In the Flower Capital of Wano, a massive crowd celebrates beneath lanterns and pagodas as fireworks burst overhead. A voice shouts, "YOU'VE HAD WAY TOO MUCH!!" Another replies, "I KNOW, YOU IDIOT!! THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR I CAN DRINK AT ALL!!" while SFX echo "ドンチャン ドンチャン" and "わははは". A sign reads FLOWER CAPITAL, WANO. The narration notes: THE FIRE FESTIVAL IS ALSO COMING TO A CLOSE. In the next panels, a man with curly hair grins, "SEEMS THE FESTIVAL IS STARTING TO WIND DOWN." Nearby figures react in panic as someone yells "QUIET!!" and "RIGHT, OROCHII!" A voice adds, "YOU NEVER KNOW IF ONE OF HIS AGENTS IS AROUND..." The scene shifts to townspeople preparing sky lanterns. A woman in a kimono thinks, "WILL THEY REALLY MAKE THEM COME TRUEI!" while another says, "TIME TO WRITE YOUR WISHES FOR OUR ANCESTORS TO SEE!" A child cheers, "OF COURSE!"

Meanwhile on Onigashima, Luffy pants heavily with wide eyes, "PANT... PANT..." A massive horned skull mask looms as SFX crash "BASH!!" The narration states: MEANWHILE, ONIGASHIMA CONTINUES ITS APPROACH. Kaido, in hybrid form with a club, faces Luffy. Luffy yells, "WHY ARE YOU DRINKINGI!" Kaido replies with confusion marks. In a wide shot across snowy peaks, Kaido says, "THE CAPITAL IS CELEBRATING THE FIRE FESTIVAL TODAY..." Luffy retorts, "AND WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HOST A GRAND BANQUET HERE ON ONIGASHIMA!!" Kaido offers, "YOU WANT A SWIGI" and adds, "ALTHOUGH YOU'VE PRETTY MUCH RUINED THAT!! FUFUFU..." while thinking "BECAUSE I'M HAVING FUN...!!"

Kaido bursts into wild laughter, "FUHAHA HAHAHA!! HOHOHO!!" while Luffy shouts from the side, "YOU'RE TOTALLY WASTED!!" SFX and impact lines fill the panel as Kaido roars "AAAA AHHH!!" In close combat, Kaido mocks, "WOHO HOHOHO!! FUHEHE... YOU DUMBASS!!" and "...AS AN EXCUSE WHEN YOU LOSE!!" Luffy growls, "GETTING DRUNK WON'T WEAKEN ME..." and warns, "YOU BETTER NOT USE THIS..." Kaido then unleashes a massive fiery dragon attack, declaring "SHURON HAKKE!!" Luffy is sent flying as Kaido laughs "WOHA HAHAHA HAHAHA!! HIC" and says, "AND I'VE ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED YOUR STRENGTH!!" Luffy yells back, "I WAS CHALLENGED TO A SERIOUS ONE-ON-ONE FIGHT!! WHEEEEEW!! I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME..."

Kaido's massive dragon head looms with jaws wide, bellowing "WORORO!!" as Luffy stares in shock from the side. In the next panel Kaido swings his kanabo wildly while laughing, the caption noting "LAUGHING DRUNK..." Luffy is sent flying. The dragon coils and slams downward with a devastating strike, roaring "RAGNARAKU!!" The impact shatters the ground in an explosion of debris and black impact lines, with onomatopoeia "SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP!" marking the crushing force.

The Onigashima dome cracks violently under the assault, labeled "DOME INTERIOR, LIVE FLOOR." Onlookers shout "THE ROOF IS CRACKING!!" and "FIRST THE CASTLE'S ON FIRE AND NOW THE DOME ISN'T STABLE!!" Kaido, still in dragon form, grumbles "TALK ABOUT USELESS... SEEMS LIKE I CAN'T EVEN PROTECT ONE LOUSY CASTLE..." while another voice adds "BUT THE CASTLE AND ISLAND ARE HALF DESTROYED!! I'M ENJOYING THIS." Luffy lands nearby, replying casually "WHEW... IT'LL TAKE WHATI AROUND FIVE YEARS...I I GUESS WE COULD REBUILD..." Kaido snaps back in rage, "YOU BASTARD!! THAT HURT, DAMMIT!!" with a sign reading "SAD DRUNK PHASE."

Kaido mutters "THAT'S JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH... WHEW... BUT MAYBE..." and "I DID MY BEST... HIC" while Luffy pants "I'VE GOTTA KEEP MY GUARD UP!! PANT... PANT..." Kaido unleashes a spinning attack labeled "DRAGON DEMOLITION TWISTER!!" The vortex strikes Luffy, who grunts "UGH!!" Kaido then roars "WAAAH!! YOU DAMN BRAT!! GET AWAY...!!" marked "CRYING DRUNK PHASE" as Luffy is hurled backward.

Kaido swings his club, warning "THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU DON'T BACK OFF!! THUNDER..." Luffy is struck and sent flying with a loud impact. Kaido continues "BA... DON'T GET AHEAD OF YOURSELF!" while panting. Luffy recovers and counters with a powerful punch, yelling "YOU DRUNK!! TAKE THAT," as Kaido's face twists in pain with "SHISH!!" and "UGH!!!" The final panel shows Luffy charging forward, club raised, shouting "GUA...!!!" while Kaido looms in the background.

Kaido's massive dragon form looms with jaws open and claws extended as Luffy clings to its body. A staff-like object strikes with a BZZ sound effect. Luffy's face twists in shock, eyes wide and mouth agape as he yells "WAAAAH!!" and "....!!" while being slammed. The dragon head snaps forward, biting and thrashing. Luffy is hurled through the air with a "WOAH!" as the beast's tail and body coil violently. Massive impact SFX "ゴキン!!" erupt as Luffy is driven into the ground, debris flying and the dragon's claws pinning him amid swirling smoke and cracks.

Kaido's dragon form and a smaller flying figure clash violently in midair above rocky terrain, producing jagged impact lines and "ギギギギ...!!" SFX. Kaido lands in a crouched dragon stance, muttering "WHEW" with a dizzy effect as speech bubbles read "I WAS JUST STARTING TO HIT THAT GOOD BUZZ!!" and "YOU LITTLE...!!". In the next panel Kaido's hybrid form grabs Luffy by the head, smashing him with a cross-shaped impact while yelling "ARGH!!" as a narrator notes "HIS HAKI'S GETTING STRONGER!". A close-up of Kaido's furious face shows the label "ANGRY DRUNK PHASE" while he roars "WHY'D YOU HAVE TO SOBER ME UP, YOU BRAT!!".

Luffy, wearing a straw hat, unleashes a massive barrage labeled "...GATLING!!" and "GOMU GOMU NO..." against Kaido's dragon form, creating explosive impacts and a "METEOR SHOWER!!" of spiked dragon heads raining down with the note "KAIJU PRIME DRAGON ARMY". Kaido is sent flying as Luffy shouts "ROC..." and follows with "GUNDARI:" while spinning into a whirlwind attack. The ground erupts under the force of the blows, sending debris and shockwaves outward as both fighters clash at high speed.

Kaido's dragon jaws clamp down with "ドッ!!" and "ガン!!" SFX while Luffy is struck. Both fighters scream in pain with overlapping yells "AAAAAAAAAAH!!" and "HAAAAA AAAAAH!!" amid a massive crater explosion and swirling debris. Luffy and Kaido tumble through the air in a spiraling impact, trading heavy blows that produce repeated "ガン!!" and "ガキン!!" sound effects. Close-ups show their bloodied, enraged faces locked in combat as the ground cracks and dust clouds billow from the relentless exchange.

A massive dragon-like figure with horns and scales roars in fury, its face twisted in rage. Below, a smaller dragon form clashes violently as a powerful strike lands. The impact explodes outward with debris and smoke. A figure is hurled back by the force, arm extended in a punch. A huge burst of energy erupts as someone screams in agony, "AAAAAA AAAAGH!!" Close-ups show Luffy's gritted teeth and sweat-covered face in determination, while the dragon-headed Kaido snarls with bared fangs and wild eyes amid swirling clouds and motion lines.

A grand view of the Holy Land - Mary Geoise on the Red Line rises under cloudy skies. Narration notes, "IT'S AS IF THIS YEAR'S REVERIE WAS CURSED. WE SHOULD PUT WHAT HAPPENED ASIDE FOR NOW." Inside a lavish hall, five supreme leaders of the World Government discuss: "IT WOULDN'T BE OUT OF PLACE FOR SOMEONE TO DIE UNEXPECTEDLY... DURING A WAR THAT INVOLVES KAIDO AND BIG MOM... THIS IS OUR CHANCE TO ERASE THAT NUISANCE!!" "NICO ROBIN MUST'VE BEEN APPREHENDED BY NOW. IT'S TIME TO ACT!!" "THERE WAS NO WAY OF KNOWING THAT THE BATTLE WOULD GO THIS FAR." "WANO IS THE MORE PRESSING ISSUE." On the seas near Wano, ships stand ready as a voice asks, "WHAT'S THE MATTERI" and another replies, "UH..." with sound effects "ゴゴォ...オ" and "バキッ..." while a flag marked "LO" flutters.

A man in a tall hat and sunglasses sweats, exclaiming, "AN ISLANDI" A lookout shouts, "WHAT IS ITI" as another replies, "WELL... THERE'S A GIANT SHADOW..." "NO IDEA..." In the hall, an elder with a sword demands, "HOW ELSE DO YOU EXPLAIN THE WORLD GOVERNMENT... GIVING A SPECIFIC DEVIL FRUIT A UNIQUE NAMEI!" Another elder gasps, "IT HASN'T AWAKENED FOR CENTURIES!" while a third clutches his face, "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!! THAT FRUIT IS NOTHING BUT A LEGEND NOW, EVEN FOR US." A massive shadowy figure looms over World Government ships as narration declares, "...FROM THE ANNALS OF HISTORYI!" "THEY WERE HIDING THE FRUIT'S TRUE NAME..." A character wonders, "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN...I!" The page ends with "ONE PIECE" and "CH.1037 /END BREAK NEXT WEEK."
