The battle rages on with SAINT SATURN!! shouted as the massive form is hurled through the air. CRASH!! and ハイシャアン!! erupt as the body slams into the ground, kicking up clouds of dust and rubble. Multiple panels show the relentless assault: ドシャ!! and ボカン!! as machinery and structures are destroyed. The giant figure continues its rampage, smashing through equipment with ガシャン!! and バキン!! while smaller figures are caught in the chaos. Debris flies everywhere as the fight tears apart the surroundings.

Panic spreads through the town. "WHAT'S GOING ONI!" "DID KUMA DO THATI!" people shout as buildings crumble under ズズゥゥゥン!! The town is in ruins. Below, a battered Kuma pants heavily. "HE ATTACKED ONE OF THE WORLD'S GREAT OVERSEERS...!!" "...ONE OF THE FIVE ELDERS!!" "...P-P-PUNCHED..." "H-H-HE J-JUST..." Voices cry out in disbelief. "THIS IS UNPRECEDENTED!!" "HE'S UNDER THE RUBBLE!!" "GO HELP SAINT SATURN AT ONCE!!" "FOR SOMEONE OF HIS STATUS TO BE STRUCK BY A SLAVE...!!" The crowd stares in horror at the fallen Elder.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THISI THAT'S A GOOD QUESTION... THE TRUTH IS, I DIDN'T INSTALL A TRADITIONAL SELF-DESTRUCT MECHANISM..." Kuma explains while the chaos continues. "ESCAPING THE ISLAND IS OUR ONLY OBJECTIVE!!" "THIS IS OUR CHANCE!! GET BONNEY TO THE UPPER LEVELS!!" "HEY!! WE CAN MOVE AGAIN!! BONNEY-CHAN, ARE YOU HURTI!" A young girl with long hair stands amid the rubble. Narration continues: "...KNOWING HOW THOSE BASTARDS WOULD TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THAT!! BUT... I STILL KEPT MY WORD. I JUST USED A DIFFERENT KIND OF FAIL-SAFE!!" Kuma's massive hands reach out as he says, "I COULDN'T BEAR THE IDEA OF MAKING YOU INTO A BOMB..." The final panel shows him kneeling, smoke rising, with the narration: "BETWEEN THAT AND THE LOSS OF YOUR INDIVIDUALITY, YOU SHOULD BE NOTHING BUT A VEGETABLE NOW... INCAPABLE OF RECEIVING ORDERS... AND HE ACTIVATED IT! I PROGRAMMED IT TO SHUT YOUR BODY DOWN COMPLETELY..."

A close-up shows an elderly man with wild hair and a long beard sweating heavily as narration reads, "IT CAN'T BE WHAT I'M THINKING, CAN ITI THE BUCCANEERS WERE SAID TO HAVE A SPECIAL CHARACTERISTIC BEYOND THEIR STRONG BODIES. AFTER ALL, YOUR PEOPLE ONCE..." In the next panel a scarred, bandaged man with a cybernetic eye looms over Bonney, declaring, "EVEN ACCOUNTING FOR BONNEY'S PRESENCE HERE... YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REACH US!! SO HOW ARE YOU STILL MOVINGI! THIS ALMOST SEEMS BEYOND SCIENCE..." Below, marines panic: "HE DISAPPEARED RIGHT BEFORE WE COULD APPREHEND HIM! THERE'S NO WAY WE CAN CALL-IN SUCH A FAILURE!! WHERE'S STRAW HATI!" Kuma appears with crossed arms, a voice calling "KUMA!!" as another says "...ISN'T ITI ITS OVER..." Bonney, tear-streaked and smiling, clutches Kuma's hand and cries, "AND I SAW HOW YOU ACTUALLY WROTE ME LOTS AND LOTS OF LETTERS... THAT MADE ME SO HAPPY!! MOMMY SEEMED LIKE AN AMAZING WOMAN. I SAW YOUR MEMORIES...!!" Kuma embraces her as she finishes, "THANK YOU, DADDY... FOR EVERYTHING."

Kuma kneels and hugs Bonney tightly amid swirling smoke and debris. She tells him, "TO ME, YOU'RE THE COOLEST PERSON IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!! I'LL NEVER EVER FORGET THAT!!" A small "HUG..." floats above them. Bonney continues, "I DON'T CARE IF EVERYONE ELSE CALLS YOU A TYRANT... 'CAUSE I KNOW THERE'S NO ONE KINDER THAN MY DAD!!" The scene erupts in a massive explosion labeled "CRASH!!" as distant figures shout "SAINT SATURNI!" and "ARGH!!" while the massive structure collapses around them.

Bonney screams "AH!!" as Kuma is violently stomped into the rubble with a loud "STOMP!!" Vegapunk's massive dragon-like form looms, flames and smoke pouring from his body. He demands, "I AM STILL WAITING FOR AN EXPLANATION... WAS THIS YOUR DOINGI" A smaller Vegapunk head replies, "...THAT I'M ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE. I SUPPOSE IT'D BE FAIR TO SAY... BUT IF YOU'RE A ROMANTIC, YOU COULD JUST AS EASILY CHALK THIS UP TO THE POWER OF LOVE..." Saturn's giant hand reaches down as he states, "I SEE... AS USUAL, TO ERR IS HUMAN. HOW SHORT-SIGHTED. YOU GENTLEMEN HAVE OUTLIVED YOUR USEFULNESS. FAREWELL." The old Vegapunk head yells in shock, "WHAT THEI! HIS BODY...!! IT'S REGENERATING!!"

Kuma charges forward with Bonney on his back as she shouts, "DADDY, GET OUTTA THE WAY!! YOU'VE GOTTA MOVE!!" A spiky-haired man yells, "I'M NOT GONNA LET YOU..." Saturn's massive leg crashes down, sending debris flying. Kuma is struck hard; a voice cries, "...UPSET BONNEY-CHAN ANYMORE, YOU DIRTY, OLD SPIDER!!" Kuma clutches his chest in pain. Nearby, a striped-shirted man with glasses says, "MY GOODNESS... YOU CERTAINLY HAVE GROWN A LOT." Another figure exclaims, "RADICAL... YEAH!! WE OWE KUMA A HUGE DEBT, TOO!!"

A massive explosion erupts as a figure is blasted by a powerful beam attack. "...BEAM!!" reads the large sound effect. Franky screams in shock, "FRANKY!!!" A Vegapunk with long hair and glasses calmly states, "LET'S PUT YOUR GROWTH TO THE TEST!!" Nearby, a small robot-like figure and a wide-eyed character react with "UP" and "!!" as the beam strikes. In the lower panels, a dark silhouette is struck hard, with "URGH!!!" and large impact SFX "コォーン!!" while "SCHLOOP" and "..." appear near swirling smoke and debris.

The Buster Call is authorized. A massive fleet of Marine warships surrounds Egghead as the narrator declares, "BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE WORLD GOVERNMENT, THIS ISLAND HAS BEEN DECLARED A THREAT TO THE ENTIRE WORLD!! Atlas carries Vegapunk while shouting, "ATLAS, CAN YOU CARRY HIM TO OUR MEETING POINT IN THE LABO-STRATUMI!" and a woman cries, "VEGAPUNK!! DAD CAN'T MOVE!!" Kizaru smirks, "NOW THAT KUMA'S JOINED US, WOULDN'T YOU AGREE THERE ARE TOO MANY PLAYERS ON THE BOARDI" Vegapunk replies, "I THINK IT'S ABOUT TIME WE WRAPPED THIS UP..." A close-up shows a stern face with narration: "...AND A PIRATE WHO AWAKENED THE POWER OF THAT ANCIENT 'GOD.' THIS ISLAND HAS BEEN COMPLETELY INFESTED. THE FORCES OF JUSTICE LOOM!!"
