CHAPTER 1019: TRICERACOPTER. In a castle interior live floor, a dinosaur-like figure with horns attacks, shouting 'TAKE THIS!!' as beams fire with 'A SHOWER OF BEAMS!!'. Smoke and explosions fill the air. A voice yells 'HEY!! THAT WON'T WORK!!' while another apologizes 'AH! SORRY!!'. A woman with long hair comments 'A CONSTANT BARRAGE OF BEAMS...' and 'THAT SOUNDS LIKE TECH FRANKY WOULD LOVE TO GET HIS HANDS ON!'. Below, a bandaged man screams in panic 'ARE YOU SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOINGI HEEEEY!!' as another replies 'OH... WELL, LET'S NOT GET HUNG UP ON THE DETAILS.' and 'TAKE THEM OFF BEFORE YOU GIVE ME THE DAMN SHOT!! THERE ARE SO MANY LAYERS OF BANDAGES...'. Impact sounds and motion lines emphasize the frantic action.

The Polar Tang rocks violently in the raging Wano Sea as massive waves crash over the deck. Crew members shout desperately, "DON'T DIE ON US, STRAW HAT!!" and "HANG IN THERE!!" One yells, "DAMMIT! IF ONLY THE CAPTAIN WERE HERE!" Below deck, the crew surrounds an unconscious Luffy. "HIS FACE IS PALE!!" "WHAT DO WE DOI!" "NO! WE SHOULD GIVE HIM AN INJECTION!!" "SHOULD WE POUR SOME MEDICINE DOWN HIS THROATI!" Others urge, "OPEN YOUR EYES!! STRAW HAT!!" and "I'M NOT SURE IF BASIC FIRST AID IS ENOUGH!" "HE HAS ALREADY COUGHED UP A TON OF WATER, RIGHTI!" Suddenly Luffy's eyes snap open wide. He roars with a massive "MEAAAAT!!" as the crew reacts in shock with "HUHI!"

On the live floor of Onigashima, chaos erupts as headliners attack. A fighter shouts, "WHY ARE THE HEADLINERS ATTACKING USI!" while another cries, "WAAAH!! WAIT!!" A skull dome map labels "RIGHT BRAIN TOWER" and "ONI-GASHIMA, SKULL DOME." Queen laughs, "GAHAHAHA, ARE YOU GUYS HELPING MEI I THOUGHT YOU WERE HIS LACKEYS!" An ally retorts, "I DON'T CARE IF THE ENTIRE ARMORED UNIT IS BEING CONTROLLED, THIS IS STILL TREASON!!" Queen orders, "IRON BRO, FOCUS ON SASAKI AND LEAVE THESE GUYS TO US!!" The triceratops-headed fighter growls, "YOU'RE PRETTY TOUGH YOURSELF!" and "YOU REALLY ARE A TOUGH BASTARD... I MUST'VE DEALT YOU COUNTLESS FATAL BLOWS ALREADY!!" while complaining, "AND THAT'S A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS!!"

Queen towers with a massive weapon, declaring, "ALL OF THOSE UNLOYAL COCKROACHES!! I'M GONNA HEAD THERE AND SKEWER... SEEMS LIKE WE'VE BEEN BETRAYED ON THE LIVE FLOOR AS WELL..." He swings and yells, "NOW GET OUT OF MY WAY!!" Smaller panels show a spinning attack labeled "...HELIX SWORD!!" with sound effects "ギャイーン!!" and "カシャ カシャ" as someone mutters, "KARAKURI..." Queen continues, "I'M NOT COMPLAINING IF IT MEANS I HAVE A FEW MORE FRIENDS!! WHILE I'VE GOT NO CLUE WHY THOSE PUNKS JOINED US, AGAIN YOU AIN'T GOING NOWHERE WITH THAT SWORD!!"

Queen spins rapidly in the water like a helicopter, creating whirlpools with "どろん! どろん!" He laughs, "HAHAHA... I'M GLAD THEY WON'T BE GETTING BETWEEN US, BUT DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!!" Allies call out, "EITHER WAY, I'VE GOT TO HANDLE THIS SITUATION ON MY OWN NOW!" and "I'M GOOD. GO AND HELP THE OTHERS! WE'VE GOT YOUR BACK, IRON BRO!!" An enemy reacts in shock, "HUH!!I HOW THE HELL ARE YOU SPINNING LIKE THATI!" and "WOAH!! I DIDN'T KNOW DINOSAURS COULD DO THAT!" Queen taunts, "THEN YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT YOURSELVES!! MORONS... IF YOU HAVE TIME TO WORRY, THIS IS BAD!! RUN, IRON BRO! THAT MOVE..."

A massive spinning Tricera-copter descends in a powerful vortex, its horns and jaws bared as it crashes through the air. Someone shouts, "TRICERA-COPTER!!" Below, a long-haired fighter with horns and a striped outfit clashes violently with the beast, while a spiky-haired warrior yells "GYAH!!" amid flying debris and impact lines. In the lower panels, multiple fighters are sent flying: one spins with a sword, another is struck hard with "GYAH!!", a third screams "AARGH!!", and Franky, wide-eyed in his armored outfit and star-emblazoned shoulder, shouts "GUYS!!" as the chaotic aerial assault continues.

The Tricera-copter spins violently through the air, smashing into a massive blade and sending shockwaves outward. "UGH!!" rings out as the impact lands. In the lower panels, Franky stares upward in shock and yells, "YOU MOVE REAL WEIRD!! I DIDN'T THINK THIS WOULD TURN INTO AN AERIAL BATTLE!" The triceratops-user lands on all fours amid dust and debris, its body coiled and ready as more impact effects explode around it.

Franky, now in his armored General Shield form with a large star-emblazoned cannon arm, grunts "HUFF... HUFF..." while noting, "THOSE PROPELLERS ARE BOOSTING YOUR SPEED A HELLUVA LOT. GO FIGURE..." A voice declares, "THE TRICERATOPS IS A PRETTY SPECIAL BREED OF DINOSAUR!!" Franky activates his defense with "GENERAL SHIELD!!" and challenges, "DO YOUR WORST!!" The triceratops-user spins rapidly, shouting "YOU TRYIN' TO RUSH ME DOWNI!" while unleashing "SWISH SWISH!" effects. Franky reacts with "HUHI!" as the spinning dinosaur launches backward in an explosion of smoke and debris. An observer wonders, "...AND LAUNCHED HIMSELF BACKWARD...I" while another voice asks in surprise, "WHA...I HE SPUN HIS PROPELLER THE WRONG WAY..."

The triceratops-user spins furiously to gain momentum, declaring "...TO GAIN MOMENTUM!! CAN IT!! I JUST WANTED MORE SPACE..." Franky reacts in shock: "NO WAY THAT WAS ON PURPOSE!" and another figure adds, "NOW THIS... IS ENOUGH OF A RUN-UP!" The dinosaur-user launches forward as a living projectile, shouting "TRICERA-BULLET!!" Franky braces with his launcher, yelling "IT'S GONNA MISFIRE!! NOT GOOD! MY SHOULDER LAUNCHER..." as massive impact effects and "BANG!" sounds erupt from the high-speed collision.

A massive explosion erupts as a horned, armored fighter is hurled backward through debris and smoke. The opponent grits his teeth in shock. "!!I" Smaller panels show the fighter's furious face, then a close-up of the cyborg's spinning arm and determined glare. "SONOVA...!" the fighter growls. In the large bottom panel the cyborg leaps in, grabs the fighter, and executes a powerful suplex that slams him into the ground. "SUPLEX!!" the cyborg shouts as the impact cracks the floor. "GENERAL" is visible on the fighter's armband amid flying rubble and motion lines.

Franky extends his right arm, transforming it into a massive blade. "FRANKEN SWORD..." he declares. The horned fighter crashes down, yelling "IT'S OVER!!" and "I DON'T CARE HOW THICK YOUR HIDE IS, YOUR BELLY'S BOUND TO BE A WEAK SPOT!" Franky spins the blade and counters with "VICTORY V FLASH!!" The fighter is sent flying again. In the lower panel Franky skids across the ruined floor, muttering "DAMMIT!!" and "IF ONLY I WAS BETTER WITH SWORDS..." while the fighter lands hard amid more destruction. "TCH! C'MON!!" the fighter snarls.

The fighter's massive swing shatters Franken's sword. "HE SHATTERED MY FRANKEN SWORD!" Franky cries. "SERI-OUSLYI!" The fighter presses the attack, chasing Franky through the corridor. "HE'S ALREADY CHASED ME ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE LIVE FLOOR!" Franky thinks. "NO GOOD! I CAN'T LET THIS GUY THROUGH!!" Franky yells "WHOA!!" as the fighter taunts "AREN'T YOU ASHAMED OF RUNNING AWAY MID-FIGHTI!" Franky decides "IF IT'S GONNA BE LIKE THAT... I'LL JUST PUT ALL MY MONEY ON MY STRONGEST ATTACK FOR A ONE-SHOT COMEBACK!!" He plants his feet and roars "NOW! GAON CANNON ENCORE!!" while transforming. "TRICERA-BULLET!!"

Franky's Tricera-Bullet form fires an enormous spinning cannon blast. "GENERAL CANNON!!" the horned fighter bellows as the massive projectile erupts. The explosion fills the panel with smoke and debris. In the lower tier the fighter is shown mid-transformation or reaction, shouting "WHATI!" Franky, still in cannon mode, warns "DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE BEAST PIRATES BECAUSE OF THE FLYING SIX!" The fighter adds "COUGH! EVERYONE FEARS THE BEAST PIRATES BECAUSE OF THE FLYING SIX!" amid swirling smoke and impact effects.

Franky stares in shock as the massive triceratops cyborg looms over him. "FRANKY..." A voice calls out. The triceratops cyborg roars, "IT'S TIME!" and declares, "I'M TAKING YOU DOWN WITH ME! TRICERA-MAGNUM!!" Explosions erupt as the mechanical beast charges. Franky counters with a massive energy blast, shouting "RADICAL BEAM!!" The impact sends debris flying and the cyborg reeling. Franky grins wildly amid the smoke and rubble, his attack landing with full force.

High above the Skull Dome rooftop, Yamato faces Kaido. "YAMATO. YOU'LL MAKE FOR A WORTHY ADDITION TO OUR MILITARY STRENGTH. WORO RORORO!!" Kaido growls. Yamato retorts, "DID YOU REALLY THINK I'D JUST LET YOU USE ITS POWER FREELYI!" Kaido replies, "IS THAT ANY WAY FOR A FATHER TO TALK TO HIS CHILDI! I WENT THROUGH A LOT TO GET THAT DEVIL FRUIT..." Yamato continues, "AND YOU ALWAYS KNOCKED ME DOWN, BUT THAT'S WHAT MADE ME STRONG!! I'VE TRIED TO KILL YOU COUNTLESS TIMES NOW, IT WAS A REAL SHOCK!! I ONLY ATE IT 'CAUSE I WAS HUNGRY!! YOUR SHACKLES WEREN'T THE ONLY THING KEEPING ME HERE!! ALL I WANTED WAS TO SET SAIL AND NOW I CAN'T EVEN SWIM..."

Kaido's massive dragon form coils around Yamato as they clash in the stormy skies. Yamato declares, "IF I ABANDON THIS COUNTRY..." The dragon form presses down. In a close-up, Yamato's face twists with fury and tears, shouting, "HOW COULD I... CALL MYSELF ODENI! FOR WANO!!" The final panel shows Luffy's silhouette as the chapter ends.
