THE FLAG KNOWN AS PRIDE

MAJORI" She replies nervously, "Y-YES, PLEASE GO AHEAD." The large man with a cigar orders, "LISTEN CAREFULLY TO THIS CONVERSATION BETWEEN TWO MEN." The Den Den Mushi plays the intercepted dialogue: "CRRK... YES, I'VE CARRIED OUT MY MISS-...CRRK..." followed by static-filled fragments mentioning "...PRINCESS VIVI AND... STRAW-HAT PI-...OR NOTI" The Marines analyze the broken transmission, noting keywords like "MR. 0," "STRAW-HAT," "PRINCESS VIVI," and "ORDERS." The man with the cigar concludes they have identified four key terms despite the poor reception.

The discussion continues aboard the ship. The woman deduces, "AND THERE'S TALK ABOUT CARRYING OUT ORDERS... HM, GOOD POINT. IF THESE NUMBERS ARE THEIR CODENAMES, THEN WE MIGHT BE DEALING WITH A SECRET CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION. HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS SUSPICIOUS SWORDSMAN CALLED MR. 11 WHO WE APPREHENDED YESTERDAY AT RUNESU!I COULD IT BE THAT THE MR. 0 FROM THE INTERCEPTED CALL..." The captured Mr. 11, labeled "BAROQUE WORKS FRONTIER AGENT MR. 11," sweats as the cigar-smoking man confronts him about a letter found in his pocket containing orders. Mr. 11 panics, "WHAT!I I- I'M SURE I BURNED THAT LETTER UP...! AH- THAT LETTER IS ACTUALLY..." The Marines press him, revealing they found no such letter, leaving Mr. 11 shouting in distress.

The cigar-smoking Marine reclines and muses about Alabasta being in the midst of a coup d'état, noting "IF I RECALL CORRECTLY, THAT'S THE NAME OF THE ALABASTAN PRINCESS WHO'S CURRENTLY MISSING. 'PRINCESS VIVI.'" The woman wonders if the Straw-Hat Pirates and the criminal organization are connected. She then orders, "REQUEST HQ FOR AN ETERNAL POSE. THAT'S RIGHT. SO THEN..." A subordinate salutes, "YESSIR!" The man adds, "I DON'T KNOW, BUT THIS IS THE ONLY LEAD THAT WE'VE GOT ON THE STRAW-HAT PIRATES RIGHT NOW." The scene shifts to the open sea where the Marine vessel sails toward a massive island. Narration states, "EXACTLY WHAT THE DESERT KINGDOM OF ALABASTA HAS IN STORE FOR US..." A large creature surfaces with a splash as someone suggests, "WHY DON'T WE GO SEE."

The ship arrives at the "ISLAND OF GIANTS, 'LITTLE GARDEN'." Two enormous giants sit laughing under a tree, one with a long mustache shouting "GABABA BABA!" and "GEGYAGYA GYAGYA! I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE BOUNTIES PLACED ON OUR HEADS!" The other replies, "IF THERE'S ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO THANK YOU... YOU LITTLE ONES REALLY HELPED US OUT BACK THERE." On the beach, Nami smacks a blonde woman on the head with a "ぎゅッ" sound, yelling "DON'T SAY THAT! OWW!" The blonde woman, rubbing her head, responds, "BUT EVEN SO... THAT THOSE AGENTS CAME TO THIS ISLAND... IT'S ORIGINALLY MY FAULT."

Nami smiles warmly at Vivi and reassures her, "SEE, NOBODY HERE BLAMES YOU FOR ANYTHING." In the background, Usopp, Mr. 9, and Igaram react with surprise as Vivi questions the source of the food: "WHERE THE HECK DID YOU GET THOSE FROMI" "WANNA EAT SOME SENBEII" "WHY THE LONG FACE, VIVII" A large "ドーン" sound effect rumbles. Sanji appears with hearts in his eyes, laughing "AHAHAHA! YOUR EYEBALLS ARE ON FIRE, USOPP!" while Nami wipes her face and mutters "IDIOTS... ONE MORE TIME, ONE MORE TIME!" She then declares, "YEAH, LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED! TAKE IT ALL OFF, NAMI!" and "ALRIGHT! TIME FOR A SENBEI PARTY!" Below, Igaram, Mr. 9, and the others discuss seriously: "DON'T SPEAK NONSENSE. EVEN WE CAN'T DO A THING ABOUT THE LOGS." "CAN'T YOU MISTERS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THATI" "EXACTLY! THIS IS NO LAUGHING MATTER." "WE'RE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE IF WE HAVE TO WAIT A FULL YEAR FOR THE LOG TO RECORD."

Sanji bursts onto the scene with a dramatic pose, hearts exploding around him as he shouts "NAMI AND VIVI! AND THE REST!" and "HELLO-OOOOO-OOOOO-OOOOO-OOOOO!" Usopp and Luffy react in shock: "HE SHOWS UP NOW!I" "HEY, SANJI!" Nami calls out happily, "THANK GOD YOU'RE ALL SAFE!" Sanji replies with hearts, "OH MY! ELECTRIFYING AS ALWAYS, NAMI!" Nami asks, "HUHI HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MR. 3I" Igaram demands, "THE HELL IS THAT!I" while a figure flees with "ズドーン" and "ギャアアア!!" effects. Someone yells "ARE YOU MR. 3!I"

The crew reflects: "JUST A MOMENT AGO..." "SO THEN..." Nami explains, "YEAH. OR AT LEAST, THAT'S WHAT I TOLD HIM." "AND NOW HE THINKS THAT WE'RE ALL DEAD!I" "IT SEEMS HE MISTOOK ME FOR MR. 3." "YEAH, I GUESS..." Vivi realizes, "YOU WERE TALKING WITH MR. 0...I" She continues worriedly, "JUST WHEN WE FINALLY THROW OFF OUR PURSUERS, WE CAN'T EVEN STEP A FOOT OFF THIS ISLAND!" The group reacts with shock: "WHAI" "!!!!I" "おっ!!" "HUHI" "WHATI DO WE STILL HAVE UNFINISHED BUSINESS HERE OR SOMETHINGI" "I MEAN, I MANAGED TO GET THIS FROM THEM AND ALL..."

Igaram strikes a dramatic pose with arms crossed, declaring "AN ETERNAL POSE TO ALABASTA!" as the crew cheers "WE CAN SET SAIL!" with a huge "やっほーう!!" and "HAHA!" Sanji blushes happily, "I DIDN'T THINK IT'D MAKE YOU THIS HAPPY..." while Nami hugs him, "Y-YOU'RE... WELCOME... DEHEH." and "I WAS SO WORRIED OVER WHAT TO DO...!" "THANK YOU SO MUCH, SANJI!" Luffy grins, "ALRIGHT, GUYS! IT'S TIME FOR A SENBEI PARTY!" Nami snaps, "WE CAN'T JUST LOITER AROUND HERE FOREVER!" Usopp warns, "THIS ISN'T THE TIME FOR THAT. IT'S TIME TO SET SAIL, CAPTAIN!" Luffy protests, "LUFFY! THIS AIN'T GONNA BE MUCH OF A PARTY IF WE'VE ONLY GOT 3 CRACKERS LEFT!"

Usopp grins proudly while holding up a massive rhino he caught. "I CAUGHT A RHINO 'BOUT THIIIIIIIS BIG." Luffy points toward the jungle and replies, "HMI OH, I'M SURE I'VE WON THAT. AH, THAT'S RIGHT. YOU HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN ABOUT OUR HUNTING CONTEST, HAVE YOUI" Usopp stares in disbelief. "A RHINO!I CAN YOU EVEN EAT THAT THINGI" Dorry and Brogy react with surprise in close-up panels, muttering "CONTEST...I" and "HUNTING-". Luffy then shouts excitedly from the foreground, "WE'LL BE TAKING OFF NOW! ALRIGHT THEN, MR. ROUND, MR. GIANT!"

Dorry towers over the group and says, "IT'S A SHAME BUT WE WON'T ASK YOU TO STAY LONGER. I HOPE YOUR COUNTRY'S SAFE, GIRL." Vivi replies, "THANK YOU." Brogy adds, "I SEE... BUSY LIL' BUGGERS, AREN'CHAI" In the next scene the Straw Hats walk away through the jungle. Usopp calls back, "MASTER! I'LL GO TO ELBAF FOR SURE ONE DAY!" while the giants wave. "QUACK!", "HA, SURE IT IS, SON.", "JUST YOU WAIT. MY CATCH IS DEFINITELY BIGGER.", and "SEE YA THEN! DON'T DIE ANYMORE!" echo behind them. The final panel shows Dorry and Brogy sitting quietly by a tree as the ship departs.

Dorry and Brogy watch the ship leave. Dorry says, "WELL, CAN'T LEAVE THEM TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES. THAT MONSTER LIVES IN THE SEAS TO THE WEST." Brogy replies, "OUR FRIENDS ARE SETTING SAIL..." They examine their weapons. Dorry notes, "'COURSE I DO. THIS IS THE AXE I'VE FOUGHT WITH FOR OVER A HUNDRED YEARS. BUT EVEN SO..." Brogy answers, "I GUESS THIS IS IT FOR MY AXE AND YOUR SWORD, ISN'T IT..." and "HOW'RE YOUR WOUNDS...I" Dorry responds, "HMPH, IT'S NOTHING SERIOUS." They both declare, "THEN IT'S DECIDED." and "IF IT'S FOR THEIR SAKE, I HAVE NO REGRETS!" as they ready their massive weapons with a loud impact sound.

Usopp and Sanji argue nose-to-nose on the deck. Usopp yells, "ARE YOUR EYES JUST FOR SHOW OR SOMETHINGI THE BIGGER ANIMAL IS MY RHINO." Sanji retorts, "LOOK! MY LIZARD IS CLEARLY BIGGER." Nami steps in, "YOU STAY OUT OF THIS!" while a voice from the ship adds, "WHO CARES, THEY BOTH LOOK PRETTY TASTY TO ME." Below deck the crew reacts: "HUHI I COULDN'T CARE LESS.", "HEY, USOPP. MINE'S CLEARLY BIGGER, RIGHTI", "AS YOU WISH, NAMI!", "IS A TIE NO GOODI", "THERE'S NO TIE IN A CONTEST!", "HOW LONG ARE YOU TWO GOING TO BICKERI", "WE CAN'T EVEN CARRY ALL THAT MUCH MEAT. JUST PACK UP AS MUCH AS WE NEED AND LET'S GO ALREADY.", and "IT'S TIME TO SET SAIL!" Luffy stands ready at the rail.

The Straw Hats discuss their route through the dense jungle river. "WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXIT ON THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE ISLAND," one says. "IF WE SAIL STRAIGHT FROM HERE," another replies. The Going Merry floats ahead as they debate supplies. "DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD'VE PACKED SOME MORE OF THAT MEATI" "DON'T BE STUPID. WE DON'T EVEN HAVE ENOUGH SPACE TO PRESERVE ANY MORE THAN THIS." "ARE YOU TRYING TO SINK OUR SHIPI" Luffy suddenly spots figures on the bank and shouts, "AH! IT'S THE GIANTS!" A helmeted warrior watches from the side. "THEY'VE COME TO SEE US OFF!"

Massive black shapes loom ahead as the ship sails toward open sea. "DO NOT REACH THE NEXT ISLAND LIES STRAIGHT AHEAD," warns a voice. Another explains, "THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON WHY ALL THE LITTLE ONES WHO COME TO THIS ISLAND..." The Straw Hats react in shock at the sight of the giants' flag. "WHATI" Dorry and Brogy stand firm. "THUS, IN TURN, NO MATTER THE FOE... YOU ALL RISKED YOUR LIVES SO THAT OUR PRIDE CAN REMAIN UNTARNISHED."

The giants roar their final words. "TRUST IN US AND SAIL STRAIGHT AHEAD! NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, SAIL ONLY STRAIGHT AHEAD!" "WE MUST NOT LET YOUR FLAG OF PRIDE BE TARNISHED EITHER...!" Luffy answers with fierce determination, "SAIL STRAIGHT AHEAD!" and waves, "FAREWELL." Nami spots something ahead and cries, "LOOK! UP AHEAD!" "ONE DAY IN THE FUTURE." The giants stand tall on the shore as the Going Merry sails away. "LET US MEET AGAIN."

A colossal sea creature rises from the waves with a thunderous "ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ!!" The giants brandish their weapons. "WE VOW TO CLEAR A PATH!" one declares. "IN THE NAME OF ELBAF," the other adds. The monster is labeled "ISLAND-DEVOURER." Its eyes glare as it approaches the tiny ship. "SO YOU'VE COME," the giants growl, ready to fight.
