTHING CAN JUSTIFY WHAT HE DID, ELDER!!" while others add, "...WAS HIS ATTEMPT TO FOLLOW IN NIKA'S FOOTSTEPS..." "I BELIEVE HIS MOTIVE FOR HAROLD'S MURDER..." and "LOKI WAS THE SAME..." A massive outburst erupts with the cry "NO WAY IN HELL!!!" followed by "SO HE'S A GOOD GUYI" and a small helmeted figure murmuring, "HMM... LOKI..."

The giants recount Loki's cursed origins. "THEN SHORTLY AFTER HIS BIRTH, THE ROYAL STEED 'THE HORSE OF FORTUNE' DIED...!!" A prophecy foretold that King Harold would be slain by his son, making Loki "THE ACCURSED PRINCE." As a child, Loki killed many ferocious beasts and tamed the rest, releasing a few into villages at age ten. "THE PRINCELING WOULD GO ON TO USE HIS NATURAL STRENGTH TO MAKE THE REALM OF THE DEAD HIS OWN PERSONAL PLAYGROUND." Tragedies continued; the queen passed the same year as the legendary hero Jorul. Loki's malicious authority caused chaos whenever the king looked away, turning him into an arsonist who endangered countless lives.

A splendid wise man once tried to connect Elbaf with the outside world to change its feared reputation. In the castle, Loki killed King Harold. Lord Jarul was stabbed trying to stop him, his helmet saving him but not the king. The giants note that Shanks really came to Elbaf. A small figure on a surfboard exclaims, "MY HELMET SAVED ME IN THE END. IT DIDN'T SAVE ANYTHING!!" while others react with shock. The scene shifts to a wide view of chaos as the giants discuss Shanks' visit six years ago when Loki was captured by the Red Hair Pirates.

At the village outskirts, the giants press the point: "YOU REALIZE HE'S A REVILED KING SLAYER, RIGHTI" "EVERYTHING HE TOLD YOU WAS OBVIOUSLY JUST A LIE!!" and "THAT EXPLAINS IT. I THOUGHT YOU WERE ACTING WEIRDLY ON EDGE EARLIER." A seated figure with glasses and fur coat says, "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW BADLY I WANNA SEE HIM AGAINI! HE SAID HE KNEW WHERE SHANKS WAS!!" The horned child shouts back, "YES, I'VE HEARD ABOUT IT A THOUSAND TIMES... SOUNDS TO ME LIKE HE WAS LYING THAT TO TRICK YOU. HOW WOULD YOU KNOWI YOU'VE NEVER MET LOKI YOURSELF!" The figure replies, "IF THAT WAS REALLY A LIE, I'M GONNA SEND HIM FLYING!!" and later, "I HAVEN'T... I'M JUST GUESSING BASED ON HIS REPUTATION..."

Nami glares forward with a stern expression, questioning, "DID YOU SERIOUSLY EXPECT TO FIND YOUR WAY THERE WITHOUT MEI" and warning, "IF YOU'RE SNEAKING OFF TO DO WHAT I THINK YOU ARE..." Below, Luffy sits excitedly in a striped boat while a small girl clings to him, declaring him her new slave and proclaiming, "I'M TRULY BLESSED!!" Sanji reacts with shock, asking why the guy is here, as Nami's group discusses sneaking in. A voice urges, "LISTEN UP, LUFFY, WE'LL GET THE KEY," while another warns, "BUT IF HE PULLS ANYTHING FUNNY, WE'LL HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF HIM." Luffy cheers, "GOT IT!! THANKS!!" Nami and Sanji banter about navigation and blood pumping, with Sanji vowing, "DON'T EVER TRY TO GET CLOSE TO ME AGAIN," as Nami replies affectionately, "YES, MAYAMI."

He declares, "THEN I'M AFRAID I'LL HAVE TO STEP BACK AND REFUSE YOUR OFFER!!" and questions becoming scum like the Celestial Dragons. The scene cuts to two hooded figures in the snow; one reports, "...REPORTED A GIANT CROW HEADING FOR THEM BEFORE THEIR TRANSMISSIONS GOT CUT OFF," noting all informants were sent to Elbaf and asking, "DO WE HAVE ANY INTELI" The other replies their weakness is beyond belief.

God's Knight Gunko stands tall in a black coat and goggles, declaring, "I'M DONE JUST STANDING BY AND LISTENING..." and calling the situation the definition of impertinence. A hooded companion warns, "DON'T BE HASTY, GUNKO," but Gunko refuses to let it stand. In the background, a massive wolf-like beast growls, "GRRR RRRR," looming over the hooded figures with a question mark floating nearby as debris flies and the label "GOD'S KNIGHT GUNKO" is displayed.

A figure in a tall hat and goggles warns, "STAY BACK IF YOU WANT TO KEEP BREATHING." Another voice calls out "HEY." In the next panels a massive wolf-like beast lunges forward with jaws wide, as someone shouts "EAT 'EM UP, WOLF!!" and "DOGA HA HA!" The creature clamps down violently while the background figure watches. The wolf rears back with a powerful "AWOOO" and "GACK!!" "ACK" as impact lines and debris fly. Smaller panels show close-ups of the beast thrashing, marked by "GRRR" and "GRRR," while the goggled figure reacts with surprise. At the bottom a tall cloaked man looks up and yells "HEY, WOLF!!" as another voice answers "HUHI!"

The wolf creature continues to snarl "GRRR GRRR" while a voice reflects, "SO... THAT'S HOW YOU OPERATE, HUH..." and "WELL IF THAT WAS YOUR OFFER." Two figures debate: "WOULD YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND THENI" "IF WE WERE TO SPARE HIM..." and "WOLF!!" The cloaked figure stands firm, declaring "BUT A WARRIOR NEVER KICKS AND SCREAMS IN THE FACE OF DEATH!!" Another answers, "IT'S OKAY TO GRIEVE AND RAGE..." and "I'D ACCEPT MY FRIEND'S FATE... AND WISH HIM PEACE IN DEATH." In a massive close-up the central character, face twisted with fury, proclaims "AND USE IT TO FUEL ME WHEN I REDUCE THIS WORLD TO RUBBLE!!" and "I'LL SWALLOW ALL MY FURY..."
