Apple bombs rain down with cries of "THEY'RE APPLE BOMBS!! TAKE COVER!!" and "EAT THIS!" A cloaked fighter is struck amid "!!!" and "TOSS" effects, muttering "ARCH... DON'T DIE ON ME NOW, STRONGER..." while a horse neighs "NEIGH!!" and a voice notes "YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN SUCH A GOOD BOY..." Smaller panels show a character firing "PEW", water splashes, and a round figure gulping with "GULP!" amid sound effects.

Chaos continues with a massive circular blast marked "BOOM" and "!!!". Jean Bart shouts orders: "JEAN BART! SNIPER AT THREE O'CLOCK!" A voice taunts, "YOU AIN'T GOT A CHANCE AGAINST US IN A SEA BATTLE! A massive shockwave erupts as an unseen attacker is struck. "THE HELL IS THISI!" a bearded pirate yells in shock. "SHOCK WILLE!" rings out. In the chaos, a long-haired figure is hurled backward with a pained "BUGEEH!" amid flying debris and impact lines. A man in a top hat and glasses appears, declaring "WARP!" as the scene shifts. "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CHARGE IN HALF-COCKED..." he states calmly while the battered opponent coughs violently, "KOFF!" with wide, dazed eyes.

Van Augur lands on a rocky outcrop after warping, still coughing "KOFF!" as he shouts "DON'T BE AN IDIOT! WE FINISH WHAT WE START!" Nearby, a crewmate asks "SHALL WE RETURN TO THE SHIP, COMMODOREI" while laughing "ZE HA HA HA HA!" Blackbeard's silhouette looms dramatically as the crew reacts in terror: "BLACKBEARD'S HERE!!" The massive pirate pants heavily, "HUFF. HUFF. ZEE... HAAH..." while an officer questions "DO ALL YOUR OFFICERS HAVE DEVIL FRUIT POWERSI" A grinning crew member replies "MUST BE A PRETTY RAW DEAL, HAULING AROUND SO MANY ANCHORS! THEY CALL 'EM DEVIL FRUITS FOR A REASON!" and another adds "THAT WEAKNESS IS WELL WORTH THE TRADE-OFF!!"

Explosions rock the sea as the Blackbeard Pirates' ship is struck from below. "THE BASTARDS ARE TRYIN' TO SINK US!!" a crewman yells. "GWAAAH!! THEY'RE ATTACKIN' FROM BELOW!" another screams. Inside a damaged room, allies note "...WE MIGHT BE TAKIN' A POUNDIN' NOW," while spotting underwater attackers: "WHO KNEW THEY WERE SO STRONG UNDERWATERI!" In a dramatic close-up, Charlotte Pudding appears with a fierce glare. "NEW ERAS ONLY HAPPEN WHEN THE OLD LEGENDS ARE TORN DOWN!" she declares. "MAMA'S GONNA MAKE YOU EAT THOSE WORDS IF SHE'S STILL ALIVE...!!" she warns. "HYA HA HA! YOU REALIZE WE'RE FIGHTING HER KILLER NOW, RIGHTI!" a voice taunts as her name is displayed: BIG MOM PIRATE CHARLOTTE PUDDING.

A colossal "BLACK VORTEX!" swallows everything in a spiraling maelstrom as Blackbeard laughs maniacally. An ally reacts with "!!I" sweat flying. Below deck, a Marine officer in a cap rages: "BEING FLEET ADMIRAL... IS SO DAMN FRUSTRATING!! SO WE'RE FORCED TO WAIT AGAIN..." A transponder snail reports: "BLACKBEARD AND TRAFALGAR LAW... HAVE MADE CONTACT ON WINNER ISLAND IN THE NEW WORLD!"

On the Island of the Future, the Pacifistas halt their attack as soon as the group changes appearance. Meanwhile on Egghead, an older Luffy sits slumped with a weary expression. Bonney stands nearby while Franky, also aged, rides a mechanical reindeer-like creature. "WOW, THE PACIFISTAS STOPPED AS SOON AS WE CHANGED...!!!" someone exclaims. Bonney speaks to the aged Luffy: "KUMA MAY NO LONGER BE HUMAN, BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT ANY EASIER FOR HIS DAUGHTER TO COME FACE TO FACE WITH HIS DOPPELGANGER... HAVE A HEART, LUFFY! SORRY, BONNEY. PACIFISTAS JUST BRING UP SOME BAD MEMORIES FOR US. IT ONLY LOOKS LIKE YOUR DAD. IF WE CAN'T TAKE ANY OF 'EM OUT, WE'LL BE IN TROUBLE-- AND I GET HOW YOU FEEL, BUT... THAT'S GOOD, BUT DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE ME THIS OLD, BONNEYI" The aged Luffy wheezes heavily. Franky asks, "HEY, CAN YOU TURN ME BACKI" while panting, "PANT- PANT-" A caption reads "LUFFY AGED 70 (A GLIMPSE AT A POSSIBLE FUTURE)".

The aged Franky continues explaining Kuma's past: "HE WAS THE TYRANICAL KING OF SORBET... BEFORE HE WAS DEPOSED BY THE PEOPLE AND FORCED TO BECOME A PIRATE. NOTHING PERSONAL, BONNEY... BUT WHAT I KNOW ABOUT KUMA, DOESN'T PAINT A PRETTY PICTURE." An image of Kuma as king appears. Bonney listens as the story continues: "VEGAPUNK TOOK AN INTEREST IN HIM DUE TO HIS PHYSICAL PROWESS, AND THEY GAVE HIM A LIFE SENTENCE. WHEN HE WAS EVENTUALLY CAUGHT BY THE NAVY, HIS TIES TO THE REVOLUTIONARIES CAME TO LIGHT... SO HE WAS OFFERED THE OPPORTUNITY TO ROAM THE SEAS AGAIN AS A WARLORD..." Bonney reacts in shock: "BUT WHY WOULD ANYONE KNOWINGLY AGREE TO BECOME A MINDLESS CYBORG...I! ANYONE CAN SEE IT'S JUST AS BAD AS A DEATH SENTENCE!!" The aged Franky adds, "I GET WHY HE'D CHOOSE TO BE A WARLORD DOG AND HELP THEM MAKE THEIR CLONE SOLDIERS..." while questioning, "...FOR BODY MODIFICATION AND CLONING!! ON THE CONDITION THAT HE BECOME A SPECIMEN... DOES THAT COVER ITI"

The aged Franky presses on: "AND HE HATED THE GOVERNMENT! HE'D NEVER SUBMIT TO THEM!! THEY MUST'VE FORCED HIM TO ACCEPT THE PROCEDURES SOMEHOW!!" A slash attack lands with "SLASH" and "GYAH!" as someone yells "DADDY WAS NO STINKIN' TYRANT!!" Bonney retorts about Kuma's crimes. The aged Franky wonders which story is true. Elsewhere, a small figure declares, "HE MAY CALL HIMSELF A SCIENTIST, BUT TO ME HE'S JUST A MURDERER!" while another notes, "WE MUST BE IN A SCRAPYARD FOR VEGAPUNK'S JUNK. THIS STILL WORKS THOUGH." A massive figure swings a beam saber, shouting "THAT'S AWESOME!! A BEAM SABERI!" Luffy suddenly appears, yelling "YOU SAID IT! A SPECIAL RACEI" as Bonney activates something with a "CLICK" and declares, "DAD ALWAYS USED TO SAY HE WAS PART OF A VERY SPECIAL RACE... AND IT SURE AS HELL DOESN'T JUSTIFY KILLIN' HIM! BUT SO WHATI! HIM BEING DIFFERENT DOESN'T JUSTIFY FORCIN' HIM TO BE A LAB RAT!"

The Thousand Sunny soars through the sky aboard a massive robot. "THE ROBOT'S SOARING THROUGH THE AIR! WOOOA AAAH!! WE'RE FLYING!!" the crew shouts as the robot fires thrusters with loud SFX. A sign reads "THE THOUSAND SUNNY". The robot's cockpit shows a small figure operating it. "NATURALLY, THIS IS VEGA FORCE 01 AFTER ALL! ITS ANTI-GRAV UNIT AND JET THRUSTERS... ALLOWS IT TO EASILY SUSTAIN THIS PROPULSION. THE ISLAND AIRCON IS ALSO NEEDED TO ENSURE A SUITABLE CLIMATE. ONE DAY, THIS WILL BE POSSIBLE ANYWHERE!" Vegapunk's voice explains. Below, the crew looks down at the futuristic city: "PRECISELY! THE WORLD OF TOMORROW IS BUILT HERE! IT'S LIKE SOME KIND OF FUTURISTIC CITY!! THERE'RE GIANT MONSTERS DOWN THERE!"

The crew reacts in awe as they descend toward the floating island. "WE CAN NATURALLY MAKE USE OF PYROBLOIN TO COAGULATE AND ALTER THE DENSITY OF WATER VAPOR... THUS RECREATING THE ISLAND AND SEA CLOUDS YOU USUALLY FIND ON SKY ISLANDS!" a voice explains. "SEEING AS WE CAN CONTROL THE ISLAND'S ATMOSPHERE AND ALL... IT'S AS YOU SURMISED!" another adds. Usopp tumbles through the air shouting "IT'S MY FIRST TIME! WHAT THE HECK IS THISI!" while Franky yells "WOAH! IT'S JUST LIKE THE SOLID CLOUDS FROM SKY ISLANDS!!" Nami warns "THAT WOMAN CAN'T BE TRUSTED..." as the group spots the massive structure ahead. A large sign reads "UNK RECORDS." The narration declares "THIS IS EGGHEAD, THE ISLAND OF THE FUTURE!! THE RESEARCH STRATUM IS RIGHT ABOVE THE CLOUDS." Vegapunk's voice continues, "THIS IS THE ENTRANCE TO THE MAIN LAB!" as the Straw Hats, now in special dom shoes and outfits, enter the gleaming facility. "YOU CAN GET A COSTUME FROM THE DRESSING TRANSFORMATION ROOM THERE!" someone instructs. "WOW! IT'S SO FLASHY!" Franky exclaims while leaping inside.

Inside the lab the crew tries on futuristic outfits. Nami twirls in a white bodysuit and boots, exclaiming "IT'S SO LIGHT... AND CUUUTE!!" Robin smiles in her dark jacket and shorts. Usopp, now in a Hawaiian shirt and goggles, complains "THESE JUST SCREAM 'ALOHA,' DON'T THEYI!" while Franky strikes a pose. A small robot-like figure appears as Vegapunk remarks "...IS THAT YOU CAN SEE YOUR OWN FUTURE COMING TOO. THE PROBLEM WITH BEING A GENIUS..." Someone mutters "I'LL BE DEAD SOON." and another warns "DON'T KID ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT." In the background a large speech bubble shouts "DRAGON!!" Nami and Robin receive compliments: "NAMI-SAN! YOU AND ROBIN-CHAN LOOK AMAZING!" and "WHAT CUTTING EDGE FASHION!" The page ends with the note "CH. 1064 /END BREAK NEXT WEEK."
