The Sun God's Wrath

Luffy rockets through the air with an enormous grin, arm stretched forward in a massive punch. Below him, Nami clings to a pink segmented creature while gripping a weapon, Usopp fires a massive cannon from a flying platform, and Sanji soars on a broom-like device. A giant purple tentacled beast with sharp teeth and multiple limbs dominates the background, its body coiling around towers and debris. The giant ONE PIECE logo appears in the lower left as the crew battles amid a crumbling cityscape.

Sanji holds Nami close with a sword in hand and declares, "IN THAT CASE, NAMI-SAN... WHAT KIND OF DREAMS ARE YOU HAVINGI" Nami replies with a sharp look. A voice notes, "TOO MANY DUDES AROUND FOR THIS TO BE A DREAM..." Text reads "A NEW LOOK!!" The scene shifts to a massive tree and blocky stone towers in a floating town. A small figure falls while shouting "GXAAAH!!" and "LET'S FLYYY!" Nami says, "I WOKE UP ON THE OTHER END OF TOWN." Usopp yells, "CAREFUL, THIS PLACE IS FALLING APART!" Below, Franky shouts, "IT ALREADY HAD ME IN ITS MOUTH WHEN I CAME TO! I TOTALLY LOST MY COOL!!" Usopp asks, "YOU COULD'VE TAKEN THAT CAT-LION THING, RIGHT, USOPPII" A voice answers, "I HEARD A NOISE AND FOLLOWED IT TILL I FOUND THIS GOOF BEATING UP A BIG RABBIT..."

Luffy stands with the crew atop stone steps before a giant tree and towering blocky castle. He shouts, "MY RADAR ISN'T PICKING UP ROBIN-CHAN. HOW D'YOU KNOWI THE OTHERS DON'T SEEM TO BE HERE. YOU'RE RIGHT. LET'S HEAD TO TOWN!" Nami asks, "ARE YOU A HOUNDI" Brook replies with a sniff. Luffy continues, "BESIDES, THIS AREA'S TOO VAST, AND WE HAVE NO IDEA WHICH WAY THE SEA IS. WE WON'T CLEAR THIS UP WITHOUT CHATTING TO THEM. I THINK THERE'S PEOPLE IN TOWN." Usopp adds, "OUR THREADS RESEMBLE WHAT THE WARRIORS OF ELBAF ARE ALWAYS WEARING... BUT THERE'S NO WAY THEY'D HAVE CLOTHES THAT'D FIT US... WE'RE TALKING ABOUT AN ISLAND OF GIANTS, AFTER ALL!" Luffy yells, "IT'S TIME FOR ADVENTURE!!" Nami questions, "WHY ARE YOU SO AMPED UPI YOU REALIZE WE KNOW LITERALLY NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE, RIGHTI THIS IS SUCH A WIDE OPEN SPACE, BUT I CAN'T FEEL ANY WIND... IT'S EERIE." Usopp suggests, "LET'S JUST ASK ABOUT THEM IN TOWN!!" A voice wonders, "THEN AGAIN, THIS TREE IS DEFINITELY FAKE... LET'S SAY THIS IS ELBAF... COULD WE HAVE BEEN GIGANTIFIEDI" Luffy declares, "DON'T FEAR, NAMI-SAN! I'M HERE FOR YOU!"

Luffy stares in shock as small horned figures flee across a stone bridge. "WOAH! THAT'S GROSS!! GYAAH!! WAIT A MINUTE! HUHI SOMETHING'S COMING. HMI" A massive grasshopper-like creature with ornate armor and a long tail bursts onto the scene, ridden by a wild-haired warrior in a spiked helmet. The rider calls out, "YOU MUST BE NEWCOMERS. HELLO THERE." Luffy exclaims, "OH MAN! A GRASS-HOPPERI! THAT'S SO COOL!" The creature lands with a heavy impact, "ドンッ!!" Below, an elderly bearded man in furs apologizes, "MY APOLOGIES. I'M IN TOO MUCH OF A RUSH TO STAY AND CHAT..." while a group of onlookers questions the strangers: "DO YOU KNOW WHERE OUR CREWMATES AREI! WHERE IS THIS PLACEI! WHO ARE YOU, OLD-TIMERI!" A woman with long hair warns, "NO WAY! NUH-UH! KEEP THAT BUG AWAY!!" The old man notes, "THAT'S A LOT OF QUESTIONS..."

The grasshopper rider explains the land while gesturing toward a distant castle on a giant tree. "NO... A CAT... OH, SOMEONE LIVES THEREI...IS THE DOMAIN OF DEITIES LIKE THE GREAT ISKAT. EVEN THE BIG STEINN CASTLE WHICH I HELP MAINTAIN... GODI JUST REMEMBER, THIS VAST LAND BELONGS TO THE SUN GOD." The rider adds, "TO PUT IT SIMPLY, THIS IS A LAND OF GODS." In a lower scene, the rider continues, "IF YOU'RE HUNGRY, HEAD TO TOWN FOR SOME FODDER RATIONS. ALL THAT UPROAR OVER THE EAR GOD BEING BURNED REALLY DELAYED ME! THE NEEDLE GOD MUST BE STARVING BY NOW... NOW THEN, I MUST BE OFF." Luffy reacts with surprise, "NGH! AH, OUR BAD! WE KINDA WHOOPED THAT CA--!!" A helmeted warrior shouts, "GAH!" while a braided girl looks worried. The old man warns, "THAT WORDING!! TAKE IT BACK BEFORE--!!" and declares, "THE RABID GUARDIANS PROTECT THE SUN GOD'S TEMPLE BEYOND THAT POINT! NO-ONE HAS EVER VENTURED PAST THERE AND RETURNED TO TELL THE TALE!" Luffy ponders, "HMMM..."

The grasshopper rider suddenly attacks, sending Luffy flying backward with a massive impact, "WAAAA AAAIT! ズドンッ!!" The old man reacts in shock, "HUH--I!" The braided girl apologizes with a wink, "SORRY ABOUT ALL THIS! ♥ ZAV" while Luffy lands with, "AAAH... THANKS A LOT, GRAMPS!" In the lower panels, Luffy sits up dazed, "HUHI! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CASTLEI!" The rider warns, "YOU AND LUFFY BASICALLY ENABLE EACH OTHER AT THIS POINT! DON'T YOU EVER THINK THINGS THROUGHI!" and questions, "RABID GUARDIANS, HUH...I" A voice asks, "...I!"

Luffy leaps up excitedly, fist raised, "DIDN'T YOU HEAR HIMI RABID GUARDIANSI! GODSI! THIS PLACE REEKS OF ADVENTURE!" Someone yells, "HOLD UP, LUFFY!! THIS PLACE IS SERIOUSLY HUGE!!" The group travels along a vast stone road lined with floating platforms and distant castles. Luffy wonders, "JUST HOW LONG IS THIS FREAKING ROADI! HUFF HUFF. WAIT, LOOK AT THAT CASTLE! DOESN'T IT LOOK LIKE THE OTHER ONE...I" The rider notes, "CAN'T SEE ANY BUILDINGS AHEAD..." while small figures run in the distance. Luffy spots movement, "HMI SOMEONE'S RUNNING THIS WAY! THEY'RE IN ELBAF GEAR, TOO..." and reacts with, "!!I"

The crew stares in shock at the massive wire netting and broken structure around them. "UNBELIEVABLE!!" someone cries. "THAT MEANS..." "WHAT THE..." A huge impact rocks the area as "バリィィン!! CRAAAAACK" echoes and the sky visibly fractures overhead. "WHAAATI! THE SKY IS BREAKINGI!" Nami shouts from a small inset. Inside the giant enclosure, Usopp yells, "IT'S A GIANT ROOM!!" Zoro notes, "WE CAN'T STILL BE ON THAT HUGE SHIP THOUGH." Smaller voices react: "I'LL BET THERE'S GENUINE GIANTS THIS WAY..." "IS THIS WHOLE PLACE SOME KIND OF PET CAGEI!" "THIS IS THE WORST...!!" From below, a voice calls desperately, "GUYS!! ARE YOU THEREI! WAS THAT NOISE YOUI! HEEEELP MEEE!!" "WHATI!!" The group questions the wire netting and the unnatural scale of the room. On the streets below, panicked residents look up as debris falls: "EVERYTHING'S GOING TO HELL!!" "WHAT'S GOING ONI!" "LOOK!! THE SKY! IT'S COMING FROM THE HOLY TEMPLE!" "WAAAH!" "NO... OVER THERE!"

Luffy bursts into tears with a massive grin, crying out "I'M SOOO GLAD TO SEE YOU!!" while sobbing heavily. "UWAAAAA AGHHH!!" he wails. Inside the giant chamber, the crew examines their surroundings and a broken steel collar. Nami states, "WE MUST'VE BEEN DRESSED UP LIKE DOLLS..." "THIS IS CLEARLY A GIANT'S ROOM, SO WHAT'S WITH ALL THE HUMAN-SIZED CLOTHING...I" Chopper adds, "I WAS SURE I WAS GOING TO DIEEEE!! THE COLLAR WAS MADE OF STEEL. I COULDN'T GET IT OFF..." Nami continues, "EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE OKAY...♡ THERE, THERE, CHOPPER." She hugs him tightly. "STILL, THIS IS SOME FINE CRAFTSMANSHIP. THIS SUN GOD MUST BE VERY SKILLED..." "THAT'S COLD! Through a large glass-like barrier, the crew sees the giant's room beyond. "WHAT KIND OF MAGIC MIRROR IS THISI IT'S LIKE NORMAL GLASS ON THIS END." "WAIT!! IT'S SEE-THROUGH NOW!" Outside, armored giants and figures stand among trees and structures. Inside, the group reacts: "THAT'S CREEPY. WE'RE ON ELBAF, RIGHTI THIS IS A REAL GIANT'S ROOM, SO THERE MUST BE A REAL GIANT ISLAND OUT THERE..." "THE GIANT LIKES TO WATCH THE ANIMALS AND PEOPLE TRAPPED IN THAT BLOCK WORLDI!" "SO THIS IS SOME KIND OF SICK HOBBYI!" Nami glares fiercely, "DON'T YOU DARE!!" as a small figure tries to volunteer, "NAVI-SAN! I VOLUNTEER TO CLEAN THE LADIES' ROOM ON THE SHIP LAT--" Luffy pumps his fist, "FOR REALI! HECK YEAH!" In the lower section, the crew debates their next move. WHERE ARE THE OTHERSI!" "ALL WE CAN REALLY SAY IS A GIANT'S BEHIND THIS." "HOW CAN YOU BE SO SUREI" Chopper looks up at Luffy, "IT'S BETTER TO FACE THEM THAN RISK A CONFRONTATION WITH A GIANT. HEY, ARE YOU LISTENING, LUFFY...I"

A massive snake-like temple guardian lunges forward with jaws open. "AGGGGH!! GO FOR IT!!" someone yells as a small armored figure leaps through the air. "YEAH, I JUST THOUGHT I'D BLOW THIS GUY AWAY FIRST..." The snake snaps with "ギャアアアア" sound effects. Below, a winged figure with a staff stands on a wooden beam. "HOW IS THIS A 'TEMPLE' THOUGH!" "DON'T TELL ME... THESE ARE THOSE RABID TEMPLE GUARDIANSI" A small mouse-like creature squeaks "SQUEAK SQUEAK" while clinging to a panicked man's face. "LOOK DOWN THERE! RATS!" Another winged guardian swoops in from above with "キャアア" cries. "I'M STILL FULL FROM THE RABBIT, SO I'M JUST GONNA SEND THESE GUYS FLYING." The man with the staff continues fighting as the crow-like creature attacks from overhead. "AND ABOVE US! A CROW!" "CAAAWWW"

In a stone corridor, an antlered figure in a dark cloak walks forward holding a staff topped with a sun symbol, small sound effects marking each step. A massive boot suddenly descends from above, crushing part of the floor as someone screams "WAAH!! GYAAAH!!" The antlered figure pauses in front of a large wooden door, staff glowing, and mutters "..." Flames begin to spread along the walls and floor. In close-up, the figure's skull-like face with antlers looms as it shouts, "HEY I'M NOT THE ONE WHO BUSTED THE FIREPLACE AND LET THE FLAMES SPREAD! WAIT, LUFFY!! THAT'S OVER-KILL!!" while gesturing. Nearby voices warn, "DON'T PLAY AROUND, GUYS..." and "IF YOU DON'T FINISH THEM OFF BEFORE THE SUN GOD GETS HERE..."

The temple erupts in chaos as the antlered figure is hurled through the air amid flames and debris, crying "MY BELOVED TEMPLE!" and "WHAAAAAT! IT CAN'T BE!" while laughing "A-HYA HYA HYA HYA!" A giant snake-like form coils through the destruction. Below, Luffy stretches his arm and yells "GUM-GUM...!!" before delivering a powerful strike labeled "MUGINN!!"
